I bought the motorola talkabout 2-way radios. Model # T8530R before I rip open package does anyone own these? Are they good & do they actually work?

Need to get ready for bible study, also wen't to post office today.

We have the talkabout FV200. It is supposed to have a 5 mile range. I took one in the car with the kids and we were still able to get DH for about a mile. I'm thinking on the ship without power lines, trees etc it would be farther. We got this with our point from our debit card.

As of today 11pm. It was 9pm,Frontier changed it on us. I've been trying to check my reservation for any more changes and I just can't get around on their website to check it out.

Did I mention my offer of a ride to the airport is good from the hours of 3:00pm to 9:00 pm? J/K - we'll take care of y'all.

Can YOU remember what you were up to 22 years ago back in 1984 or 1985?

I was 10 - therefore 5th grade - I remember I hated my 5th grade teacher.

might have been special for the repo, I don't know....but they would make stuff and then we'd get to eat, and there was usually a wine pairing too!

I have done the food demos before - they offered it on the Med cruise last year and I think they did it in 2005 on the Mexican cruises as well.

It's going to be a HOT one today. It was only 68 when I left my house. It was 81 by the time I got to work. And it's only 8:30 am. Supposed to get up to 95.

I'm right of the SF Bay. It never gets this hot here. We've usually got our built in air conditioner (fog) and the bay breeze. Not today. We're cooking!

To say the least - did not wear a jacket to work today. Stepped out to do a few things and could not wait to get back to work to the AC. Dreading getting home tonight since I don't have any air - just a ceilling fan.

I just heard from a high source that Mario Lopez will be on the EB giving dance lessons.....

Especially since I'm talking to myself.....

Okay.....confession time....before the young gals on our cruise get too excited......No Mario Lopez. The "high" source was me. I might have been that way when I came up with that silly joke.

Haven't used those, although they look quite convenient.
I used Dropps and they worked great. Carried a few of them in ziploc bags instead of brining the whole package. Never had a problem with them breaking though.
