Well, we got back from the drs a while ago and dd has the beginnings of streep. Dr said it wasn't that bad yet, but it was good that we caught it! So I have a very long weekend. They gave dd some Motrin and her fever is down and she is perking up. She's on amoxicillin for the next 10 days. I've been trying to get her to take a nap and well that's not going so good! But she looks alot better and I'm glad we headed off worse.

Glad DD is starting to feel better.

Now, I'm not one to normally break out into random show tunes, but after what seems like an eternity of trying to get everything together, our house is going on the market TOMORROW Now we'll just be attempting to keep it showplace clean and hoping that someone buys it

I had 3 New Year's Resolutions for 2008 ... #1, sell the dang house, #2, get a new job and #3, TOAL of course I like to make resolutions that actually stand a chance of being accomplished

Positive thoughts going out to everyone that needs them. As if the weather pattern wasn't bad enough

Got yesterday's mess cleaned up and now waiting for the 10" coming tomorrow and Sat! Uck! Can't seem to get a break this winter.




Add dd to the bacon race! Last cruise we had a server who brought dd a heaping plate of bacon. It was heart attack on a plate!



Every time I hear youse, it reminds me of the scene in My Cousin Vinny where Joe Pesci pronounces youths as youts!




My dad's dermo's office would call and tell him to get an appointment with the Mohs surgeon. I think its just office procedure. Sometime I really don't like dealing with the front offices of drs!



I'd be happy to send you mine. If we do get another 10" I'm not sure where I'm going to put it!

I can't believe you still getting all that s***! We're actually seeing signs of spring here. Temps above freezing, snow is melting, we can see grass (yellow & flat grass but still grass) and there is a glowing ball in the sky today.

We also have this strange ball of fire in the sky today, but it isn't meling the 24 inches of snow we still have on the ground. This is very unusual for us to have this much snow this late in the year. But I also have to say that it is better to have snow on the ground than the gray ugly dreary ground. Oh well, 16 days to WDW!

That's what I heard and from her !!! We might just have to do something about that. Nothing like having lobster on the beach. We might need to get John involved in this one. :rotfl2

Honestly I am not sure what happened. I am a runner and have been training pretty hard for the past 6 months. About 2 months ago, I went to get up from sitting and something in my ankle just swished around, it was very sore and I had xrays done but nothing showed so theyput me on some antiinflamatory and I stayed away from running for about a week. I gradually worked my way back up to about 5 miles and that is where I have been for about 2 weeks now. Then on Tuesday the same thing, I was sitting, got up
and I could not stand on my ankle. Xrays again show nothing, they gave me some darvocet and some naproxen and told me to see an orthopedic. Well, that night and all day yesterday, no swelling but still can't walk on it. Have an appt with an orthopedic this afternoon. This morning I get up and my ankle is swollen, red and hot. Not sure what is going on but I am hoping that whatever it is they can take the pain away because it is very painful. I will try and come back here later tonight to let you all know what he said.

My foot fell asleep is the reason behind my torn ligament. I tried to walk on it and I heard a big snap!!! The soft cast I still use is just like a brace!!! I can predict when rain is coming!!

I hope you have great news from the doctor today!!! Maybe it will just need time to heal!!!!

The nurse said it was in-office procedure. They would take tissue from around the spot and test it on the spot and take as much until they knew they got it all. That is also what Roger said.
I live in a Dallas suburb and was very surprised how very few Dr's I had to choose from in all the metroplex. All of 3 they mentioned.
I work from home but have so many things involved w/ the girls that I am anxious to get it done and start healing.
I have always had dark pigmentation and tanned extremely easy. Also there is no skin cancer in my family so I assumed I was good. I had a bunch on little spots taken off last week just cosmetically, I was not expecting anything to come of it.
Guess I will be more deligent about sunscreen.

Looks like I get to join your club!!! I had two moles removed last Tuesday. The one I thought was bad as it was scaly turned out to be nothing..... but I had a pretty little beauty mark and doctor said that had to be removed too. It was no biiger than a straight pin head.

I just got a call today(I went back Tuesday for stitch removal but no results). The margin was not clear so rather than be sorry later....I have to go back and get a larger hole too!!! Maybe we could just use play dough to fill in our holes.

They have a casting call tomorrow evening for a new Johnny Depp movie being filmed here in Wisconsin. I can't decide if I should try it or not. I do fit in the description that they posted. It would be fun I suppose. Hmmmm....what to do?

Actually when I call now for other things the first thing the cm tells me is that no info on the August EB yet for formal nights, etc. Even before I ask them

Unlike you, Crash, I could never go to a place like that. My ego has been bruised enough when the ladies at the bars rejected me -- I don't think it could handle the guys rejecting me too.

Wow you are a hard group to keep up with. Especially since my home computer died back in November. Glad I was reading and now know that the cruise is going to cost me $15 more. Makes me glad it is just me as I can dig up $15 even if I have to go panhandling.

Anyone else out here traveling solo? Has anyone ever done a cruise alone? I am wondering how strange it will be having dinner at Palo alone. Also if my server will think I am an alcoholic when I order a wine package.

Being from back east (NE PA) and going to school around Philly - youz guys was frequently used as well as "Where you at?"

Sorry to hear the bug is working its way through this group. I was sick for 3 weeks. Finally started getting better last week. It is brutal. You think you are getting better then it comes back at you. I only got an inhaler - Dr. said not much we can do - everyone has it.

BTW - looking into getting a laptop to replace dead home computer. Anyone out there have any recommendations? I am leaning towards a Dell XPS.
