The ship docks earlier than that....they have to get cleared by the local authorities and such....the time listed for the excursion is the time that you would meet with the rest of the group in one of the lounges and such.

For example:
Dolphin Swim
Meet in Animators at 8:45
Sign release forms and get towels
Wait for stragglers
Walk to gangway

By then, it's close to 9:30........

You meant walk to gangway to the tenders right or do they now have a gangway all the way in to the dock. Was this something just for the concierge level peeps.

So kind, I do not know why I entered, as first my guess is for USA only second, the flights are my major cost, not the cruise. Suppose could add on to 2009, if the allowed that, bet its set dates.

What an introduction you are getting. First time cruising ever or just first time DCL?

Last year's Med Repo was my first DCL, although my 6th overall cruise. I was able to get everything I wanted at 75 days out, with the exception of Palo. I was even able to score a Cabana Massage on Castaway Cay. But for Palo I just checked back every few days and something popped up about a month before.

So you should be fine.

This is our 1st time cruising. Been to WDW too many times to count & DL 3 times. I'm so glad to have found this thread... Everyone is so helpful & friendly! It has really made our 1st cruise special. We planning on doing lots of things with our fellow DISers & my aunt has really gotten into the dressing up for pirate nite. I just can't believe all the helpful info I've gotten to make our TOAL great! I don't get to post much, but I play ketchup a lot & the posts are always fun & interesting. The times I have posted, everyone is so helpful!!! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone (I talk more in person )!!!! I just want to thank you all for helping to make this truly a TOAL!!!!

concierge level, can walk on water, as long as its ordered 12 hours in advance to DCL, on their website.-Have requested for 2009!

I thought you all knew I can walk on water......

Just tip concierge and you can.....

Debi - got a question for you. Have you and Kev rented Harley's before? I can't find any info on it, but I got to wondering if there are any age restrictions. Obviously DS wouldn't be driving, but not sure if they prevent me from taking him with me. I'll probably call HOG and see if they can tell me.

Paula - now I've got a question for you. (seems that I'm in planning mode this morning). Which zip line are we doing in Cabo? Is it the WildCanyon Monster Zips? Trying to figure out the times so I can plan Cabo Wabo.

I went in to check to make sure that a client got everything they wanted and noticed that only two of the excursions are showing not available right now

Cabo - Chileno Bay Snorkeling
PV - Banderas Bay luxury sailing adventure - this is one of the ones that you need to fax or email your request in

Best of Cartagena is still not listed and I have send an email to the person who deals with the shore excursions to find out why. Hopefully she will get back to me on Monday.

The Cabo dolphin swim is still only showing the later time available the first two are showing booked right now

I didn't check to see if any others that are on disneycruise.com are not showing on the booking side of things, the only one I checked is the Best of Cartagena
