My sister was able to book my niece and her family (4) on the cruise today! They are a category 9 as of now. It is their first Disney cruise
Last week I was able to move one of our cabins closer to our other 3, so now all 4 are near the aft on deck 7!

Regarding the FE's - do you pick the day(s) that you gift everybody, or are you given a date? I love the idea of it, but am a bit overwhelmed at the numbers. We did a gift exchange on our 05 Mex Riv cruise, just before the sailaway party and it was so fun, but it was only about 35 ppl. I love some of the pix of the homemade and purchased ones...sooo cute!

The suspense is killing me. My staff have absolutely forbidden me to set foot on the other side of this building, the school gym. Their decorations are being kept "top secret" for tonight.

However, they did let me get into the church to see the floral arrangement that they had made for this evening:

Steph...THANKS SO MUCH!!! I want to make ours; you know just because it's a TOAL and I want to put that effort into it; but it IS a bit intimidating to see what other "real seamtresses" can do I really do want to make ours; even if it's not as awesome as all the others.......but I'd like to see all those cool ones so I can come up with some design of our own so I'm GRATEFUL to see others that can "hey....don't look too close at the stitching"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you're awesome so thanks for havin' my back

I believe we are doing it free style!!! Who knows what day we are all doing what. I usually take a few days to give them out whenever I can't sleep at night!! It is surprising how long to find some of the rooms that are forward!!

Shame they didn't include any Anthoriums... (too phallic for an altar i guess )

I agree Arlene - We all have ours but a friend that is also on the EB is dragging her feet on getting them. I keep telling them they are mandatory, because I thought they were because of South America. I don't want to hear it if they really aren't.

We just went ahead and got ours. Figured we'd most likely need them by the time we take our next cruise anyway.

Just a question..were they able to give you a cabin number on the deck 7 cabins? or just gty? I have been trying to move my Mom but DCL insists they can't give me a cabin number (she does already have one on deck 6)..just curious

That's great about your sisters family! DH still is trying to figure out a way for oldest DS (and oldest dd) to come with us! LOL! He told our son that mayb he could work all the Saturdays for the rest of the year. Oldest ds won't hae any vacation time after July since he'll be out of town for 2wks (and that trip is with middle dd!)......

FE gifts. I give out mine whenever I have some down time! LOL!

I DO TOO....my "extra bedroom/playroom" has tink on the walls, tink lamps, tink knick knacks, and a couple "cells" from DisWorld from past trips (one hand drawn and one color cell) that "I THOUGHT WOULD BE NICE FOR MY GIRLS" (which is to say mama wanted a room with tink and used the kids for an excuse!)

Her and her dh own a 3 bdrm so, they each get their *own* room to *play in*. Hers is Tink green. I don't think her dh has even noticed the Disney/Tink stuff!! I've bpught her some Tink thngs (Tink on canvas, etc..) and she bought a couple of nice prints on our 10 nt Southern cruise.
Her Dis name is Tink09 (her screen names always have a 9* n them for Mike Madono!)

I can't believe that there is so much kerfuffle about the passports. One would think that DCL would get this issue cleared up. Seems that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing there some days. The info packet we got awhile ago states that both the WB and EB Repo passengers require passports.

After waiting all this time, I won't like to find out the hard way that I required it once I got to the Port. It's a fact of life post 9/11 that you need a Passport. If you don't require it yet, you will in the very near future.

I will periodically post the list and will revise as cabin assignments come in​

As a reminder: this is not a competition, and no one will judge the quality/quantity of your gifts, if you choose to give them out . . . it is about having fun and getting surprises in your fish extender. All you are promising when you sign up is that you will have something with pockets hanging on the metal fish outside your cabin door and would accept/appreciate goodies being left for you. I will also post on the pirate zone planning boards, but would prefer getting PMs here with the information.

A final list, organized by floor, will be available by a week or so before the cruise. Any last minute cabin reassignments/upgrades can be listed on my cabin door (6050) during the cruise.

On the Med cruise I was on last year, we assigned days to give out our FE gifts, so that things would be distributed throughout the cruise. However, I have found that this group of pirates doesn't like to be told what to do and when to do it so everyone can hand out when they would like, and take as long as they would like.

There is a list, being posted every few days (most recently, this morning). PM me if you want to participate. There are about 90 cabins involved now, so most people are planning for about 100 cabins.

I Brett Hull...... Dh bought me a FANTASTIC framed picture of him as a child with his older brother & father in their Blackhawk uniforms on the ice!

I actually cried when Dallas got rid of him -- he had even said that he would take a pay cut to stay here! He is here now and works for the team.

DH collects signed jersey's. He only has a few framed (DD got them framed for him as a gift).

The only sport we watch is Hockey -- dh grew up playing Ice hockey in LA. We had season tickets to the Stars for years.
