sWhoa took me all night to find the current thread! Though, it doesn't look like it'll last through the night LOL. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Terri. We just decided to do a cruise last weekend and started looking at this one, but alas it was sold out. So a few nights ago, we were messing around and trying to find another cruise to do when this one showed up. It was about 10:30pm and we were already tired, but knew that if we did not sign up right then, we'd miss it! So here we are going on our very first cruise! Nice to meet ya all!

Gee.... I'm sooooo shocked! I wuz just out an' about havin' a bit of fun ....
.... alas, I'd like to thank my (travel) Agent, Barbara... and my Mother and DOg, my supportive spouse and kids who have given up countless hours, months and years with me as I spent them tapping away here. Well.. actually I did NOT sacrifice time with the kids as often one of them are on mylap helping me select animations or still images of candied G-strings in the design of various national flags. < ahem > At any rate, I would like to close by thanking the Academy for thier votes and shall now declare in no unceratain terms that I'm going to Disneyland now! Well... on Sunday at least that's the plan....
and for the record... my older daughter is on my lap and just asked if that was really me in the black tux....

My kids always bring me breakfast in bed on Mother's Day, too. It is usually the most random collection of food, and I can never finish everything they bring me. But I always act so surprised.
Sunny day here, too! Although we have mowed about 4 or 5 times already.

I just decided that this trip we will cut down on our room charges --- last cruise, 10nt -- it was very close to 5 figures!!!We did have 2 more people with us (our oldest 2 children)..........
I am happy with what I have booked the Cat 4 for this one and go up a level in 2009 to Cat 3. With my kids they 'expect' the next trip to always be better, so after flying upper class they expect it everytime, and again Cat 3 they will expect it after doing it once, ( however they think 2009 is Cat 4, in the same room as this cruise)
Well - we canceled our WDW portion of the trip - now we will be staying on the boat for the 5 day cruise!! Yippee!!

Actually you wil have to pay the prevailing rate- not the rate you paid in the beginning. I know because we tried to see how much it would be to add the 2 youngest kids to our cat 6 room, get rid of the cat 11 room and stick our other child "on paper only" in one of Tom's cabins... it wasn't saving even anymore than the onboard credit we had for the cat 11 (from DCL and TA) because the 2 kids moving over to cat 6 room would be at prevailing rate- not the tier we paid originally. And they also told us if we moved to other rooms (cheaper) if they were to become available- it would be at the rate it was then, not the tier we paid for our room.
So... basically there was no way we'd really go on the cruise cheaper now that the prices had went up so high- even if we moved down to a less expensive category, because we got in on one of the lowest tiers originally.

We had a good time and DH and I really enjoyed getting to meet everyone again and for the first time. LOL - turns out that Liz and I had sailed together back in May of 2005 - but I was a bit shy at the time so I didn't introduce myself
