For those of us waiting for Southwest to open their flights for our return home, they are supposed to do so today. There's nothing up on their website yet. I heard that they usually open for booking at 11 am EST, but I don't know that for sure. I'll be checking them every so often today.

We felt it here in Ohio. I woke up, but didn't know what woke me up, so I went back to sleep. There was a picture on the floor in the family room, but not sure if it was the earthquake or the cats.

Stopped at Dollar Tree last night. No POC sunscreen, but did find some Panama Jack spray on that is SPF 30.

TGIF It has been a long week.

This reminds me. Was in Walmart yesterday. They still have the pirate sunscreen, same stuff that's in the Dollar Tree. They are selling it for $6.84 and it expires in 2008!!! The ones I got from DT don't expire until 2009.

Its a different type of fault system and much flatter land, so there's no mountains or hills to absorb the shock like in California. Supposedly the threat from a major earthquake on the New Madrid fault is considered to be significant, could cut off all east-west commerce (e.g. No Coors east of Mississippi River)

And that's a bad thing? Blech. You folks really want some, I'll throw some over. Can't stand Coors.

Yeah, thus DH's stress level the last 3 years. He secured a port where 90% of all good reached Alaska. Oh and our largest oil terminal.

Sorta explains why we have about a month's supply of MREs in our garage at all times.

Yeah, just booked our return flights home on SW...$105 nonstop to Houston! We decided to come home on Tues, Sept. 2, so that DD could celebrate her 4th birthday at WDW on Monday. Looks like my two oldest will be missing 6 days of school now! The principal was fine with 5 days...let's hope one more day doesn't make a difference! Besides, what's more fun...school or WDW!

Monica, you have to purchase a roundtrip ticket to use that code. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw that code right after I had purchased our tickets until I saw that it was only good for roundtrip travel.

So far still no locusts, but I think we're getting close.

To add to my why oh why am I at work day - the fire alarm just went off. We all hung out on the sidewalk for about 15 minutes, then came back. I guess our AC guy set it off. Now he is walking around ranting into his phone about being the only guy here and there is no way he can get it done & he's going to probably set the alarm off again.

Yeah, I wouldn't be getting anything done even if I did feel like working.

I already bought $75 TOAL return flights, but I looked just for the heck of it. SW was $120 with the discount. Now I feel better about not waiting.

Southwest STINKS!!! $172 one way from Orlando to Albany and they moved the non-stop flight from 1:30 to 5! I am SO NOT HAPPY!!!!!
