Happy Fathers day to all Dads out there!!

SCORED big time at Walgreens today.
I saw in the paper that they had my new best friend, Neutrogena sunscreen spray on sale. Now, the sale price was the normal Wal Mart price but.... they had a "free with purchase" suncreen stick which normally goes for $8.00 by itself. Then... when I went to pay I chose the 70 spf (can't be too sure) which had a free sample tube attached and..... the cashier gave me the price for the 45 spf (saved $1.00 per bottle) and wait that's not all... She also had $2.00 off coupons for each bottle!!! Soooo I got 3 bottles of 70 spf Neutrogena spray sunscreen, 3 full size suncreen sticks, and 3 samples tubes for a grand total of $16.50. Yay me!!!!

Went to Limited Too to buy some more clothes for the girls. Megan left for tennis camp this afternoon and I was scrambling to find enough shorts for her. Found out later there were about 6 pair of shorts in the ever growing plie of dirty laundry. Oops! Oh well- Got them on SALE w/ an extra 25% coupon!! :woohoo:
Last stop was Eddie Bauer. They had some nice wicking shirts on sale starting tomorrow. I went by to beg them to sell them to me today at the sale price and caught the manager marking them down as I was there so I got the hassle free sale price!! :cool1:

Wasn't too bad...except for the studios on Friday..(Star Wars Weekends) that was insane!

If you don't have ADR's don't plan on actually having a sit down meal...we had a few and when we decided to add more (against my suggestions) there was NOTHING available!(we heard at many places while waiting for our adr's peopl complaining that nothing was available as well!)

If you plan on going to the SW Weekends..have patience...lines for the characters were very ,long and so were the lines for the special merchandise if you weren't there early! The place was packed anyway...Make sure you get a FP for Toy Story..awesome ride!

MK and EC were not bad...longest line was 20 mins (and I think that was an exaggeration). It stormed at least once a day for maybe and hour or less..but it was quite delightful the rest of the day...

Where can I park my car?

Valet parking is available for $14/day. Self-parking is free, and the lot is located across Disneyland Drive. If you're checking in and wish to self-park, it's easiest to proceed to the resort's entrance, tell the attendants you are checking in and wish to self park, then go inside and check in. At check in you'll receive a parking pass, and at that point you can go out and move your car to the self-parking lot. It's about a 5-minute walk to the hotel entrance.

What is this "Resort Fee?"

The $11.00/day resort fee covers the daily newspaper delivery, local calls, self-parking, high speed internet access and use of the Fitness Center.

Which airline are you flying with?

We are flying on Alaska. The fare from Seattle to Orange County leaving on Aug. 13 was $119.00 + tax, so total of $129.50. My DH can't come until Saturday, and his ticket went up. The fare was on their website.

... the ship always sails away or around bad weather, however... if you meant to say - how likely it would be for our voyage to BE INFLUENCED by bad weather while enroute? Well... it IS hurricane season while we're sailing - and as we draw into the Carib the season is waning... I would say it is minimal however a remote possibility. However, any hurricane would have to directly cross our path at about the right time! Whenever possible - they would simply adjust the port rotation or route - and we'd be mostly fine I'd say... however... here is some data for your consideration:

I see here proof positive that we are experiencing global cooling - look how things have cooled down since 1969! Obvioulsy we have nothing to worry about on this cruise - I know for a fact that even 1969, the worst year on record for storms, had no impact on Disney Cruise Line!

For those of you that are driving / parking at the DL hotels the resort fee has just increased to $12 per night, plus tax = $13.80 per night

Trying to get things wound up from the weekend.
Of course I did not get everything I wanted done. :( Seems like never do.It completely does not seem like we are going to WDW on Sat bright and early. I have nothing packed, laundry not done and house sitter does not come until tomorrow to meet animals add get instructions.
I definitely need to get on the ball this week.
