It's nice to be appreciated once in awhile; isn't it?

 Hi Brack. Didn't you go to bed 2 hours ago??

It is nice to be appreciated, but I don't need a fuss.

******NERD ALERT******
"Well behaved women seldom make history" - Laurel Thatcher Ulrich (historian)

She also said much of history can be described as a tribute to "the silent work of ordinary people"

Women behaving badly are primarily resposible for every major social movement in our history - veterans affairs and hospitals, abolition, settlement houses, mental health care, temperance (OK-our bad), suffrage, Red Cross, peace movement, anti-drug campaigns, drunk driving legislation, advancements in individual philanthropy...

This and other books by her and about her can be downloaded for free on the internet. She was the Co-Founder of The Salvation Army .... in 1865 England.

Brack...howyoudoooing?;)

I'm doing fair. It's 2:15AM here on the East Coast and I'm DISing ..... because this awful cough will not let me sleep. I am going to see the doctor in the morning.

I don't cough as much when I sit up so I will try to sit in my recliner and see if I can sleep.

First though ...... a little ketchup. :rolleyes1

TV at 2AM is really sad! I can't believe some of the stuff they try to sell. The really sad thing is that someone must buy this stuff or they would never do these "infomercials" :sad2:

My DS8 doesn't sleep much, never has. He gets up at 3-4 am and because we have a parental lock, he can only watch infomercials! It is great to be greeted in the morning with a litany of things we have to buy. He can usually rattle off the selling points and the price! "Three easy installments of..."

:scared1: I dontwanna know!

My favorite is the women sitting in a field eating Nads hair remover just to prove how natural it is!

Maybe I need to stay up late more often. I just found out I can be rich if I buy this man's book. Another guy can make me rich with his art of selling.

I can't believe how much I have missed out on by sleeping. :confused3

EEWWWW! :sad2:

I still say the real sad thing is that somebody buys this stuff!

Well I think I'll post a couple more meaningless posts and then try the recliner. Although right now JoJo has it taken. He is cutting up a bunch wood! :rotfl2:

I'm off to bed.
G'night Brack -I hope you feel better soon! :flower3:

There was a lot of excitment at work this week. The "Moves" came out. "Moves" are when some of the Officer's are transferred to another appointment. The ones in May are usually the larger number of moves. We call it the "Spring-time" of The Salvation Army.

We stopped at the McD's outside WDW one day last December. I ordered a sweet tea (a real Southern drink!) the snooty clerk informed me that they do not serve it.

I am surprised at that, At McD's here in Va unless you state unsweetened you get sweet tea. Also at Chick-fil-A unless you state it you get it sweet. I tried it once and YUK!!!!. I drink it straight black and my coffee is usually black unless if I order a latte.

 "Good Morning All"

Don't know what is going on, but it took nearly 30 minutes to get my computers up and running this morning, still having trouble with my laptop, so I'm signing on from my desktop today.

Cool! :thumbsup2

Good night Andy. I'm not going to be too far behind. I have told my office that I'm not coming in tomorrow. I'm staying home to try and kick this chest congestion. If not I'm off to see the doctor!

I hope you feel better soon Brack..........:goodvibes
