Diane, I think enough of us have 11 y/o kids. Maybe we can convince them to let out kids in the lab if there isn't enough for the to do in quest. Or, maybe we can convince them to offer more for the quest kids. I guess we'll know in a couple of weeks how it goes for WB.

Yes let's wait to hear & if we don't like what we're hearing...they'll be hearing from us! :goodvibes

I'm the only person on the DIS who doesn't know who these people are. I'm always amazed by all the people who seem to become BFF with their servers, stateroom attendant, CD, etc. in 7 days or less.

I guess we're just not friendly. :upsidedow

Nope I don't know them either! We had an Australian guy as the CD on our 2006 cruise. I think his name was Andrew? Anyway everytime we ran into him I would yell something like "Hey it's him!" like he was a big star & he would just give a nervous little wave like I was some kind of stalker or something. Maybe because it sort of came out like "hey ithes shim" & I might've tripped a little, but geez no reason to be afraid! :rotfl2:

Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 :lmao: :lmao:

UPDATE: When the Excel energy guy came out to her house late last night, he discovered she'd lost nearly all of her power to her main breaker box. Thus, when she turned on a light, she'd get nothing, but when she turned on a major appliance, it attempted to pull more power and in the process something such as that light on the same circuit that required very little power such as a light would come on. That's at least the simplistic explanation he gave. He said this also happens fairly frequently although I had never heard of it. Good news/bad news is that they were able to run a main wire to her box as a temporary fix until they can get out and fix it. The bad news is that they won't be back out to fix it for 3 to 4 weeks. The good news is that she gets free electricity during that timeframe.

That's just weird!

I tried this rationalization with my DH - how often does one turn 45, 40 and 13? How often do you celebrate 16 years of marriage. He told me to get over it.

Yep we're celebrating 20 years together! Our anniversary isn't till next April, but what the heck? ;)

We went to NHL All-Star game in St. Paul, MN in 2004. BNL were the opening act and did an intermission show. After the AS game, they had a private party inside this giant ICE castle built outside of the Wild's arena. You couldn't buy the tickets, it was invitation only. We were walking out of the arena and a young couple with a European accent offered their tickets to us. Temperature in the teens...snowstorm going on....Free Cider w/Rum and Irish Coffees....and BNL...Great concert!

That must've been exciting. I think I've seen that castle on the food network. Maybe Giada's behind the bash show or something. :confused3

Throw my DS8 (to be 9 on TOAL) into mix, he didn't bring his homework home because the teacher didn't give them enough time to gather it up.....

OMG I get that same exact excuse from DS11!

If my husband did not drink already....I think this would make him drink!!!;)
What a great picture......I think us women have come a long way!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Congrats Debi!!!:woohoo: Now it actually seems real.:thumbsup2

I usually just take lots of yarn and either braid it or just make a puff with it. It is cheap and does not come off!!! :woohoo: I have been doing this for thirty years!!:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

:thumbsup2

No, you aren't alone (except being on first name basis with Captain) it wasn't till I came here that I realized how little we did on the DCL .....

People are peering into my office to see what is so funny!

Must have been the Bahama Mamas!

That was probably Brent. He was on our 2006 7-night. Our first cruise on Wonder (2004), I want to say the CD's name was Julie, but that may be from remembering The Love Boat, not DCL. :)

Here I go getting serious but I thought I would share since I consider you my friends.:goodvibes ;)

A Birth Certificate shows that we were born
A Death Certificate shows that we died
Pictures show that we lived!
Have a seat . . . Relax . . . And read this slowly.

I Believe... That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do love each other.

I Believe... That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I Believe... That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I Believe... That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I Believe... That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I Believe... That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
I Believe... That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I Believe... That you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I Believe... That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

I Believe... That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I Believe... That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I Believe... That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I Believe... That my best friend and I, can do anything, or nothing and have the best time.

I Believe... That sometimes the people you expect to kick you

when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

I Believe... That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I Believe... That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do
with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I Believe... That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others. sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I Believe... That no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I Believe... That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but, we are responsible for who we become.

I Believe... That you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life Forever.

I Believe... Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I Believe... That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.

I Believe... That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you - you will find the strength to help.

I Believe... That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I Believe... That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon "The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything."

Apparently I'm on the "troublemaker" list with DCL, I should't e-mail anymore, just check the website. Anyone know if the website shows theme nights, etc. once they are decided?

Dear Thomas,

Thank you for choosing a Disney Cruise Line Vacation!

At this time we are feverishly working with our dining partners to
establish the theme nights, formal nights and deck parties.

We greatly appreciate your understanding. Please visit our website at
www.disneycruise.com in the future for updates on the 15-Night Eastbound
Panama Canal Cruise.

I hope this information has been helpful. If you require further
assistance in planning your visit, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to sailing with you! Have a Magical Day!

I must say I have never seen that infomation posted anywhere on the DCL site.

Interesting that DCL hasn't changed their info on the "my cruise" page

You must register children before they can participate in onboard activities including Flounder's Reef Nursery (ages 3 and under), Disney's Oceaneer Club (ages 3-7) and Disney's Oceaneer Lab (ages 8-12). You can only register children on the cruise reservation you retrieved. To register children in another stateroom, you must retrieve the reservation using the confirmation number for that stateroom.

And Ian with Escaping Mom Frances on the 11 Night:

Both are full of energy, but Ian's the one who was ALWAYS WET. Fully clothed and in the pool or in the ocean. In fact, you can't tell it, but he was soaking wet in this picture. And we were right in front of the Walt Disney Theater with Ducky Williams.

we had ian on our last cruise! he was a blast...we loved him and so did the kids!!

Okay, I'll bite...how did the bunny with the pancakes thing start? I am glad it did because I really enjoy the goofy bunny pictures. So does DD3! (Well, except that one...with the human bunny...;) )

Aw,you didn't like my version of the "Bunny with a pancake"? ;)

We LOVE the Barenaked ladies too! Almost went on their cruise this past year!

I love the rationalization piece...we are celebrating a June B-day, 15th Anniversary in July, a July, August, 2 Septembers, 1 Nov. and 1 Jan. Birthday. That is why we are going on the TOAL!

Were doing 29th Anniversary(June 16) and 2 50th Birthdays.

I've never seen this stuff anywhere on the website before. I was actually going to wait and email them tomorrow (they told me to wait until May to check back). If I get the same response, I'll have to ask them to point out to me WHERE on their website this information is given.;)

We had Andrew on our Sept. '06 Eastern trip.

And who exactly are the "dining partners" they are so feverishly working with? KFC? BK? Chart House?
