How did the pirate feel after drinking rum all night?
pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
Groggy!

We're going to resemble that remark! :rotfl:

Well crew, I'm signing off until Thursday. Gotta get up a o-dark-thirty to catch a flight. Tomorrow I'm delivering all my employee's performance reviews. Whooppeeeee.

Catch all y'all later!

It is in the news now.

He was one of a group the other guys referred to as "The Backstreet Boys". Five good-lookin', early 20's young men who always seemed to be together.

What these stories don't mention is that he married his 20yo wife last May and she is about three months pregnant...and a widow.

I'm still sick over this. We are having a family meeting with chaplains and counselors tonight. I know it will be good to go, but I am not looking forward to it.

I wondered if he had a wife because of something you posted but it wasn't noted in the paper. I will keep her & their child in my prayers.

Lisa, good luck with that. My kids didn't handle that really well. They always fought to ride shot gun. Funny thing is that DS is 2 years younger then DD but he is so much bigger that he could legally ride in front before she could.

DS seems to listen to reason pretty well...and DD can't do things like that if DS doesn't because she is smaller. ;) I just let DS stop using the booster seat a few months ago. He is 8 1/2 and pretty tall for his age. He knew that the booster made him safer. He saw the news one night when they were talking about a new law that if the police catch you not wearing a seatbelt, they will fine that person. DS is the first to tell his friends to buckle up in the car before we can go or they will have to pay the policeman a lot of money. :thumbsup2

p.s.. i :lmao: x 10, reading what you all were postings about the quel
music..esp., for shame lisa! ;) , killing the poor lil'beast! [ i bet your
husband can "preform" the best disappearing act around, huh? :thumbsup2

Trust me! Today was not a good one for the beast to be out and about. DH knows how to recognize those days by now.

Oh, grilled burgers. My grill still has 3 feet of snow on it.
Sign of spring - the weather lady almost did handsprings because they are predicting that we will get above freezing by the end of the week. Maybe even a high of 40 this weekend!

Spring here is yucky. 6 weeks of slush and mud. We call it "breakup". Everyone has a pair of breakup boots. Then we have "green day" when everything turns green and lush and beautiful in less than a week.

Just keep telling yourself that this is your last winter like this. Enjoy it while you can. I don't think that you will find a sled dog team in DC. :goodvibes

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

My DD slept with a Holly Hobby Doll and still has it!!!!:rotfl2: I do still have the Star Wars Orginal metal lunch box with thermos!!! Maybe I can retire with all this junk I saved.

I have a small Holly Hobby that a friend gave me in third grade when I was in the hospital for a month. I just gave it to DD. :)

WOW! I never expected to actually be able to read every single post after taking 4 days off here but I have now reached the end. Catch you guys in the afternoon. I have a meeting at the school in the morning.

Well staring at his hair did sort of distract me from his singing. Maybe it was a strategic move. :rotfl:

That is true! We were all laughing so much when he shook his head to make his hair move that we didn't hear him singing. :lmao:

I finally decided, I am not getting older, I am just aging like expensive champagne.:cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1:

See miracles do happen.:goodvibes You are all caught up.:lmao: Things have been quiet without you. Hope all goes well at school meeting.:flower3:

Good for you Andy! Can I offer you a couple of my 800mg Ibuprofens :lmao:

With all the walking in the parks, I was popping those like a madwoman. If I don't my legs swell up like balloons!

:lmao: I guess that is what exhaustion will do. ;)

Good point. The only other picture I have of them sharing a bed lately was after our Double Scoop cruise, the day room we had at the Hyatt. Exhaustion again!

As soon as they showed a glimpse of him before the break we all cracked up laughing. OMG can he get any weirder???

I said the same thing to DH! I was waiting for him to yell a hello out to his pet monkey!

Like this?

I beg to differ. They absolutely should join the military - otherwise they'd go broke moving all their stuff around! :rotfl:

I'll see your comic books, and 3 boxes of sentimental t-shirts, and raise you half of a 10x10 storage unit (which we rented for $100+/month) storing nothing but, you guessed it, EMPTY boxes!! You know the boxes - all the original packing materials for the TV, Stereo, bed, ...

Hee hee. I have the original box from everything I own! I've managed to do it without renting a space.

We have GOT to get our boys together.

We did at least warn them that the Nutcracker was going to be different. They had a tape of it running when we bought the tickets - so they knew what to expect. I emphasized, no singing, no talking, just dancing - are you sure you want to do this? (Buying tickets was their idea.)

Yeah, let's get our boys together...how do you feel about taking a cruise in Aug.'08?? ;)

We ended up with free tickets about 4 hours before the performance, so I didn't have much time to prepare them. I read the story in the program to them before it started, so they could follow it. I guess I failed to mention that there wouldn't be talking!

Want to feel old? Here's a pic of The Beaver, Wally and Eddie Haskell that I received from an online friend while I was at the docs. This pic is for those who remember who these three TV characters are(were).....................
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I must be gettin ready for a dirt nap..............I can remember all of them !!!

:confused3
