8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 10

This will be our first trip to Hawaii.
We are staying on Wakiki Beach for 1/2 the trip (the other 1/2 in Maui). Basically because we can't beat the price. The Army owns a resort on Waikiki (next to the Hilton) so we are paying $120 a night for an oceanview room.

I'm a history nerd, so I am really looking forward to Pearl Harbor. I am also really excited about the Atlantis Submarine Tour in Honolulu. I was on the fence about going, but we can buy military discount tickets fom about $100 for all 4 of us AND one of the artificial reefs they pass on the tour is the sunken USS San Pedro. That's the ship my grandpa served on during WWII!

We stayed in Hon. 1 night just to fly in to Big Island next afternoon. I reslly enjoyed seeing PH. It was very moving. You will have a wonderful vacation. We also stayed 5 nights in Maui, it was wonderful.

We have four trips in the works between now and this cruise, none nearly as exciting and exotic as most of yours. Well, maybe Turks and Caicos will be pretty cool.

On the London trains in rush hour they pack people in, now if they were animals, there would be an outcry.

My poor innocent Mom once asked the difference between regular vanilla ice cream and French vanilla ice cream. I guess I forgot who I was talking to when the answer popped out of my mouth......French vanilla has tongue in it.
She was not amused.

I'm with Paula on this one -- I love to plan -- it's truly almost as fun as actually being on the trip, and lasts much longer . . . I would hate a package holiday because it would rob me of all the fun of planning (not to mention I like to be in control and do things my way!).

I am usually about 2 years out. Makes it much easier to pay for everyhing also.

Agree but planning for seven Med ports and all the things I want to see is a juggling act.

The juggling is fun, though! I get lost in the planning and feel like I'm already making my way through the Roman Forum to the Pantheon . . .

What time are walkies???? Two walkies have already happened -- another will come up in about 2 1/2 hours -- then one more before bed. More exercise than you are getting today, I would guess!

That would be a tough one! I really wanted to do one of those, but when I added in the airfare it was too much. Hopefully, we will be able to next time they go.

i'll have to ketchup again in awhile. I just finished stuffing little Easter eggs with baby chicks for our Easter cruise. I sure hope we have some traffic by our door that day. I did 48 of them and also some Easter pencils. We are in the SPH rooms, so I hope they all get taken. I tied a pretty green ribbon to the basket.

Hazel and Angelina went to the mall, Angelina was in one of her moods, so I stayed home and finished moving all the clocks ahead, this should really get Hazel guessing when they get home.

The only clocks I didn't change were the ones on the computers and the VCR, hopefully they will change overnight.............

Having a teenage girl is such a BLESSING, especially when she has PMS!!!!!
