8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 10

In many ways, the EB would have been much better for us. The problem is, the company I work for has a collective bargaining agreement expiring in September of 2008, which means probably intense negotiations around that time, and I am our negotiator.

While the contract could be all wrapped up by then, I can't take that chance, as my boss (company owner) will tell me I was a fool for booking and make me stay home if negotiations are ongoing. So we made the tough choice to pull DD (2nd grade next year) out of school for the May repo. Unfortunately, our Geek friends got split up between the two repos. You guys look like you have a great group though, and I sure wish I could join you too!

I didn't like the road to Hana--DH and I argued (probably mostly me) almost that whole day. He drove entirely way to fast on those one lane curves and bridges. Of course it was our last day and sometimes I can get a little b***** on the last day. The waterfalls were pretty.

I loved Volcano National Park. The lava flow was so neat. Warning don't hike in flip flops (I did).

You would have REALLY hated me. I drove the rental car all the way around, you know, the "rental car contract is void" area , and it was a mustang! Not may fault...that it was a mustang anyway...I asked for a jeep, but the wild fires closed the road that circles over to Lahaini side and the company was short on jeeps. I never saw as many locals giving me the "hang loose" sign as on that stretch. Probably laughing their butts off as they passed. I white knuckled the whole way. DW was a good sport about it, mainly because she saw that I was already pretty PO'd at myself. It was pretty on that side though, and a jeep would do alright, but bottomed the Mustang out a couple of times.

And it was DCL's first time ever in St Kitt's. Imagine the impression that left. Mickey and Mr. McAlpin were out there waving at the islanders.....and so was someone's underwear!

The Moms said "You aren't really going to lean over and take a picture, are you?" Yep....and I'm gonna post it on the web for the world to see! They deserve it.

NOTE: Although I find myself checking out the Jasmine's out here in DL all the time, somehow they seem to get just a little tighter in the top area and a little toner in the abs - - a little risque for the little kids I think! One day I'm gong to laugh if I catch a little boy putting hit hand down her top!!!

As for me - Disney does not recipercate with the Aladdins - must have something to do with the wig or something! Humph!!!
