Well...

... I don't wanna be a pain to anyone. Sometimes I must get carried away... besides, I've found other ways to be distracted as of late.

Looks like I'll be driving another 3 county triangle today - had some last minute developements this morning. So I'll be gone for the day in a few minutes and back (maybe) after midnite. And if it's after midnite then I'll be too zonked again to wander on line much.

With that in mind - I hope everyone is having a good day.

Tom, you're not a PAIN! You make me laugh:goodvibes

Oh and just one more thing

THIS IS MY 1000TH POST ON THIS BOARD !!!!!!

:cool1: :cool1: You must do a lot of posting too:rotfl2:

I tell ya Arlene, nothing surprises me anymore. :rolleyes1

Thanks Chrissie, that was really sweet of you! I'm sure it's nothing really. You know all those years of sun tanning are taking it's toll. :sad2: Funny thing is he asked me, do you sun tan? "Um what gave it away? The pasty white skin under the johnny?" :lmao:

Hope it isn't anything serious Diane:hug: I love to tan--I find it very relaxing. But I have been going for light treatments at the dermatologist and I can't mix them.:sad2:

ITA with your first statement...what would we do without Crash's images! :goodvibes

Thanks for the hug! I still love to tan too, but I try not to do it as much as I used to. But when I'm on vacation, I have to go back home with a tan. It's a requirement here in the Northeast!

How are the light treatments working? I think I'm going to be considering that soon too!

I lost my cruise countdown. I think I have it fixed. I just took out all the extra spaces and lines. Hope it is all in there now.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and kind thoughts. I have promised myself I will post more. Maybe I will even learn that multi quote thing and how to post pictures. I am pretty computer literate, but no so much the internet posting thing.

I am still working on convincing DH to add a few extra days so we can go to DL. He seems to think he is indispensible at work and 15 days is the most he can be away. He recently got promoted and it has gone to his head.:rotfl2:

Observation from my couch (while watching ballgame): Youkilis is just a sweaty scary man. Not just home run scary, like serial killer scary.

Just testing...
Can I dis on my crackberry...ummm blackberry?

YAY! It worked!

Yes you can!!! :cool1: I figured that out a while back (30,000 or so posts).

A few pointers though:

  • When engaged in a pirate: run during a particularly boring meeting shouting either "#*@&# swabbie/wench" or "Oh yeah! Oh yeah! I got the pirate: " don't go over well.
  • It can be terribly slow to load.
  • If anyone is looking over your shoulder, make sure none of Crash's more "innocent" images are showing.... explaining why you are looking at handcuffed feet being tickled... you get the point.

I just got the thing! I logically knew I could, I just hadn't tried it yet - sheesh.

So tell me couselor, what is the billable hour rate for a :pirate: run?

I keep it on my fridge too! ;)

I was up cuz I had stuff on my mind. Went in for a mammo last week, got a call yesterday to come back in,they saw a "spot" and want another look. I'm sure it's nothing but I'm still a bit worried.

 Here's to nothing!

Im not touching this one ...

pirate:

That makes (at least) two of us.

three

Looks like Harley's legs have been cut off in my siggie....what gives?

Never mind. Guess I fixed it.

First his ears, then his , now his legs!
It's a good thing Ellen's shelter doesn't know about you.

NOooooo....NOT YOU....the entire DIS altogether. Not just our thread. It's all the pictures that are on ALL of the threads, and not even just the cruise threads.

I LOVE your pictures and hope I didn't offend you!! A thousand pardons!

Look at what I turned around and saw looking at me through the patio door last night!

AWWWWW....."Mommy...Let me IN!!"

/
There was a "notice" on the Main Cruise page that any sig that was "over" it's allowable space was going to be "cut down". Mine was, because I rarely pay attention to the rules.
(bad Stacey)

So I just went in and made it all teeny, tiny font. Can't read it anymore, but at least it's still there.....:rotfl2:

I don't need to worry about my siggie being cut off because I don't have one. In my 140 posts I have tried many times to add a snazzy REPO banner, but I have failed every time.
I would like to share my happy moment of the day. My highlight at WDW is the Wishes Fireworks at the MK. We were there this summer and my DH secretly bought me the CD. He gave it to me as a surprise this morning. I listened to it 4 times today on my way to and from work. I love it so much. :goodvibes

My DH Rich has had the shots twice now. The first round of the Synvisc he was ok for around 6 months. The last round this year in Feb he really felt it. He has been bone on bone on his bad leg. The one he drags a bit which doesn't help matters either. But the reason it was much more painful this time was there wasn't as much room for the needle to go in. We are still relatively painfree and he adamantly refuses another operation. So we will continue with the shots as long as possible :confused3

My very first Mammo they saw something. Had to go back for another and an ultrasound. Next stop was the surgeon :scared1: and it turned out to be an inflamation. It never showed up in the following years. Let's hope it is the same for you:thumbsup2

To Diane, :grouphug: Hope it also is nothing.

DH had his MRI today and now he has to sweat it out til next Thursday. He is getting very tired of these. Hopefully they will promote him to every 6 months instead of 4. Then we saw the Podiatrist. One of these days we really need to end these visits. You know once they have you they hook you into a visit every 6 weeks and all he does is check out his toe and clip his nails.Yuck!!!

If I haven't already said this Congrats Todd for the great job in keeping smoke free.

Oh and just one more thing

Way to GO!

:rotfl2: Staying at home is an honorable thing.:rotfl2:

You got that right... his first at bat and the sweat is just rolling off the brim of his batting helmet. GROSS

Check out Trivisonno's page and the "tribe songs" a couple mixes the radio guys did and the oldie but goodie Indian Fever!

I love CC but he has got to go tonight. He is just not performing in the post season.

I keep it on my fridge too! ;)

Debi,my thought and prayers are with you. I wish I could give you a big hug but this will have to do:hug:

Glad you fixed Harley so he has his legs back.:thumbsup2

This is very early for me, but I had to get up & go to the dermatologist & have a little biopsy. Nothing like having a needle of novacain stuck in your back at 7:30 in the morning to get you going! ;)

As one tanner from another, I do know better too. I just like being tan instead of pasty white like I am all winter. :rolleyes1 I thing you need a big hug too.:flower3:

Okay what are light treatments.:confused3 :confused3 I have never heard of them???

If my banner works "THANK YOU TOM". Believe it or not I am a Computer Consultant and I could not figure this out (by the way if no banner appears I am a stay at home mom)

I have been a stay at home mom for 39 years and I loved it!!! Now I am a stay at home grandmother.:cloud9: If you need help, there are so many computer guru's that are more than willing to help.:flower3: Just ask me, everyone has been so helpful. You will be posting pictures in no time!!!

Yes I agree vacation tans are required! (Plus, I don't like to wear alot of makeup and the sun helps with that)

Well, I have been going twice a week now for almost 3 months. My psorasis is showing some improvement. Dr. said it takes about 16-18 treatments before I would notice any improvement. I started out at a whopping 11 seconds and I am up to 1min 6sec.. (time will continue to increase up to about 30 minutes) It is just the UVB rays. I am hoping it continues to improve. His office is close, I walk from work. If it wasn't and I had to drive to an appointment for that small of a treatment I think I would explore some other avenues. He wanted to put me on Enbrel for it, but at 1500-2000 per month--I said no thanks. (One of the drawbacks to being self employed). i am going to give the light treatments until the 1st of the year and see how my skin looks.

Well hello everyone..............I am back.:thumbsup2 First thank you for the PD & prayers, I did feel them. I just answered all my pm's. Wow some were a month old.:surfweb: Lot's to tell but first...............To all the birthdays I have missed.

Recovery has been worse then I ever thought it would be. Some things I wasn't prepared for............5 % of people who have this done have some things happen afterwards and well I was one of the lucky 5 %. It's really awful to tell and trust me you don't want to know. Couple of days after operation I developed a cold. Still trying to get rid of it !!!

It was nice to have my Mom here for a week. I missed my DD homecoming.:sad1: My Mom took plenty of pics though.:thumbsup2 Here is one and while she was here she made Dante a sweater coat. He loves it !!

More news to follow in next post.:surfweb:

Darn............can't get image up from photobucket.
