Who would you just absolutely die to see??? If you could pick one star or entertainer, who would it be??

I'd have to go with McDreamy (even though he's married)

He's from Enchanted...and disney runs ABC...

Come on DCL... Dream big....

Everytime I see Patrick Dempsey I think of the "Can't buy me Love" 80's movie
Who would have thought he would grow up to be so handsome

Westbound entertainment list, thank you, and who are they?

Julie Andrews :cutie: and Millie, (Jail bait).:cool2:

Busy planning Disneyland Paris!:hippie:

Good evening.

Julie Andrews!:flower3:

I would love to see Elton John or Phil Collins - I love their music and they both have worked on Disney films

I ditto that one. Either of those would be WONDERFUL!

What about Josh Groban? Wasn't he on their website for awhile signing a song in front of the castle? :lovestruc

My ds12 is quite a climber and he's has earned the title of "monkey" in our family as well. But, we are like you guys M, it is a term of endearment.

We are so un-PC, I guess.

Yep....we called Jared "Monkey boy" for a long time....if it was there, he would climb it.

I remember years ago, some football announcer getting in trouble because (I think it was Johnny Rogers with the ball) the running back or whatever you call the ones who take the ball and run all down the field....was really a-runnin' and the announcer said "Look at the monkey run!".....not meaning anything at all derogatory.......

OK so try and try till I get what I want! Thanks! :)

hehehehe thanks! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

So in general, how does everyone's footwear on the cruise compare to the footwear at say the Magic Kingdom? We always wear high-top type sturdy shoes in the parks, and I switch to the Teva type sandals in the resort.

At WDW I almost always wear sneakers & cotton ankle socks in the parks. Sometimes I wear Tevas, but they don't offer as much support for me. On the cruise, dressy sandals on formal/semi-formal night & like I mentioned before it's strictly flip flops for the rest! I'm not a fan of crocks or crock sandals. I like something more like this:

Oooo good Disney connections.

QUICK! Add him to my List!
It's a good thing I didn't have it laminated.

Can'tBuyMeLove.jpg

Seriously. He really wasn't cute back then.

IMO Patrick Dempsey, John Stamos and Jon Bon Jovi come to mind in the 'getting better with age' category. I didn't see they hype in any of the 20 years ago. Now they are all hot.

Maybe it's just me.

I would love to see Elton John or Phil Collins - I love their music and they both have worked on Disney films. There are others, like Tom Hanks or Ron Howard, but I would assume that anyone they choose would put on a show of some kind

Maybe Phil could perform with the Tarzan yelling guy. :)
We are all having trouble packing. Can you imagine what Elton John would bring on a 15 night cruise??

I wonder if he still has the Donald Duck outfit.

So, while we are Julie-Andrews-wishing for entertainers on the EB cruise...

Who would you just absolutely die to see??? If you could pick one star or entertainer, who would it be??

Your wish doesn't even have to be realistic. The only parameters are that it should be someone Disney/family-friendly and, well I guess, currently alive.

Gimme Harry any day. Harry Connick Jr. He has kids. He sang Bare Necessities on "Mad About the Mouse". See, look, Disney ties!

I'm not a big star-struck type person, but I would just be giddy and well might possibly die if Harry was onboard.

Of course, DH wouldn't let me out of his sight either. :)
Harry is #1 on my Friends list.:rolleyes1

For me it would bne either Hawaiian folk vocalist Kealii Reichel as he is a pretty cool person while at the same time a tremendous vocalist http://www.kealiireichel.com/index3.html and he'd definately be family friendly ... or .... it might be any of the performers and actors from the sci fi shows I watch... like any of the Star Trek series - or Star Wars, or Dr Who, Torchwood, and or any of the sci fi / fantasy movies too. AND I know they do fan cruises for these things... but I've never gotten around to sailing on one of those - though I've sometimes considered it. Gee... maybe I should look into it again, eh?

OK... so why am I still here? Well... I've had a few curve balls thrown into my mornign and lunch - so it left me with some goof off time for a bit - but now I gotta get going ... it seems I have a lunch apointment and I have to run errands before hand - starting in a few minutes.

Oh I would just die if Josh were on board!!!   I would have to miss dinner because I would have to see every performance! :worship:

I agree they are getting better with age but I do have to say that John Stamos as Blackie was a cutie. He also LOVES Disney - he even purchased the old Disneyland sign when it was being sold a few years ago

Jon Bon Jovi is a super nice person - he lives about 15 miles away from me, in the same town as Bruce Springsteen. He even was opening the door for Trick or Treaters on Halloween a few years back

Sadly Phil Collins announced that he has retired from performing in public. I'm so glad that I got to see him last September - his voice has really gotten better with age.

How about George Clooney:lovestruc ? He was on Roseanne, which was on ABC - then owned by Capital Cities who was bought by Disney!

Lots of different fancy sunglasses! Hmmm Could he fit everything into 2 suitcases??

Think I need new flip flops :)

Ok..I am sure he has no Disney connection other then maybe being interviewed on ABC..I would love to see Barry Manilow..my daughter thinks I am insane and DH tried to buy me tickets for my birthday this year until I saw the price....I just love his music...makes me think of high school.

Ummm...adult wise..I would love to Bette Midler... even tho she isn't so "Disney" family appropriate - I understand she has a great show!

I had never heard of 'George Clooney' before ER... But I remember liking that guy from The Facts of Life. Guess I was too young back then to even think about the actor's real names! :rotfl:
