Whoa took me all night to find the current thread! Though, it doesn't look like it'll last through the night LOL. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Terri. We just decided to do a cruise last weekend and started looking at this one, but alas it was sold out. So a few nights ago, we were messing around and trying to find another cruise to do when this one showed up. It was about 10:30pm and we were already tired, but knew that if we did not sign up right then, we'd miss it! So here we are going on our very first cruise! Nice to meet ya all!

Just managed to get homefrom our Girl Scout Event ... DD and DH went to a square dance and box supper. It was fun to watch them. A fellow GS leader and I put the dance on so we got all the fun stuff of decorating and clean up!

Hi everyone.

I don't know how many here read the community board. I posted on a thread there last night and this morning. My views/opinions were in the minority. There were a few posters that shared my views. One of those posters made a pretty nasty (racist) comment to another poster.

Well it seems, that some DISers now think I'm posting under two names and that I'm the person who made the nasty remarks.

I just wanted to let you all know that I did not make nor do I agree with those comments. In the 7 years that I've been on the DIS I've only had one name.

I started a thread on the community board to try to clear things up. I also PMed the person that was insulted.

At this point I don’t know what else I can do.

Sorry DJ, . I have read some on the CB and there sure are some opinionated disers over there. I wouldn't worry about it and I would add whoever to my ignore list.

Kissimmee Police Searching For Persons Of Interest In Gas Theft


KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- A pair of thieves rigged a Kissimmee gas pump and stole thousands of dollars worth of gas over a four-hour period.

Kissimmee police released surveillance video of the scheme that happened at a Citgo station on Michigan Avenue in April. The men moved more than 25 cars through the pump after tampering with the device that regulates how much gas flows through it.

Police say the suspects may have even acted like attendants and taken cash from customers.

"I'm shocked. There is a lot that goes on in this neighborhood, but I didn't think people would actually figure out how to do that," said Veronica Morales, a gas station customer.

Police also released photos of two men they are calling persons of interest in the case. Anyone who has information is asked to call the Kissimmee Police Department.



Nobody noticed this activity for over 4 hours?????

Depending on how busy the station is and how well staffed, it could happen. My service tech can do something to the pump that will make it not register inside that it is pumping.

I'm very late to the party and wondering if this is the place to jump in. After having been on waiting lists for pretty much forever we got extremely lucky and got offered a space on this cruise and I got the booking two days ago!! I'm still walking around in a dazed state that we're going to be on the Panama Repo!! It's going to be my son who'll be 6 and myself. We are both very happy!!!!

Gee.... I'm sooooo shocked! I wuz just out an' about havin' a bit of fun ....

.... alas, I'd like to thank my (travel) Agent, Barbara... and my Mother and DOg, my supportive spouse and kids who have given up countless hours, months and years with me as I spent them tapping away here. Well.. actually I did NOT sacrifice time with the kids as often one of them are on mylap helping me select animations or still images of candied G-strings in the design of various national flags. < ahem > At any rate, I would like to close by thanking the Academy for thier votes and shall now declare in no unceratain terms that I'm going to Disneyland now! Well... on Sunday at least that's the plan....

and for the record... my older daughter is on my lap and just asked if that was really me in the black tux....

I don't think it is the same tier unles going from the Cat 4 to a Cat 3 really was double the price on the first day........ That was for our family of 5.

To be honest I wouldn't have paid double for it -- but, our TA just knew that Jon prefers the Cat3. I really wish I would have told her only if it is xx amount difference. KWIM?

This is affecting my other plans for the trip -- time spent in WDW afterwards, etc.....
And we just found out our 10ds has the opportunity to go to Ireland with a Theater that he has recently performed with. It is the first time that they have ever had a child in one of their productions. His airline ticket would be paid for with a grant but, you can't let a 10 yr old go to Ireland with a group of adults he isn't related to and has only know for a few weeks!! LOL!

For my 2009 7 day cruise the Cat 4 was $8k and I paid $10k for a Cat 3.
