Wow you are a hard group to keep up with. Especially since my home computer died back in November. Glad I was reading and now know that the cruise is going to cost me $15 more. Makes me glad it is just me as I can dig up $15 even if I have to go panhandling.

Anyone else out here traveling solo? Has anyone ever done a cruise alone? I am wondering how strange it will be having dinner at Palo alone. Also if my server will think I am an alcoholic when I order a wine package.

Being from back east (NE PA) and going to school around Philly - youz guys was frequently used as well as "Where you at?"

Sorry to hear the bug is working its way through this group. I was sick for 3 weeks. Finally started getting better last week. It is brutal. You think you are getting better then it comes back at you. I only got an inhaler - Dr. said not much we can do - everyone has it.

BTW - looking into getting a laptop to replace dead home computer. Anyone out there have any recommendations? I am leaning towards a Dell XPS.

Wow, thanks for the math alert. I am normally a math geek (my friends at work call me Nerdcole instead of Nicole because I love to do math problems) but we all have the flu and I can't think straight. My skin hurts too much!

Anyway, does that work when there are 7 of us? Obviously, we owe them quite a bit more...like about $15,000. UGH!

I hope you feel better. The darn flu does clog up your brain functions.

I am in the planning/booking stages for a 5day trip to WDW! Just my parents and I (Brendan can't go )but I think this will be nice for my parents and I..last trip just us before Brendan and I get married....Plus I didn't think I was getting to the world this year! whoo hoo!

And I am gearing up for a meeting at work tonight a co worker says I have a "tone" so she wants to meet with me to straighten it out!(Now my bosses have no problem with my work performance!)Arggh!

Well, we got back from the drs a while ago and dd has the beginnings of streep. Dr said it wasn't that bad yet, but it was good that we caught it! So I have a very long weekend. They gave dd some Motrin and her fever is down and she is perking up. She's on amoxicillin for the next 10 days. I've been trying to get her to take a nap and well that's not going so good! But she looks alot better and I'm glad we headed off worse.

Bummer- at least it was caught quickly. Hope your DD is feeling better soon!

Looks like I get to join your club!!! I had two moles removed last Tuesday. The one I thought was bad as it was scaly turned out to be nothing..... but I had a pretty little beauty mark and doctor said that had to be removed too. It was no biiger than a straight pin head.

I just got a call today(I went back Tuesday for stitch removal but no results). The margin was not clear so rather than be sorry later....I have to go back and get a larger hole too!!! Maybe we could just use play dough to fill in our holes.

I think it is so great that you are going on this cruise by yourself.

My foot fell asleep is the reason behind my torn ligament. I tried to walk on it and I heard a big snap!!! The soft cast I still use is just like a brace!!! I can predict when rain is coming!!

The kids were uncontrollable leaving school. Snowball fights the 1st step out of school today.

REAS, try to help on that, and suggested when it comes out for 2009, check the package ensure it hasn't changed, another post back, 'its never changed, spoken to DCL'. Actually it has, rain-forest pass for couples massage for example, booking with DCL direct and Debbie, now on-line.

And the big one, there is a disser who lets say isnt into European cruising, and feels strongly the American family market do not cruise in the Med.

My family is going Mac . My DS has both as needed for business, but when my DD needed a new computer, he got her a Mac mini. She loves it. The Captain has gone with a Mac as well. Maybe he will respond.

Yuck, the nerve of some people. It is so frustrating trying to help people and they don't appreciate it! Its not like we are Disney employees and we have the inside scoop. (At least not officially!). We appreciate any advice anyone has to offer.

They are probably the same people the give a super low rating to a certain hotel because the airline lost their luggage!

Today was the 5 year anniversary of the card. They gave us really neat gifts.
A duffle with insulated bottom, blanket,lithograph, some pins and a gift card. Sad to say when I saw the van outside I knew there would be no Mickey Bars.
They gave out the rice krispie ones with the chocolate on the ears.

I hate taking pictures.
but they insisted.

Chris (grandmax3) did the Med repo by herself. She wasn't really by herself since she had me, my mom, and Todd's (DisneyVegas1) family. But she was traveling without her own family. She LOVED it. It was a very relaxing cruise for her.

I've heard that Palo has had solo diners, but there's always the possibility of linking up with someone else. Chris joined my mom and I for dinner. Then there's group brunches and high tea to join in on.

I try to help out on the DL board. There's a poster on there that I swear just has to contradict everything I say. I know its not personal because I've never met this person. But any thread I'm involved in, I know that as soon as I see her ID, she's going to say I'm wrong or her answer is better. I haven't put her on ignore yet, but I might.

Ok, just thought of a new task force.

For those of us traveling solo or single parents or anyone who has a spouse that doesn't want to do Palo.

Let's link up for dinner one night. I don't know how to make it happen, but if anyone knows, can you tell me please? I'll also ask around. We might have to wait until we get on the ship. I don't think we can get the private dining room for dinner, but depending on interested maybe we can get 2 or 3 tables of 4??

I was begging them to do a bikini wax when I had an epidural when DD was born but, no go! For as much as we pay they should be fanning us with palm branches.
