You my friends whose kids are still young....take time to enjoy each age because it goes so quickly. Now I know we all always hear that, but I'm here to tell you it is the absolute truth. And MR is nothing if not honest!! (don't you just hate it when people refer to themselves in the third person) :lmao: Seriously though cherish every moment even when they are bustin' your chops and they're on you very last nerve, because before you no it they're leaving you to go off to college.  (gee you think I'm having a rough time with this)?

Okay Girls strictly for shock value I want to mention that my new Dr. is female, but my last GYNO (the one who delivered my kids) was DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. That just isn't right! Anyone else have a handsome GYNO? :thumbsup2

Whatd'ya think of that question guys? :rotfl:
Mine is good looking too. I can send you a link to his pic. They have my drs office online. He's a really good person as well. He donates his time at a free clinic as well.

Hey Hey Hey what happens in chat STAYS in chat :rotfl:

And just for the record, I'll always have more material..........my hemmorroids for instance :rotfl:
Remember, mine is called Chad!!!

Arlene I was the highest when I went up. There were still stations selling gasoline for 2.89. I was 3.19 before I rasied. My cost when I raised was 3.1615 when I went to 3.39. 80% of of my gasoline is sold at the pump on credit and 95% of those have interchange/discount fees of 3-3.5%. So the cc companies make a little over 10c per gallon. And we get accused of gouging--we are just trying to make a living. I had no idea you worked at a station. What brand are you?:)

No, I work at a bank. Now I understand why all the reward programs give 3% back on gas purchases. The Hess station tonight went to 2.91 and the Mobil across the street was 2.95. Usually Racetrack is the lowest. I have to tell you a wild thing that happened to me at the Racetrack last year. The price was around 2.50ish. I started pumping gas and noticed the price was barely moving. Didn't think much of it as I sometimes zone out at the gas pump. Took my receipt and when I got home and went to enter the numbers in my check book that night I had to read it over and over. Apparently they set the price wrong and the gas went thru at .25 instead of 2.50.Someone was probably in deep doodoo that day:scared1:
Anyone else surprised at who was sent home on AI tonight? This will be an interesting final.
Well off the sleep. It has been an exhausting week. rain and hail, power loss Mon morning for 3 hrs which threw the morning off, resetting my alarm clock an hour wrong for Tues am causing me to get my pot luck stuff together pronto, and they are painting the building little by little at work so the paint fumes (which are very slight) are annoying and I have been fighting something all week. Started with a cold sore on my lip Fri.So I do need some real sleep.TTFN

OMG.. I am watching Jay Leno.. and the 2 girls on it is so stupid... be proud...

Wow Doreen you must be so proud of Jaclyn. Which school did she decide on? Taryn's graduation is June 25th. How about Jaclyn's? I must admit I feeling proud and sad and nostalgic all at the same time. And being in the waiting room tonight with all the Pregos made me downright depressed about how fast time passes.

Oh MR, you are so right. I"m crying at every thought of it.. She graduates June 9. A prom a ball and so many other things to get done before then.. She is going to MASSAGE THERAPY school.. She is so happy.. She was accepted to the 3 schools she applied to as well... Tonight, the seniors had to wear the cap and gowns.. so the tears were rolling.. Your right, you think when they are young.. will they ever be 18 and graduate?.. and then suddenly its the next day!!!

The kids are teasing me that at graduation the Principle will make an announement to say.. " excuse me ladies and Gentle man.. we need to pause for MRS Benedict to regain compouser and stop crying,,".. They are so funny.. but just in case a note to self.. (bring lots of tissues)..

Elaine's son graduates Sunday from college.. talk about fast as well...

We have gas at $3.05 for reg.

Our local gorcery store is doing a .10 credit for Sunoco gas for every $50 you spend and it can accumulate.. So today I have creidt for $.60 off per gallon..
it can go until July and then re accoumulate. Heck with a graduation party to host.. I should have $400 again so easy...

OMG! That guy had no business being up there. He was going to fall over from laughter with their answers! :lmao:

makes you wonder where do they get this people.
I like to watch the college kids and then wonder.. great.. our future!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Good night
Doreen

Fastest way to be booted from serving on a jury? Tell the judge "Sure I can be impartial your honor! Right up until it's time to convict and fry the guilty SOB!"

Hope you got the chance to fry someone! I was a jury foreman a few years ago and got to send some gang-banger to jail for assaulting a lady cop. I shouldn't be so proud, but after the trial, the judge talked to us and read us the list of the kid's priors (which the lawyers had agreed would not be raised in court since he was a juvenile at the time as long as the kid did not testify) and we all felt vindicated.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Well, after 6 hours I was dismissed.
I've been on two juries before. The last one was a gang member in Compton, (yes, that Compton), who robbed a convenience store. He actually took the whole cash register while looking up into the surveillance camera. And then dropped the register down the street without getting anything out of it. And there was still a fellow juror that didn't believe it was him, even though you could clearly see him on tape and read the tatoos he had on his neck. :scared1: :lmao:

Thanks for the map.

Don't think I shared with all of you, if I did, sorry for repeating, but I'm just so excited.

For my Med cruise, I had been planning on going to DL Paris for a few days prior. But had my car in the shop last week and it cost me a pretty penny. I was seriously considering cancelling the Paris part of my trip. Well, checking the DCL site I saw that the Cat 12 price had dropped drastically. So I switched my Cat 11 to a Cat 12 GTY (crossing fingers for an upgrade) and saved $2K. So all is right with the world and I'm still going to Paris!

Congratulations!!! I love found money!!! :cheer2:

I hope everyone has a very Happy Thursday!!!

the doc wasn't but the male nurse I had taking care of my episiotomy was so cute

Hey MR, just found out that my new man has a cordless blender. I told him that the blender goes on the cruise, whether or not he does! :rotfl:

EEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

Though a guy I used to work with said the doc told him he gave her an extra stitch and that my coworker would like the results... :sad2:

Say...

... I don't know whether anyone else has posted this yet - but this weekend (the 19th) appears to be the premier of POTC3 and at Disneyland they're running a fund raiser for the Make a Wish Foundation... one of the charitable groups that I favor... and seats are available at $1500 each if I read the promo correctly!? And since Disney is fully subsidizing the event 100% of the funds will go to the MAW Foundation. Anyone have interest in this???

I am departing for SF after lunch tomorrow (today) ... as our plans changed when we had a noon appointment cancel - thus freeing up some of our morning - otherwise we would have hit the road at 7AM. I'll be out of touch 99% of the time til monday evening... So... I'd like to offer everyone cordial good wishes for a wonderful weekend and happy birthday well wishes for all who are marking the ocassion in the days to come.

Here's the flyer...

You suppose I could get my 18.2V high speed DRILL BLENDER on the ship???

THis would be portable and I could play bartender anywhere and everywhere on the ship... plus everyone with a portable drill like this could bring thiers' along and have thier own portable blender at minimal cost!

<chuckles>

Thanks Lisa! That was really cute! And they danced to my namesake...can you beat it? But I still think the cha cha was better! :thumbsup2

The OB that delivered my son was a cutie! But when it came right down to the final moments...I didn't care if he looked like Brad Pitt or Mr. Hyde! I just grabbed him by the lapels of his pristine white coat and screamed in his face with my best Linda Blair impersonation...."GIVE ME DRUGS!!!!" :rotfl2:
