FYI...
In researching the additional fee I found on the Panama Canal website - http://www.pancanal.com/eng/maritime/tolls.html - the additional toll charge is based on a per berth not per passenger. The fee is $100 additional for 2007 and $115 for 2008. I have no problem spending $115 per berth for 2008, but $100 per person fee needs to be explained by DCL.

I think someone already responded on this - but "per berth" does pertain to "per individual" or "per bed" in maritime terms.
We should be thankful it was not "per alcholic drink" or "per rum serving" while in Panamainian waters, eh?

And on another NOTE... I just noticed my permanent restoration of funds for the theft attempt on my account. YAH! Myinitial submission of the paperwork was faxed incorrectly (by me - I have a new fax machine and I sent it wrong side scanning!).
