In the absence of information from DCL on the entertainment I tried to overlay the Westbound entertainment schedule with what we know, and try to get conclusions, not the problems are do they run them in the same order? Or to the same ports.

Now for example the ballroom under the stars I think is more suited to Pacific ports as you dress up and the Caribbean will be hotter, we know the deck parties are the port days, but Acapulco we go earlier.

This also assumes the same entertainers, they could change but gives an idea for booking next week.

One of the old downtown theaters here shows the old movies in the summer. We used to buy season tickets (10 tickets for $25) but will miss a lot of them this year so we are going to pass. It is so much fun to watch them on the big screen. There is a Grace Kelly weekend that we just may have to go to if we are in town.

That sounds like a cool event, I'd love to go to something like that.

JUST FOR FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies Only ... Which Movie Star Are You? This is kind of fun!

(27-34 points) You are DEBBIE REYNOLDS:
You are cute, and everyone loves you. You are a best friend that no one takes the chance of losing. You never hurt feelings and seldom have your own feelings hurt. Life is a breeze. You are witty, and calm most of the time. Just keep clear of back stabbers, and you are worry-free.

I'm Debbie Reynolds too!

Also again on the subject of green chile.... I was gonna say that green chile is actually addicting like a drug. When you eat the chili, the body releases a hormone or whatever it is that naturally kills pain and makes you feel good. Also works great for stuffy sinuses too :)

My favorite pizza is the "Roadrunner" with pepperoni and green chile :)

Hot pepper kills prostate cancer cells in study
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Capsaicin, which makes peppers hot, can cause prostate cancer cells to kill themselves, U.S. and Japanese researchers said on Wednesday.

Capsaicin led 80 percent of human prostate cancer cells growing in mice to commit suicide in a process known as apoptosis, the researchers said.

Prostate cancer tumors in mice fed capsaicin were about one-fifth the size of tumors in untreated mice, they reported in the journal Cancer Research.

"Capsaicin had a profound anti-proliferative effect on human prostate cancer cells in culture," said Dr. Soren Lehmann of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine.

"It also dramatically slowed the development of prostate tumors formed by those human cell lines grown in mouse models."

While it is far easier to cure cancer in mice infected with human tumors than it is in human beings, the findings suggest a possible future treatment. They also may offer a good excuse for men who like spicy food to eat more of it.

Lehmann estimated that the mice ate the human equivalent of 400 milligrams of capsaicin three times a week. That is about the amount found in three to eight fresh habanero peppers, depending on how hot the peppers are.

The capsaicin inhibited the activity of NF-kappa beta, a molecular mechanism that helps lead to apoptosis in many cell types.

Prostate cancer is the most common malignant cancer in U.S. men. It is diagnosed in 232,000 men every year and kills up to 30,000 of them. Worldwide, 221,000 men die every year from prostate cancer.

Sounds good..only thing is..and of course..this could change..I was told by my VR consultant that the 18th was not a formal night (our VR is that day and I was hoping it was going to be since we are all dressed up) but I will take her word with a grain of salt since it seems DCL hasn't decided anything yet.

Agree, there are one two places I am not happy with including the Masterchef and PV/ Acapulco, and golden mickeys but its a plan I will work to

Cheryl....I don't remember you mentioning this, but did you see The Bucket List? I am guessing you did.

I spent the day with my grandma last week, and took her to see it. WOW! That was a great movie! Somehow I had not seen trailers or commercials for it when it was a first run. I can't believe there wasn't more of a "buzz" about it. Then again....maybe I completely missed the "buzz" too! Anyway, I highly recommend it.:thumbsup2

It was a great movie. There was a lot hype but maybe you did not pay too much attention. I saw Speed Racer and would not give two thumbs up!!!:sad2: What Happens in Vegas was just fun to watch!!:thumbsup2

right now there is a cat 9 showing up6,597 for 2 people

That is gone but another Cat 6 Showed up for $83?? for two peeps!!!

I LOVE that movie!!!!

I loved Bundle of Joy And Tammy and the Bachelor. :cool1:

I think after what happened in 2005 where the price went up over $1000, within a few days, where anyone that was interested this time around held the room on the first day and then had a chance to think about it. Not fair to others that couldn't get in that first day to book a room but this is what I think happened
