I think I have a problem-one of my firstgraders said to me "your a Disney fanatic!" and started laughing (as well as a few of the other kids!)....

Is it bad that my students know this?!

All this talk about Stinky Teens makes me wonder - when do they qualify for the title?? My DS 11 about to be 12 is really stinky and refuses to shower more than required - he is also entering the realm of smartness - I am getting dumber by the minute! At least I still have some smarts according to my 7 yr old DD - she trusted me to take her to Math Nite at school last night, I didn't embarass her one time

Fuuny you should mention laughter. One of our local radio stations has an "Impossible Question of the Day." Yesterday's question was, "the average woman does this 20 times a day, what is it?" No one got the answer yesterday morning, so it was extended to this morning's show. As I was pulling away in my work car, a woman called in with the correct answer, and yes the answer was "laughter." So, you are one laughter down, and 19 more to go for today!!!

My now 16 yr old dd thanks you!!!

She is our middle child -- 2 older and 2 younger. Her dad and older sister spent her b-day at HK Disneyland so, she is feeling a little sad. They should be calling any moment to wish her a Happy Birthday and hopefully they will lie and tell her they had a rotten time!

Seems like a lot of animal lovers here. I'm welcoming any suggestions regarding Morgan, our black and white Bearded Collie. He broke his right rear hind leg on Sunday. I was taking him, Bailey (our other Beardie), and my daughters out to my parents so they could play. Morgan was a rescue, so he's always been timid and he is a drool machine in cars because of his nervousness. Anyway, pulling into my parents driveway, I rolled the window down so he could drool outside the van and he jumped out. The Vet said his upper hind leg snapped with some fragments and that another area had a hairline fracture, but got the leg set. He's still at the vet's, but will come home either later today or tomorrow. Vet said that Morgan had to be immobilized for at least 3 weeks so that he doesn't put pressure on the leg. The best thoughts from the vet were keeping Morgan in a large crate. Any other ideas on immobilizing a dog?
