o.k now for my big news and trust me I just found out this today and I am still thinking to myself wow wasn't expecting this at all.

I haven't worked in 5 years for various reasons, one I am lucky that I don't have to but most important I have had alot of health problems over the years.

I think they are finally getting behind me.

Chuck called me to tell me someone want's me to interview for a job !!!
I know this person and Chuck's boss said it would be no conflict since I wouldn't be near Chuck's end of business. He would not be my boss.

They want to hold the position open till I recover and set up a interview in a week or 2.

It's a great opportunity, great pay and something I know about and would have fun doing.

Basically Chicago would be divided into 3 zones and I would be in charge of one zone.

Not sure how many people would be working for me yet, but I am excited and nervous about the challenge.

My title would be a source manager, not sure I could go into to much on here without breaking any rules.

I just got clearance to drive but I still tire easily. So now I will rest up and tweek my resume and see what happens.

As one tanner from another, I do know better too. I just like being tan instead of pasty white like I am all winter. I thing you need a big hug too.

Okay what are light treatments. I have never heard of them???

Cheryl it looks like a stand up tanning bed, but has UVB lights in it instead of the UVA.

No, not yet. I do meet with the contractor in the morning to go over the "upgrades". Hopefully it is still in my budget, if not there really isn't anything that I can cut out. (then it will be put off a year or so). I am keeping my fingers crossed that it works out.

The City has different programs to help out with some of the expenses--but ALL of them are out of funds. Some I don't qualify for and others would require a mortgage placed on the property (and I don't own it and wouldn't think of asking my landlord to do that)

Now if I can live with the new budget--I still have to get the 4 variances approved by the planning board

There was a "notice" on the Main Cruise page that any sig that was "over" it's allowable space was going to be "cut down". Mine was, because I rarely pay attention to the rules.

I am so glad you are back!!! It has been a very busy month with 5 birthdays. The last is John's this Saturday!!!

BTW, yesterday new siggie sizes went into effect. You will need to work on your--possibly just removing some blank lines or putting your pictures next to each other I see you already figured that out

Debi: Thanks, funny thing is you can tell when Dante likes something because he will growl at you IF you try and take it off. I still can't lift him for another week or so..............poor thing only weighs 9 lbs. Chuck bought a set of pet stairs so he can get onto our bed. It's so cute to see him use them. He takes naps with me during the day.





Paula: Thank you, seems like she grew up overnight. I know she was sad about me but she had a good time. I learned later that 2 boys were waiting for her at dance. Yup after pain medication wore off we had a little talk. It worked out in the end but oh my just the thought. I will have to keep my eyes on her.

I was up cuz I had stuff on my mind. Went in for a mammo last week,got a call yesterday to come back in,they saw a "spot" and want another look. I'm sure it's nothing but I'm still a bit worried.

Most of the call backs are false alarms. So the odds are in your favor

I have my priorities in place. I saw my sig. and knew it needed to be changed and needed to figure out what happened. I wasn't even thinking about going back to work. It also is inspiring me to recover quicker and I already thought about the fact that I could plan more cruises. Shhhhh don't tell Chuck I said that.

Chuck already has approval for the time off. He had to do that a long time ago. The person who would be my boss........well I walked in labor day parade with him & his wife. We talked about the cruise and his wife said she would watch Dante in her home. She works part-time in a vet clinic. She has a puggle puppy that is her baby. We were suppose to set up a play date for the boys ( dogs ) but then I got really sick and had operation. I didn't mean to have this long answer for ya just wanted to give some background. I will mention it though during interview. He kinda told Chuck HE wants me for the job. He knows my background and we have spent a little time together.
