This is very early for me, but I had to get up & go to the dermatologist & have a little biopsy. Nothing like having a needle of novacain stuck in your back at 7:30 in the morning to get you going! ;)

Happy Tipsy Thursday Everyone!!!

Hey I have that comic on my fridge! :goodvibes

Gee I thought I was the only one who stayed up till ungodly hours...well except for Crash of course! ;)

:rotfl2:

I keep it on my fridge too! ;)

I was up cuz I had stuff on my mind. Went in for a mammo last week, got a call yesterday to come back in,they saw a "spot" and want another look. I'm sure it's nothing but I'm still a bit worried.

pixiedust: and prayers for a 'nothing' for you.

You can count me in this little club too Stacey! I have 2 bad knees. One since Jr. High ('70-'73). The left one used to dislocate all the time and the other is bone on bone. Just love the cold and rainy weather...not!

Last winter I had the Supartz (joint fluid replacement) injections in the knee that is on what we fondly refer to as my "good leg". It's a good thing I did that, because that poor leg has been supporting an awful lot of body weight lately. lol But it really did help me...so far. So I might have it done on the "bad" side, maybe this spring. But anyway, the one that we did the injections in was also like you said, bone on bone.
I know that (at least I think) Andy had these injections at one point also..and they do help...but they truly are only meant to buy a little time before joint replacement.
After going through all this, I'm thinking I'll just keep right on getting those shots! Not sure I EVER want any more surgery.

I keep trying to figure out what I did as a young pup to damage all my joints this badly. :confused3 Maybe I shouldn't have played football with the boys??? (all brothers and grew up in an all boy neighborhood);)

I'm sure that will be my next step. When I had my right one worked on in 90's, the surgeon told me then "You have nice knees for a 60 yr. old!" I was 40 at the time. He told me that eventually I'd need replacement surgery but didn't want to do it yet,too young. Then I had it scraped again in '05. That was followed with a series of "Rooster Shots" The medication is made from the comb of a rooster. It involves inserting a large needle into the knee joint, 2 or 3 times. Had to do this for like 3 or 4 weeks. I swear they had to "peel me off the ceiling" every time he put the needle in. :scared1:

They were Syn-visc injections most likely, I had that done to my left knee back in the summer of 2000, it did get some relief for about four months. My insurance would only allow me to have those shots every 6 months. That's when the doc and I decided to go with the partial knee replacement. I know how you feel, my doc said my knees are like that of a 85 year old............nice huh???

How do I add the banner logo to my signiture?

Upper left there is the "user cp" button, push and then select "edit signature"

you can either upload the banner or link to the image (they are available on the webpage) then save.

I have not imported any of the birthdays, anniversaries and other key dates that you have provided onto the website calendar. (Don't have that kind of time). You can add your own by clicking the add event button (big red plus) and it will be added to list for approval (I check them every day and just change format to match others then approve).

So add away.

Debi--Hazel had a scare a couple years back with a mammo, she went back for a second mammo and got the all clear, we'll keep you in our thoughts that all is well!!!

I'll be thinking of you, and praying. I've had a couple of tumors removed, but neither cancerous. For the most part, I'm just one of those "lumpy" people.....(sorry men!)......so maybe you're just lumpy too. Harmless lumpy that is.
 :flower3:
