hehe....gotta have some fun at the kids NPIF table :rotfl:

Can we also have a toga party?

Coral,
I hope all works out well. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Keep up the positive attitude. As I understand it this is one of the most treatable forms with a very high success rate.

Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me. I have a job interview next week. It is with the same firm, but a different office and position...and hopefully a raise. My current department is not big on upward mobility. I am pretty much at the top.

More ice and snow here today - yuck. So much fun slip sliding to work this morning.

Good luck Terri.....keep us posted

I just found out today that we have $50 more in onboard credit than we thought we did! :thumbsup2  :cheer2: :woohoo:

I came across another thread where someone said that the DCL onboard booking credit for the repo cruises is $250. Probably everyone else knew this, but we thought it was only the usual $200!! :confused3 When we "booked" on board the Magic last January, it was the cruise where they announced the panama cruises and when we asked at the rebooking desk they said they could take our info and we would be automagically booked on the 31st. It sounded too good to be true, but we went ahead and did it and it actually worked out (much to our surprise!). At that time, the booking agent didn't know what the credit would be but said she thought it would be the usual $200 since these cruises "are usually pretty popular" :rotfl2: and extra incentives wouldn't be needed!!! :lmao: I've just been assuming that number all along. When I read the $250 number I contacted our Dreams TA (poor lady - I bugged her yesterday also with the PIF business :rolleyes1 ) and she confirmed it and double-checked with DCL that it was on our reservation.

I'm still recovering from the stupid flu, but for some reason this just made me feel really good :lovestruc

Pamela

:woohoo: :woohoo: That was a nice surprise for you:woohoo: :woohoo:

Yes, this has been a particularly nasty winter. And it isn't over yet.

SWMBO and I have been talking about cruising in 2009 but that will wait until after Europe (21 days, 23 hours, 28 minutes). 2009 vacation budget might be going to finishing the basement though...

J.R. I didn't realize your Europe trip was so close. Hope you all have a great time.:goodvibes

Well I hope you take some time out and enjoy the beach too:goodvibes

I will check it out, just to say I did. It will be hard till my foot recovers. This boot is hard and not easy to wear.

Not Joisey but Brooklyn!

Edited to add: Well, not just Brooklyn but just about anywhere in the 5 boroughs of NY.

My Dad was born in Brooklyn. I still have alot of family all over those boroughs and Island.
Well time for me to get back to packing & cleaning. Have a good night y'all.

Is anyone else watching this silly Do's & Don'ts of cruising?

Don't arrive early?? Are ya kidding?

:confused3 The pilgrims wore togas? :confused3

Animal House reference - Monica mentioned food fight and it made me think of John Belushi starting the food fight, which of course made me think of the toga party!

Oh then I do have a chance for a run at those hammocks on Castaway.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I have never had a problem getting one but was very surprised other people did?

So pretty I just had to pirate:

I need confirmation from someone else................I know this to be true because I witnessed it myself. If you go to Castaway at the Adult beach has anyone ever gotten lobster tails and t-bone steaks???

If any lobster tails left over from formal night they grill them at adult beach. Right there in the open. So has anyone else eperienced this? Also do we have alot of people who like lobster? Hoping for some leftovers.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sounds wonderful, but I didn't experience it. Then again, I don't think there was much left after 6 days at sea.

I thought I was going to make it through this winter without getting the flu, but no such luck.. Got sick on Sunday with fever, cough and chills and finally woke up this morning without the fever so I went into work. Luckily I didn't have too much at work to catch up on. Of course catching up here was a different story:laughing:
I just skimmed through the last 15 pages or so. So glad there wasn't a pirate run.

Sorry to hear you had the flu:hug: Hope your day back today didn't wear you out too bad and you get feeling better:goodvibes
