Didn’t get into the 2025 race so now I’m looking forward to 2026? Any educated guesstimates on dates? We are hoping to camp at the Fort for the race and need to make a reservation as soon as possible 😬

It’s probably anyone’s guess at this point. For awhile it was a lock to have this first weekend in November. Then this year they threw a curveball and went with the weekend before Halloween. Next year Halloween falls on a Saturday. I guess I’d lean towards a repeat of this years scheduling but that’s not a confident guess.

I am eagerly waiting for the dates to be released. I am hoping for a 10k bib. I am not from the US, but tried to check out reasons why some weekends wouldn't be suitable. This year's dates fall during UK school holidays, which made flights etc very expensive. I would prefer November 14th next year, but what will be with be.

While I would love it to be this weekend also, I would be really surprised if it was this late. I hate when it is during Jersey week. I would not be surprised if it was Halloween weekend actually.

I also seriously doubt it would be that late. They moved it earlier this year (suspect as an experiment) and it has been held over Halloween weekend more than once before. When they started, these races were put during timeframes with slower crowds, but those don't really exist anymore. Princess is always close to President's Weekend and SS is consistently close to Easter and many US spring break holidays, so I don't think that's entering much into the equation now.
