Been ok thank you, took DD to see doctor again Thursday in London and her Ear is healing very well, and now the repaired one has 10% better hearing than the untreated one.

So thats good news.

Hope everyone is great with you.

Great news. Glad DD is doing so well. Hope pretty soon she is feeling just pefect.

All I have to say is, Florida better be nice and warm when we get there as I am 98% packed for our trip (swimsuit, shorts, t-s**** and sandles). If all goes according to plan, we should be pulling out of here after I get home from work on Friday!!! :thumbsup2

Hazel is also about 98% packed, we just have to work on getting our "ST" packed, but between play practice and working now, most likely Hazel will be getting "ST" clothes packed............

Have a great one.

Just captured this pic of the Magic from the Radisson cam at 5:30 this morning.

Magic3-24-07530amradissoncam.jpg

Last cruise, DH got up for bathroom and we both sat on the verrandah watching the Wonder slip intothe port. It is amazingly quiet and all you hear are the gulls. The Ship moves so slow it barely makes a wake. By the way, filmed it as well.:thumbsup2

Thank you re posts re DD Alice's ears, basically the one operated on has improved whilst there is a SMALL chance of rejection, all seems ok and latest hearing test showed a great improvement.

The other ear, still is perferated and cannot be operated on for the time being, its stable but due to the location of a bone, will have to wait and see.

Thank you for your nice comments.

Good morning / afternoon folks! I am emerging from a long nite with a fussy 3 year old. And now I'l try my hand at the "scary 7 questions"....

And this weekend here's the latest installment of.....

question.gif

7 Scary Questions?

1) Do scary thoughts REALLY BOTHER you? If so then please feel free to skip the next 6 questions OR substitute "HAPPIEST" or "HAPPY" for the word "Scariest" or "scary" accordingly below and proceed!!!

2) What is all time scariest MOVIE you've seen?

3) What SCENE was the scariest to you?

4) What is the scariest thing you can imagine (OFF HAND) which is NOT from TV or a movie?

5) Ever have something scary happen to YOU in real life? Tell us a little of it if ya "dare"... ?

6) Can you recall something SCARY from your childhood? This may involve or be someone else's experience as opposed to something YOU are personally experiencing.

7) Would you like to GUESS what the NEXT respondant will say to ONE of these questions? If "yes"... then which Q and reply do you think they will have? Yeah... this is perhaps a tough one... but lets' see if anyone gets it! We'll be watchin' the editing times - and NO CHEATING with PMs and collusion folks!!! We got our eyes on you... :rolleyes

<chuckles>

My answers are as follows

#1....Nawww.... scary thoughts don't (bother me) or shake me up much. At least not to the point of completely avoiding them.

#2....Actually - the scariest movie for me was Jurassic Park. I used to have nightmares as a child where I was in my childhood home with a giant t-rex type creature stlaking around. The dream was limited to seeing hearing the creature stomping around circling the house and ocassionally I'd steal the courage to peek outside to sometimes see it and other times not see it.

#3....What SCENE??.... this is a little tough... but I'm gonna have to say when the Dinosaur was chasing the JEEP and snapping after the passengers soon AFTER it gobbled up the guy who was hiding in the out house. It real life right after the jeep chase my spouse and I both walked out of the theater (a first for either of us) and talked about it (smiling) for a while before we reentered to watch the end of the show.

#4....for me it probably is drowning... since it really happened to me in the family pool. Obviously I survived... however, my siblings maintain I sufferred some brain damage. ;)

#5.... OK... I just shared something real... so I'll share another, Hmmm,... lets' see... here's one that is kind of relevant to our thread. I was driving to meet a Disney Cruise and hurricane Francis was raging near Jacksonville. We had just flown into Charlotte as that was the closest we could get - everything else was closed south of us - and we drove near 200 miles to get to Jacksonville so we could make the promised embarkation the next morning - and in the final 40-60 miles the storm intensified just outside of Jacksonville - and we were one of just a few who were driving INTO the storm... and precious few were driving away too. THAT was a lot more scary to me then I care to repeat. IE, being from the west coast I had no idea of what came to pass - and I'll not be repeating anything like that any time soon. But we would still travel to make a Disney cruise threated by hurricane. I'd just not creep so close to the storm the nite of landfall!!! We had a great cruise and amazing incentives from DCL! It was technically FREE and we got back a K in benefits from one POV.

#6....Well, I already mentioned something scary from my childhood (Dino stalking)... so I'll simply say I'm startled my spiders. Not to say I don't "elimenate them when I find them - ust that they still make my skin crawl - just as hen I was small.

#7....Now here is the "fun" question. I'm gonna say the next respondant is gonna respond to question #1 the same as me... and they tolerate scary movies and things OK enuf to chat about 'em. And just for the record (in a gesture of support for those who feel otherwise)... my spouse would definately answer question #1 with a "NO" and would not discuss scary things and she'd convert every question to a "happy" oriented question. Besides, she refuses to watch any scary movies so she would have a limited range of resonses for the movie oriented queries....

So there! Who is next???

OK...

... my spouse just figured out the little one has a FEVER. So - her comments about having hearing issues last nite were not mistaken. I missed that when dealing with the scared feelings issues. I was soooo wacked at one point I was NOT thinking straight at all. Now it all rushes back to me in SHARP FOCUS as to why the little one insisted on being held so much by me last nite.

SO, we have a doctors appointment in 37 minutes. Plus I'm waiting for an Express Mail package this morning - so I'll have to see what comes of the plans for who goes or not with her to the doc. :surfweb:

Happy Saturday gang! It's a Taekwondo, water polo filled day for us today but I wanted to stop in and say :wave2: I hope everyone had a great week. Mine was super busy with work so I am so glad it's finally the weekend.

Andrew I am glad to hear about your DD's continued improvement. I will keep good thoughts and prayers for her.

Hey Crash! I think the movie that scared me the most was "Poltergeist". I was a senior in high school and thought I was too cool to be scared, but it really spooked me. I have to say although it might not be the scariest thing I've ever seen in a movie, the scene in "Alien" when the little alien popped out of John Hurt's stomach is something that always makes me jump.

[no wonder, they're always practicing, and going around saying,

Pete took the stitches out tonight. The gaping hole in my face is now being held together by some strips of paper. Eye is still purple, but all in all I'm doing great. Thanks. Jack

WOW!???

Clearly I think I might have missed (or it slipped my mind - which is not all that unusual now-a-days) something here. Just the same though, I'd like to offer our belated "get well soon" wishes...

Hope she feels better soon!

She's sittin' on my lap now drinking from a Jama juice cup seemingly half her size ... and in a moment she'll be getting a bit of chicken noodle soup. Her spirits are tolerable now - but last nite it was actually pretty "extreme". Easily qualifying as a tough nite for my spouse and I.

Thanks for your supportive thoughts ... it's appreciated!

Wish you all the best CC.

You're much more optimistic then I am. I don't think we're going to start seeing room assignments until at least 90 days out.

If we don't get room assignments until 90 days out I'm probably gonna be ....

OK... I guess we're all going to see the doc this morning. OK...

Gotta go now,

Maybe I'll be on later today, eh?

Remember to pack lots of towels for those water polo ponies! :)

:coffee: Hey everybody!

Sunny and bright here today in the mountains. And most of the stinkin' s**w is but a distant memory! Off to do some cleaning and stuff. Have a great day everyone!

:wave2: Hi Diane! Remember long ago we got to talking about the interactive Stitch? Well, I managed to get one for my DD on eBay and she'll be  when I give it to her for her b-day on Friday. :woohoo: Rack up another 'awesome' mom point. :rotfl2:

Way to go! That's definitely worth some "awesome mom" points!

OK...

... at my insistance I had Alicia go on ahead with the feverish little one cuz the mail truck was pulling up. My express mail has arrived! And now I am on my way out with the older daughter to lend a supportive hand at the doctors...

Have a great afternoon folks...

Andrew

Thanks for the Doctor Who photo - my DD7 is NOT at all impressed that he's kissing his assistant.
