I agree with that.

We would also want t-****s either for Christmas or just in time for the cruise.

Will there be kid sizes for the tees?

There are kids sizes - though I didn't think to ask if they were a different price. I sent him an email today. I also asked about tank tops (great idea!). And mugs.

Just to clarify - "Just In Time" means we'd probably order in May, with the goal of having the shirts in your hands by early July. I'd be uncomfortable getting shirts to you any later than that. "Christmas" means the shirts are in your hands in November.

A commercial printing company may have problems printing copyright images (like Mickey Mouse)

The owner of the shop has seen the artwork - the signature banner - and is OK with it. It's one of the reasons we're getting quotes from him. ;)

Problem is she will have to bring along her smilies!

Guess I better start making the cue cards now! ;)
Oh....and someone needs to volunteer to shuffle them every once in a while! I'll be digging around saying "darn, where's that :cake: smilie...it was right on top"!!

I had just read in an article to rinse it with sea water first, then vinegar, and then to apply cortisone cream. They say it works like a charm. Not about to use "that other method"!
So I'll be picking up a small bottle of vinegar when we arrive in Turks and Caicos. Plus the vinegar helps make a sunburn feel better.

We dive in Jamaica and the locals use Overproof Rum on stings.

Notice? No "this is business" alert on this one... ;)

My brother and SIL went to LV for a Wedding and got tickets to Zumanity... for them and for my brother's MIL. Well, she asked to go when she heard it was a Cirque show. They said, don't you want to know what it is? She said, "Nah". And they didn't tell her - they just took her! :lmao: :lmao:

I'll bet she was surprised! Of course there are plenty of warnings (no one under 21 allowed) as you go it - so she probably hada bit of a hint. :rotfl2: DH and I saw it a couple of years ago. We really enjoyed it, but you're better knowing what you're getting into before going.

Happy St. Patricks Day

DH and I are both divers. He's been stung a few times. The 'other' treatment is for when nothing else is available. Either vinegar or ammonia do the trick. When DD was stung at CC, the lifeguard tried vinegar. It did nothing. She was stung just above her wrist and the swelling started to spread in both directions. We then went to First Aid and he used the ammonia, followed by the cortisone cream. Within a few minutes the swelling started to go down and DD didn't complain about the pain anymore. Benadryl also helps if there is an allergic reaction. There is an over the counter treatment, Sting Away. It's all natural, no alcohol. We carry it in our dive bag and fortunately have not had to use it personally. Those who have used it are quite pleased!!!

I have packets of something similar in our snorkel bag too, but we've (knock on wood!) never had to use it. I totally forgot I had it in there.

I sometimes share your frustration. Sometime times I'm in the mood to chat. And sometimes I just want to get down to business. My mood is generally directly related to the amount of time I have to spend here. :)

I think there is an easy solution to this problem.

If we could all agree to mark the title of any posting we do that contains cruise stuff (or business) with the triangle ! post icon (see the bottom of your reply window) then it will be easy for those who just want to get down to business to find the important bits as they skim through.

This also takes some of the pressure off Lisa to find and post all the important bits to our summary. Or it at least makes it easier for her to find them...

:thumbsup2

I think that is a great idea:idea:

 Hi All

We're back home, it was a mess getting to the mall, so I'm glad we decided to stay there and wait, was much easier getting home as the sun had melted a lot of the icy mess from the roads.

Angelina turned her slip for vacation to the assistant manager, and she has to wait until the manager approves the time off, but the assistant manager didn't see a problem since the vacation was already planned before she was hired.

Angelina will be working three days this coming week, today was a training session held in the back of the store. Hazel and I did see two parties being held in the store while we were walking around. Angelina said one party had 20 girls from a Brownie Troup, the other party had about 10 kids.

Well, time to play ketchup, have six pages to go back and read over. ;)

Here's a little something for all our friends still blanketed. Yes, spring will come. (Took these in our yard, just now.)

Our container of Tulips from the front porch. Daffodils are pretty much done around here.

This is our Asian Pear tree. Looks like we may get a good crop this year. Provided I can keep the squirels from getting them first! Last year I didn't net the tree because we had a good crop and I didn't mind sharing. Did they save me even one? NO!! This year, the tree gets netted.

Here's one of our apple trees. And the grape on the fence behind is starting to leaf out too. Those grapes grow like crazy things. You can sit in a lawn chair and watch them - nearly. About 4" a day once they get started.

Here's our plum tree. I really should have taken a picture of it last week when it was in full bloom. The flowers blew away this week like a fall of warm s**w.

Here's hoping your days are soon filled with warm s**w as well.

Hey Cap'n,

Looks like I'll be getting my Jack the Monkey pirate: for my birthday next month. Angelina gets 20% discount working at Build-a-Bear. Angelina told the assistant manager we were going on a cruise in August 2008 and our cruise had a pirate: theme, and that I wanted a monkey in pirate: gear. Angelina said the assistant manager thought that was cute and chuckled. ;)

Andy, glad Angelina's orientation went well!! :thumbsup2

Just thought I'd stop in and say hi...gotta get busy.
Everyone have a great Saturday, and a great St. Patrick's Day!! :thumbsup2
