OK, when does the weekend start?? Busy busy busy.
M, you can't use your WDW AP's at DL. You can only use days from WDW Magic Your Way tickets. If there are parkhoppers you get that at DL--if not only single park admissions.
Our flight home after the cruise isn't until about 7 pm, so we're heading to MK for a few hours, thus the need for our WDW APs.
Needless to say... it is MANDATORY that everyone wear tropical garb - preferably Disney inspired tropical wear otherwise one risks being served rocks and dusty sand during the party....
But will the rocks turn into those hermit crab thingies??
M -- find a REAL drama class for him. Taught by someone with a degree in Theater or with lots of theater experience. It can make such a difference!
His camp last year was taught by a real theater guy and DS loved it, but didn't want to sign up again. Trust me, we both tried to convince him. I don't know what his deal is. I think it may be that girls out numbered boys about 10-1. Maybe he has some messed up idea that it is girly? Who knows. The DH of one of my co-workers just earned his PhD in theater - he mainly does combat choreography, so I'm going to try to get DS with him for a while.
That reminds me, last weekend I got one of those extendy folder thingys. It opens and has several slots for papers etc. It has 13 slots so I have labeled them things such as Transportation to LA, transfers, onboard info, Disney World etc. So my WDW APs are already in the WDW section. I also have a section for each port where I have printed out the helpful hints etc.
It is very nice to keep me organized and I can put important things in it and know that they are safe!
And, yes, I started a spreadsheep too with all my clothes etc.
Good idea on the folder thingy. I have a binder, but the passports, APs, etc. are in the safe until we are close to leaving.
When I was that age I got grounded from the library for a week......... I was 15min late for dinner because I lost track of time at the library..... It was a block from our house.
My 5th grade teacher actually took books away from me! I was not allowed to have a leisure reading book in my desk, because I would rush through my school work so I could get back to my book!
I'm always reading at least 2 books and a magazine.
We probably have the same outfits! Are they the blue "Mickey Postcard" print?
I have that one as well.
I've got the black and white mickey tropical print skirt from a few years back. Hoping that's out of date enough not to run into too many! Altough, it would make a fun picture to have all the people in the matching shirts/dresses together!
Yup, I have that skirt too, but I don't think I'm bringing it.
Wow, everyone is in such planning mode. I can't seem to get there totally, since life is taking up a big portion of my time. We have our oldest DS's wedding this saturday. DH and I found out we are going to be grandparents. Hooray!! Now I can start taking grandkids on cruises. My brother is getting married the following saturday. We also volunteer for boyscout fundraisers alot during the summer months. I can not wait until this cruise.
I did order the t-*****s and some totes. I need to do alot more though.
Welcome to all newcomers. Happy Birthday's to all I've missed.
WOW! Congratulations...many times over!
Yup. Got the sundress.
I told Katherine that from the very beginning that she should not volunteer to help with any *man chores* because she is a GIRL. And if she helps once then her dh will expect her to always help.
I can fix a leaky faucet, install a toilet, change a tire and the oil in my car, install a ceiling fan, re-wire my dryer, install laminate flooring, drywall...but I have never, in my entire life, ever, cut the grass!
I told Kevin "We'd look like part of the entertainment!"
That's OK, on formal night, DH will look like the waitstaff.
Brendan and I bought booney hats made by columbia...they are light weight and are actually comfortable!
We are going to take them to WDW in a few days for a test run...
Chrissie
LOVE my Columbia boonie hat!
Hey Chrissie - we can wear them with our Mickey dresses!
I just heard from
DCL that they
will not be having When Mickey Dreams on our cruise.
Well that's a bummer.
I have been looking at it for several weeks and my credit card was empty
Like serving dishes and wine glasses, credit cards should never be empty.
(Disclaimer: OK, I'm a PIF 2x a month kind girl, but that also means there is always room on my card if I ever want to jet off to Paris or something. I also always have a bottle of champaign in my fridge, in case we have something to celebrate.)
Of course you can wear it both nights! It's a
Disney cruise -- wear a tiara every night if you want . . .
I may just wear mine to the pool...depends on how many tastings we have scheduled for one day.
