Howdy!
Okay, what am I missing? Are we starting the secret minnie/mickey thing already or what?
(nevermind. I did a quick check on the website and see I missed out on the pre-cruise exchange. I've been reading the emails sent out and have been to the website a few times- I just didn't happen to check THAT page to notice the exchange!)

Happy birthday to everyone I missed.
And annivesary.
And anything else congrats are in order.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Just been really really super mega busy with all the kids stuff, family stuff, etc.
I'll try to hang around more often- or atleast not stay away so long next time.

Fill me in on anything I simply MUST know... that I missed in the past few weeks?

I'm pretty sure you were the one volunteered to bring a bottle of champagne for each registered stateroom . . . don't worry, that will only turn out to be about half the ship . . .

Last night at the school board meeting one of the elementary schools was talking about their program called "Fill a Bucket." It's a way to give complements and be nice to others. Last night there were great examples of caring for others and great accomplishments of the students in the district. It made me think how we on this thread "Fill each others buckets." We joke around and have fun, but we are all supportative of one another. I've been thankful for this thread and all you guys. It had helped me get through a couple of rough spots. You guys are the best and I can't wait to meet everyone!:grouphug:

Since I don't have a spouse, my dd thinks I'm nuts when I bust out laughing while reading this thread. She often asks me why am I talking to people I don't know? (But I do feel like I know you)

   Thanks for sharing that Tina, I feel the same way about this wonderful group of..........pirate: pirate: pirate:

Yeah, I know.
That was my sentiments exactly- when I read about this online recently.
Terribly bummed. This is probably going to be our only trip to Disneyland and IASW is one of the rides we really wanted to go on. Someone please tell me that it's no different than the one at WDW so I can stop being bummed about this news. :(

Same here BIP! This could be our one & only trip to DL & I was really looking forward to IASW.

Notice I put IASM before? What the heck was I thinking? It's a Small Mouse? :confused3 I've said it before & I'll say it again...I am acronimally challenged.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Hope everyone has a great holiday and gets safely to thier destinations.

I like the banter and the bad spelling! I'm the worlds worst speller. Sometime my fingers have a mind of their own, especially in chat!

Crash what were you thinking? :confused3 I hear that area is getting snow the next couple of days. Did you bring your surf board? You could go snow boarding!

So Alicia is from near Pittsburgh. My half sister is in Ellwood City, about 40 miles north of Pittsburgh. I pretty much now every small burg along I-90.

ITA! Just for example looking at Crash's image below....I literally gaffawed, but DD is looking over my shoulder going "What the heck IS that?" I replied that it's an ongoing joke & hard to explain. :goodvibes

Anyone else notice the cordless DRILL BLENDER he has at the lower edge of his Thanksgiving table? I always knew Roger was a wild NUTMEG pirate... but this is a bit MORE WILD then I would have expected!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Prosecco would do . . .

:thumbsup2

If we're giving orders, I'll take some Banfi Rose Regale! ;)

oops, on the last line....its my lil'miss cutie....that claimed i
have the "prefect talent"..for ticking off others...,

...oh, yeAH ~nothing more "bountiful"..than A " buckeye princess"...,

...but don't get me wrong...i  miss-A-kin ' fans....after all,

their miseries..add alot :yay: ..to the victory...:thumbsup2

..ok, college dyanimics..concerning football rivarlies.....i think, the
traditions...being for the kids..should always remain # 1 and then
to the community...while the points [victories] & $$$, should only be
used for supporting the kids.

i think my feelings were acquired by my experiences...with my local
high school team..and its connections to the thundering herd. i'm
not saying "i'm right"...rather than, this is why football traditions are
important to me. across the boards, & country..we're actual all on
the same team...no matter the sporting event. osu..became one of
our favorites....based on my father's devotions...& my wife/nieces '
school. however, it was important to shared gainsville with my wife/
kids..when we went to fla., :cheer2: . my buddies & i ..went to games
for alternatives..reasons....i won't rule out the cheerleaders, & to
pick up girls..but seldom were we paying attentions..to the scores.

even to this day..my lil'miss swears..the only reason ......i got excited
when osu ..scored against....mich., was to get a lil' fresh....now ,
that hurt my feelings..how could she think ....me? :rolleyes1 . in facts,
this "battle" in the stands...she blame, on causing her to tumble...on
top of the fans below ...us. what A+ attention getter....lil' vixen of  s.

..the whole section came to her rescue...giving me the "evil" eye. :snooty:

...there's alot more to this "date"..then meets the eye, pirate: ! * foremost
she was going say no....but luckily i read her right..so before she mutter
no thanks...i look into her eyes..& whispered..."plez say yes". that's how
close...all our kids came from...not getting..an invite.

oh, i had alot friends going osu..while i was going to ou. fun. as anyone,
from mich. knows..."the game"..is all about the pre-game...parties....
:rolleyes1 . then having to drive across the half the state...to pick
my lil'miss' flame up...oboyion! she was dressed to this hilt....:faint:

me, on the other hand..was out to dry....:earboy2: ., but i did bring
presents...one in which..was this hugmogus..hersley kisses...which i
whispered....:love1: . ha! [ she ignored me! ]....

*****
to this day....it is very easy to recall..exactly what she had on. :flower3:
..lisa would like this...red-plaid western, top..with ruffles, & western
chic .."tight fitting"...bluejeans..and her cowgirls boots, [ that we still
have]...& her buckeyes' necklace....so while i was..sleep walkin, that
woke me wide awake! in an instance!

(guys only- ever noticed..how all the lady~bucks' ...buckeye necklaces...
always end @? if not, you need to go back..to school...:teacher: )

welll we get to "rendez~:smokin: ~vous, & hold to behold....iam missing
one ticket. * even to this day..my lil'miss ...tells anyone who will listens,
" I ", tried to palm her off on my brother......while i go to the game by myself.
.......,

:scared: [where she gets..this craxy ideas..is beyond me..but remember,
?..she ignored my "hugmogus".. pure...cholocolate ..kisses? ;) .

next thing...ya know..the osu 's cheerleaders..from next door..asked if
anyone missing a ticket...& thought maybe one of us..might'VE dropped
" it" last night..helping them...practice....their :cheer2: , :rolleyes1

roger, i have had this ball hat, like 15 years..its a "dale earnhart"
signature one..heck, i even gave my son...one of his wranlger
ball hat. funny, i never noticed the numeg racing...emblem.

:scared: ,off the hook..and even to this day..my lil'miss has never pick
up on this lil' connection..how "her" ticket...got into the hands...of
the osu cheerleaders...whew..some ..deserets..are better left...on
the shelf.

on the walk back...is where ,we ran into bo , & "how its going"?..my
futrue lil'miss sweetie...asked...did he just growled?.... ,
dear...lil'miss, let me explained...who that is.....so now can you imagined
the llllong ride backkkk...

oh, the "it"..was a ticket osu/mich, right on the 50 yard line, behind the
team...you know, i still don't remember exctly how it went on the field,
except all the "activities"...in the stands....where the real "game' going
on & on & on...ongoing to this day....pirate: .

by defaults, i taking what i can, out of life...& so goes my references to
college football traditions...after all, we all are on the same team?

..dear mic's fans...say what you want, but like always, the osu's head
coach...demonstrated respect to all his oponents...they took a knee,
when they could have scored another td, ..he is a class act. [ in the
spirit of loathing one's opposition..is not the same as actual hating or
hurting them.] besides, there are other fun~things one can be doing...
like cheering..with one lil'sweetie...funny, isn't this what everybody
doing..out to have sum'fun.

for the offical record...that's what my buddies from osu..who were in
our wedding...wrote all over our car....those monsters! ps, it isn't
possible..due to moral rstrictions...to tell the song we're singing....
on the way..to the church. pirate:

That is a nice program Tina. I feel the same way--even though I have only met a few of us so far--I feel like I have known some forever.:)

Oooo..... Lisa,

Don't forget to mention that - that was ONE bottle of Krug, Clos du Mesnil 1995 for each cabin! Plus the Baccarat Massena Champagne Flutes (BC344109) ... four of 'em per cabin please! That'll only run about $750 per bottle and $600 for the flutes which vary in price from $185 to 125 ... so I just assumed you'd get 'em for $150 each including tax and shipping to the boat.

Ok If I have to but it's going to be Canada Dry.:rotfl2:

Of course, begging Pirates can't be choosey! I'll settle for Canada Dry (or RUM) and dixie cups any time!

< wink >

OK... gota run to "Shaws" to pick up the turkey dinner package! Then it's off to the hosapital to visit Mommy and the new baby! Adios!

Does it have to be champagne or is sparkling wine ok?:confused3

Either will be appreciated:goodvibes :goodvibes

Man oh man, I took a 15 minute power nap waiting for this thread to open, talk about the boards running slow, I think they are actually running in reverse...................:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It took so long to load, I forgot what I was going to post about..............:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I didn't think ANY of my images might be "disturbing"....

< wink >

However, if anyone has paused in bemused reflection over anything I posted - just you remember I can be pretty spontaneous in selecting an image to go with a thought I'd like to support in a posting - and as such I am officially INNOCENT of any disturbing images posted! < steady silent grinnin' >

Seriously, most folks should know I'm a relatively normal - gainfully employed SAHD - I have worked from home in the same business (with small natural adjustments over time) for 20+ years now. The only major difference in me though, is before we had kids I would be on the road, running coast to coast for roughly half the year and my business income was significantly higher as a result. With kids I have given up on a lot of business and income opportunities... however I find the rewards of happy parenting to be priceless.

OK... enuf of all that... I know some of what i post might be viewed as odd - but remember - I am not trying to make a perfectly balanced and well conceived posting - rather I am just speeding along and matching up near miss images to the idea I'm trying to illustrate. Sometimes it works - and sometimes it does not - and other times its' probably a little ... disturbing.

Crash, I hope you know it was all said in good fun. All DH sees is the pictures and they do not seem to make sense (unless you read the text). Your pictures are some on my favorite posts. Always good for a few  chuckles, especially if I am having a difficult day at work. I often take a few minutes to check the boards when I am stressed out at the office. Which has been a lot lately.

Either will be appreciated:goodvibes :goodvibes
