Hi Roger, I hope you all had a wonderful time at WDW! I love your picture from the Wonder.:)

On that note...I'm back to having fun...

....:cool2: , sk8 & the jonesing...getting together..any new secrets?
interesting tales? [not mentioned]..., jonesing...no one would ever
excused him of not being "colorful"..now if we could only tempt him
out of his shell?

i thought sk8 relvations were very positive...nothing makes a baby happier
then having tlc parents...hey, how's the boys tolerating the romps?
did you guys..."toured" the academy...used to be my home, before
getting marry...* one of my favorite "springs"...was visiting "norad"...
now they have the prefect "doors" ..for keeping unwanted co. &
mother-in-laws..from visiting..you think?

NORAD doors won't keep my MIL out - I tried...

Didn't get any jonesing deep dark secrets - they are both great! Although I was relieved when he showed up without his frying pan.

The boys are doing well on the trip - even having fun at times. Academy stuff is old-hat for them, we were stationed at CG Academy for 3 years. They used to march tours of our kitchen with a hockey-stick rifle over their shoulder (we left there when they were 3 & 5) DH's cadets called DS8 "Little Sir". DH always wanted to see AFA - got his appointment there 2 days after he accepted his spot at CGA. For the sake of 48 hours he could have spent 4 years there...

View from the shovel, axe, and hoe's new home...

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I rowed too, but attending a single sex school, well, the view wasn't quite so good. Had to wait for the major regattas for that.

I rowed for a while - never raced, just went out with DH. We joined a rowing club in San Diego. I loved the rowing, HATED carrying the stupid boat! We had a clunker of a boat, not a super-sleek super-light one.

OH MIL goes to the Ice Skating Museum all the time. Haven't been there and I was the one to tell her about it. She'd only be living there part time since about oh - years before that.

I discovered yesterday that I am IN the museum...sorta...
I was good enough to make the big competitions, but never good enough to place (lots of 4th in Nationals and silver medals from smaller competitions...) Anyway, when we were ther yesterday, there is a 1984 Nationals program in a display case, it is not open to my page in the display, but I'm in there!

I haven't downloaded it yet, but DH took a picture of me next to a dress on display because I competed against that dress!

Totally cheesy, I know, but I though it was fun.

Paula, hope you and your family are having a wonderful time in Hawaii. I feel like I need another vacation already. Take care and have a safe journy home.

Yep, me too....had to edit myself too much so I just deleted it.

Oh, and I'm on the list of those that can't what to see Nathanael's smile in person

As ya can tell I didnt get it fast enough.... maybe because I am so new with only 40 some posts! Ohh well!

I do agree with M and it was great meeting you and the rest of the famly!

Ok this is just weird. I'm watching (sort of) a show on Food Network and they are highlighting amusement park food. I'm not sure what park they are at, but they are showing taco pizza...it's got spicy ground beef, cheese, then lettuce is thrown on after the pizza cooks???? That's just too odd for me.

Thanks Roger--I have had plenty of those vacations where I need one after. We are relaxing and enjoying the beauty around us. Tomorrow we leave for Kauai for a week. The real world will be back for us then.:)

OK I'll say it...GABBIE GET OF YOUR HIGH HORSE.........there is more here than just JR. Therre is Todd and all his Graphics work...There was Lisa, till some chased here away, there is JUdy who set up the First Page and Countless others who have tried to help. Yes JR should get a thank you for his work but PLLLEEASEEE get of it because your not sounding very smart right now to the the rest of us that have helped or supported an know of these people who have performed other functions on this thread.

Of course maybe your really ******and just tring to start....after all you said you had under 50 posts....
Totally uncalled for. I thought we were dropping this and getting back to conversing with each other and stopping all the backstabbing?

Reminds me of the first ham and pinapple pizza we ate. It looked strange at first but really good. When you think of it, it is like one big taco but with a pizzacrust.
Used to go to a Pizza Place in NYC called Goldbergs Pizza. Yes Goldbergs. He had the strangest concoctions and piled the toppings so high that you had to eat it with utensils. (I remember one of the topping was smoked salmon and Cream Cheese with onions.)When DD was an infant we had a hankering for one of our fav and DH drove into the city from Bklyn and brought one home. It was so good.Wonder if he is still in business. It was in 1975. The pizza here down south leaves a lot to be desired.
