Sorry...just now catching up...I zonked out for a while. I booked the GC with a Downtown Disney view. Those rooms are the closest! It's all about the length of the walk these days.

DEAR DIARY: ..DAY ONE
All packed for the cruise ship - all my sexiest dresses and
make-up.
Really excited.

DEAR DIARY ... DAY TWO
Entire day at sea, beautiful and saw whales and dolphins. Met the
Captain today - seems a very nice man.

DEAR DIARY .. DAY THREE
At the pool today. Also some shuffle boarding and hit golf balls
off the
deck. Captain invited me to join him at his table for dinner. Felt
honored
and had a wonderful time. He is very attractive and attentive.

DEAR DIARY . DAY FOUR
Won $800.00 in the ship's casino. Captain asked me to have dinner
with him in his own cabin. Had a luxurious meal complete with
caviar and
champagne. He asked me to stay the night but I declined. Told him
I could
not be unfaithful to my husband.

DEAR DIARY .. DAY FIVE
Pool again today, got sun burnt, went inside to drink at piano bar
for
rest of day. Captain saw me, bought me several large drinks. Really
is
charming. Again asked me to visit his cabin for the night.Again I
declined. He told me if I didn't let him have his way with me he
would
sink the ship.

I was shocked.

DEAR DIARY ... DAY SIX
Today I saved 1600 lives. Twice.

All four of us have been in that show. I was in it just a few years after it opened. The year I was picked both DD's were standing on either side of me jumping up and down and pointing down at me. This was way back when we wore colored socks with to match outfits and during the entire show the MC kept calling everyone's attention to my green socks. Both girls were picked the year they turned 18. It's become a family tradition to try to get in when one of the kids is 18. I think that we could all probably fill a book with our own particular Disney family traditions.

It was great meeing you at our mini meet. Hope the rest of your trip was the best.

I have been on stage twice in my life and both were Disney!!! Last year I was on stage dancing on the cruise. I guess i like making a fool out of myself only with Disney.

It was great to meet you too!! I look forward to spending some time with you next year. We did find the perfect house in Eustis. It was a 3100 hundred square foot house. The same house closer to Disney was $140,000 more. I am hoping the developement will still be there. It is projected to go for 4 years.

I am glad I made you laugh. Just keep resting.

Mark also did this in Feb 05 before our cruise. He is the one with the red sweat shirt under his robes.

I think Mark had the winter costumes. We were all dying of heat even with the light robes.

Hate to post a groundhog but just though you might be interested. We applied for the kids passports on August 31st. Got them today. So less than 2 weeks turn around. Pretty cool. They told us 6 months.

When DH got his passport, it arrived in about 2 weeks and somehow he found out that if one person pays for expedited service they take all the applications in that batch & expedite them. Sounds like this is what happened to you. I don't know that I'd count on it if I had a family of 5 applying at once and really needed the passports quickly, but if I had time I might try the experiment of paying for one in a batch and seeing what happened to the rest of the family's...

Crash, not sure they can do that.... They can get most of you at one server station but i believe from how we divied up peeps on the Dec trip, the max per wait station was 18 or 20. So your would be between a couple servers.

Dear John surprised me and took me into the jewelry store on Main Street. He bought me a beautiful 14 kt gold mickey ring to add to my collection.

So I had an "anniversey" celebrated a few days ago - and I'm readin' this and wonderin' why MY spouse didn't surprise me by taking ME to a nice camera store to pick up my Canon 40D DSLR? <snif>

Captain's dining here, so you wouldn't be alone. I agree, make it the 2nd formal night. And yes, definitely needs to be on the website.

As we're also now Captain's dining, you can count me in. It also means I will take both long dresses as only one would really work with a tiara. Will need to hop up into the loft & dig it out tho'. I only own one & I had it made for me when I got married, so it could do with a bit of dusting off!

I think I'm finally back among the living. The surgery went well, so I'm told....all wrapped in big huge bandages for now. Will get a cast put on on Monday...still non weight-bearing...and then 2-3 weeks after that, I'll get a walking cast/boot.
The pain isn't too bad, more uncomfortable than anything. The worst thing is that I've been terribly nauseus. Not the best way to lose weight.

Speaking of mini meets... I am thinkning about getting tix to Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana for Atlantic City, NJ for Sat Jan 5. We could do a mini meet at one of the Casino Hotel's indoor pools!
