Honey! Oh Honey - there's something here you need to read!

Now this is a new one on me!![]()
Actually, I goofed. It is my kid's daycare that banned the PB&J. The school just requires peanut-free tables in the cafeteria
Although some individual teachers may ban them from classrooms or field trips if a child in the class has a peanut allergy![]()
I am his greatest fan, ( apart from the one on his ceiling!)![]()
Right now our two biggest issues are that she thinks anything on the kitchen counter is hers and she destroys all dog toys in about 10 minutes.

I did this too
My sixteenth anniversary is next July

You can't be serious?! Wonder who came up with that one?![]()
If you figure out a good cure for the counter scavenging, let me know, out Dal keeps doing this too.....
You better duck, here comes some shoes. What was all this waiting stuff. I had meetings all day. Didn't wait a minute.
Plus, the thread sounded like you were all having a great time, wonderful hold music, consistent pricing, quick answering.....
Was very pleasantly surprised at the price my TA sent me (so cheap, couldn't afford not to go).
Excuse me while I duck for all the stuff being thrown at me.
....
Just watch out for Cheryl, ever since she learned to multi-post and to post images... yikes![]()
(kidding Cheryl, kidding)
Cheryl really is a sweety
Completely serious. A boy in DS6's kindergarten has a life threatening peanut allergy. Actually, to most nuts, and some other things. It's not the peaunt butter that's the problem so much as the peanut oil (from the peanut butter or other stuff) that might get on a chair or table, or whatever.
Peanut free lunches are voluntary in the class, though I believe all families are living with the limitations. And the children are aware and look out for this boy. (It's done within the context of we all care for each other, and this is one way we care about our classmate.)
The good news is that this is his first year of kindergarten, so he'll be a year behind DS6 and we won't have to live with these limitations throughout the grades. And, the school community it pretty supportive of the situation.
.
A thousand
WELCOME's
to all our new Pirates. This is great crew we've got here. Just jump on in. Don't try and catch up.
In other news, I'll be meeting with our T-**** printer on the 26th. He's just getting in all the supplies for his new equipment and we'll be able to get a few samples done. (Yes, I'll take pictures.)
Do we have a list some place of the upcoming meets? We could send the samples out to the different meets so folks can see them.
Oops. Gotta run. Gotta date with a 6 year old and an unfinished Gingerbread house. He's finished drawing his plan and is ready to start.
.
I'm curious to see his reaction to this part of the thread....

JR is getting all the guys in trouble here...
Okay, now I understand.I was beginning to think it was some kind of goofy political statement or something.

When planning for my long airplane ride to Paris this summer I found a thread discussing airplane snacks. Some folks were saying that you aren't supposed to bring any kind of nut snack on the plance because some people are so allergic that even the scent/fumes gets to them??? Had never heard of that before. They went on to explain how PB&Js had been banned at schools. I understand that some folks do have a severe allergy but I've never heard of nut fumes bothering somone??
