What a lovely yard you have! We don't really experience the change of seasons much here in California. It is very slight because our weather is so consistent. Although I love the temperate weather, it would be nice to have the fall colors and spring bloom that other areas enjoy.

IKWYM about change of seasons. I've lived most of my life in the northeast and I don't think I could ever leave and not badly miss the changing. Fall is by far my favorite, followed by spring, summer and then winter.

Gotta say I would NOT miss the season. My yard looks atrocious right now. Landscaping guys are coming next week to help clean it up a bit, but ye gads. . . We had 82 degrees here on Thursday .. .the flowers were blooming .. the birds were chirping . . .and then . . it rained and rained and now it's even snow flurries!! It got down to the low 20's last night. That's over a 60 degree temp change in two days! My poor flowers do NOT look happy. So a relatively continues temperament would be a welcome change to the rollercoaster we experience here!
