Thank you Roger and Sara for the great pictures of Disneyland. I think I might have to rethink my plans for next year now!!!:goodvibes

Thanks Laura for the pictures of Arbua. I was considering a jeep tour.:thumbsup2 Is it a rough ride????:confused3

Great Pics, Roger. Did you use a tripod for the night shots? I'm especially fond of the sun wheel shot - very nice, indeed.

Yes it can be quite rough but the scenery is so worth it.

I take my tripod on cruises but have never taken it to DL. I am one of those people that see a shot and then look around for trash cans, rocks or fences to set my camera on. With some minor tweaks with coins, credit cards or clothing I can elevate it to the appropriate angle. Then I use the timer.

Roger...I KNEW you'd have some great pictures! Awesome!!
And you, too, Sara.....makes me really "homesick".
I want to go NOW.

LAURA! I demand that you remove the picture of my home in Aruba from a public website.....the stucco with the red roof.....

Yeah....someone wake me up, I'm dreaming again......:rotfl2:

Cheryl, I love the picture of you with the Mickey Bar. You have beautiful blue eyes!:wizard:

Wow, I was getting worried because I thought maybe you had become a squater in my home. I didn't remember putting it up for sale, either. :rotfl:

The picture I took of the castle, with the reflection.....that was last March when the kids and I went up for the Grand March Birthday Celebration with Todd and his family.
Everyone had left me....kids went back to the hotel....and the crowds were really thinning out.

I'd wanted to ride Peter Pan's Flight, but the kids wouldn't wait in the long lines. So I went back, stood in line and rode by myself. After, I walked through the castle, just wandering and remembering the times I'd gone as a kid with my family.

I happened to turn around and look at the castle and maybe even noticed for the first time that there are small stone benches in the wall along the bridge. Really just big enough for two people. So I sat for a while. I did what Roger was saying....I set my camera on the wall and took several shots, but that one was my favorite. It still isn't focused as well as it should be....but I like it. It makes me happy to look at it.

Our feelings exactly Stacey. Our annual passes start working again on Sunday, so we will be there for rope drop. I will try to take some general photos, seems most of my pictures are of my girls and characters. :confused3 We will be eating at Goofy's Kitchen for dinner so we will get some pictures of the food selections.

We will also be going to Wicked on Saturday so we have a busy weekend ahead of us. Next week the kids head back to school.

I'm trying really hard to still like you in spite of the fact that I'm GREEN with jealousy!!

I have to get my moneys worth out of my passes. I had a snafu on renewal last year and lost about a month and a half. So between now and February we will be visiting as much as possible. Think of it as a scouting mission for the March meet and TOAL pre-show.

ROGER!!!!!! Tell me it didn't take a whole month to get to Acapulco:eek:
That's my DD birthday and I promised her I'd be home by then!

Sara, those pics are great.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I'm not even sure us OU alums could handle a month-long tequila tasting.

Thanks! We did have the best time!!!! Disney did a wonderful job!!!!

If anyone has been considering doing an ABD I highly reccomend going on one! We hope to do another one soon!!! If I didn't already have over a month of trips planned/deposits paid for next year that is what we would be doing.....

Did it really feel like "Disney"?? That's the reason I'm a bit sceptical of ABD. Since you aren't IN the parks or ON the ships it seems like they would have a more difficult time making it 'magical'. I assume that I'm not alone that I pay extra for "Disney magic" when it would be cheaper to go to Six Flags or cruise Royal Caribbean.

No Enna, I am probably one of the few, but never had one!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
But I do plan on having one on the Magic next year:)

Announce that too loudly around here and you may find yourself on the plank with a Mickey Bar. Pirates seem to like Mickey Bars almost as much as cake.
