Yes the 19th is a confusing point, I would read it as ''paid by'' the same as reservations start at 00.01 19th, so PIF is by 00.01 19th.I would have thought, they wouldn't automatically cancel without a warning, not sure if they would have sent that out a day or so in advance, if you do not PIF, you loose your deposit and they can resell so they win on that so maybe a days grace.

On Staterooms, this is a different cruise and the highlight is panama day, we have just seen the benefits of a verandah again from the transit on Friday, from a good viewing points to protection from the sun, not having to sleep out all night to snag a viewing point to air conditioning, so whilst on standard cruises verandahs are less of a necessity and more of a luxury, they do come into there own on this one.

Well, we may never know how the date works. It will be interesting to see how cabin availability is Monday and Tuesday - perhaps we can guess from that.

I can see the value of having a Veranda on this one. Yet at the same time, the added cost would be quite substantial for a relatively few hours of comfort. We'll see - If I'm wrong, there's always 2010 or 11 - by then presumably the Magic or Wonder will pay another West Coast visit (or maybe be home ported here????)

We will see the cabin availability peak this weekend, a couple more say early next week, as the last few pay up or cancel.

I think you will get one of the ships ported at LA, it will be one of the older ones magic or Wonder and it will be there on a permanent basis, thats nearly a done deal.

Now 2010 its 50/50 IMHO West coast and LA or the Med, -West coast to build up custom before a ship is based there, or the Med to push out for three DCL zones, Caribbean with two ships LA with one and Europe with one in the summer.

Have a great Sunday

We cruised with Ducky Williams back in August 2004 and each cabin received one copy of his litho. We have ours proudly displayed on our livingroom wall. With a couple of other Ducky's lithos that we have purchased since then.

You are lucky to have been able to buy some as well! As well as the one I got on the repo last August, I did win one at Bingo . . .

Do we know for sure if Ducky will be on our cruise?

I thought someone had spoken to him on a cruise and reported he planned to be on it?

Was able to book a room three weeks ago and now am trying to catch up on all of the planning... 3 months and counting.... :cool1:

Welcome!!!

Hi -

I'm back in L.A. & I've tried to ketchup - I'm becomiing adept at skimming!!

Anyway - I"ve requested 8/23 for the Wench's Brunch. DCL Inventory Contro will not notify me until the 30 day mark.

Is the PJ Breakfast & the Brunch that much of a conflict?? There will only be 14 of us at brunch - what time if the breakfast? We 14 might just have a cup of coffee and save our appetites for the brunch??!!

Hi Chris;

Hope things get back to normal for you! I'll keep my fingers crossed that we get that Palo brunch . . .

I'm off soon to do a 10K AIDS walk in Central Park with my oldest daughter and two of her friends. The weather should be fine this morning, but we expect rain this afternoon -- hopefully it will wait until after the post-walk concert and big announcement of the amount raised, at 3 PM. Hope everyone has a good Sunday and see you TONIGHT!!!!:scared1:

WELCOME!!!

M, the wine packages from the first night are all locked up but I was told the prices - for the classic package for a 7 day is $189 and the 7 day premium is $293. For the 15 day he told me that if you ordered on the FIRST DAY only - you got 14 bottles plus 1 bottle free to make 15. If it is not ordered then you only get the 14 if ordered on another day. The price for the classic is. $374. The Premium is $578. I managed to reappropriate a 7-day pamphlet (;) ) which I can post the wines later. But they've got the white wines and sparkiling wines and red wines. Any one in particular you are looking for - just pm with me your favorite. I am trying to locate an opening day pamphlet.

Thanks Laura! :flower3:

Ah, and what picture is yours?

It's not Scotland. Well it sort of is...but I hope the bit of line would leave ya to think nautical. It is the nautical signal flag for the letter "M." And St. Andrew's flag - my oldest DS (the Andrew part, not the saint part:))

Better not let Todd here you talk like that

Knee up, knee down. What's the difference? :confused3

I'm so proud of Jordan. She was barefoot and lifting one end of the sofa when the thing ran across her toes. She didn't drop the sofa on me!!
That's some wench there:thumbsup2 ;) :lmao:
I gotta teach my DD not to drop things on me too

Okay, you guys HAD to know this was coming....our little mouse...
And I just may mail it to BIP.....lobster...:sad2:

Ohhhhh, so cute:cutie:

Glad I was not seeing things. ;)
:thumbsup2
I printed a copy as evidence;)

In just 24 hours, I'll be sitting around thinking that I really want to go to bed...but I can't.

Aaawwwww.

He's kinda cute since he's running around in someone else's house!
Yeah I was thinking that too. I wonder if my cats would be able to catch one:confused:

Y'all gotta let me win since it will be my birthday. :lmao:
Good to know you'll have plenty of ice cream on your birthday:thumbsup2
Now if we had a contest on who could eat the slowest my DD would win.

Scattered thunder showers predicted tomorrow. Anyone care to wager on when my power will go out??

My money is on 11:58 p.m.
Nooooooo:scared: Your weather is my weather:sad2: I'm see myself racing to work when my computer goes down (they have emergency generators:thumbsup2 ) and explaining to the security guard why I have to book ressies for my TOAL:rotfl:
This is of course after I've explained it to the cop that pulls me over for speeding:rolleyes:

I'm sure it's been answered. You don't have to book, but if you really want to do brunch regardless of the group, go ahead and book so you will have a back up in case we don't get the room. You won't be able to do both, but if your heart is set on brunch, then to be safe, book one on your own.
That's what I was thinking of doing:thumbsup2 Just in case:confused3 I'm pretty sure that with 2 weeks we will all be able to get in Palo at least once:goodvibes

UPDATE ......MOUSE SCORE.....

Mice - 0 -

Family - 4 -

Came home from dinner and the lhasa had one cornered underneath my slot machine.

Jared has a friend spending the night, so the two boys are having a blast with the "search & destroy" missions.
Glad they're having fun:lmao:

Nice, My mum and Dad got maiied on November 30th, St Andrews day, hence why they called me 'Dave', :lmao: ....Andrew.

Someone said that they went to Brunch yesterday on one of the threads ..I checked the ressies on the website and they are showing the Brunch on sea days only. So it may be an on-board kinf od thing only.

I thought I had read it on Debs blog but when I went back a bunch of stuff was missing :confused3

QUICK LITTLE POLL......

Regarding tomorrow night's bookings....Are you:

1. Nervous

2. Excited

And why???

Nervous.

Both of mine on Frontier and American have changed by hours and never got an email from either one. I just happened to check the websites one day and happened to come across it.

American changed my flight #. They had to resend the e ticket.

Roger, check your flight # as you had the same one as mine and it no longer exists.

Hopfully Diane and myself are doing thoose together as one, on our private Van hire, I iddnt want to leave it to the tour time, we hopfully can get going at 9.30am as we have the van for eight hours. Plus we will nto be packed in as the van holds 12 and there are only 8 of us, inc 4 kids.

So Diane will be allshookup earlier than you on the Tequila :woohoo:

Hello!

I'm back from dropping 2 of the girls off at the GS Santa Barbara Zoo sleepover... it was such a gorgous drive going and returning along the ocean today. It turned out really nice to because the Zoo leaders let me go into the zoo to shoot some photos of the girls.

Do you call him Andy or Drew or Andrew ? With all the Andrews on this trip, these boys are going to be looking over their shoulders everytime someone calls their name:lmao:

Hopefully today will be quiet at work so I can try to keep up with this thread. I have a feeling this is going to add many pages today and won't want to miss any info.
Luckily I got 4 1/2 hours off tomorrow so I don't have to show up at work til after lunch 3:30 just in case we need some beauty rest.

1/ Answered your PM, 2/ I have a contingency to have tomorrow off, just in case, and I only want to book two ports! It will be 5am here.

Please, God, PLEASE do not let my in-laws find any of the available cabins.

Please? Pretty please?

I think 5am is better than 12am. At least you get some sleep.

Please, God, PLEASE do not let my in-laws find any of the available cabins.

:rotfl2: At those prices ???
