I would never take one out to the ports . . . just too bulky . . . I will just use mine to get beverages onto the ship . . . you could use it for bottled water and save money as well . . .

The large quantity of alcohol kills the germs . . . that's my story and I'm sticking to it . . .;)

Exactly what I was going to say! :goodvibes

Tomorrow I will try to post a few pictures of my middle daughter (13) from the middle school musical, which had its first performance tonight. . . the musical was "Peter Pan" and she was . . . Captain Hook! (it's an all-girls' school . . .) She wouldn't tell me anything about her costume in advance, but I was quite taken tonight to see that it was much more Capt. Jack Sparrow than traditional Capt. Hook:goodvibes . . . my youngest (10) was one of the lost boys and she was cute, too. I will try to post something tomorrow.

regular spiders I can do. Tarantulas? no way ! :scared1:

We have them here in OK and you haven't lived until you seen tarantula "Mating Season"! We were going out to the bosses house in the country and we saw something ahead of us on the road. It was at least 200 of the hairy little suckers running across the road. And later that evening there was more of them "swarming" around the yard. It was like being in a horror movie!

There is no way I would have made it to the bosses house. Would have done a U-Turn and floored it.

Cool:cool1: :thumbsup2

Was it like the Broadway Peter Pan ( I think I saw that with Sandy Duncan).

OK i swear Jet Blue is attempting to make me miss my plane....

We started out on an 8:20 am outgoing non-stop flight to CA.

Doh....:headache: now they combined the two non-stops in the am to 7:45 am. (I guess it could be worse. At least flight #'s are the same so my seats are still intact.)

Dang she shows up when least expected!!

I'M INNOCENT I TELL YA!!!
Pure as the driven snow

Yep..that one would have had me turning around, too. Just like the swarms of baby scorpions. I can only handle one creep at a time.

Thanks Stace... here's something extra that might come in handy if yer gonna hang out with me on "MY" side of the fence in this virtual neighborhood:

And regretfully, I have some confessions... I am not going to make the DIS meet in a couple of weeks. It seems as of TODAY we are now committed to be out of town to join my Brother in Law and his family as they are traveling to meet us too. So, I was pausing while these plans unfurled - or folded. For a while I was not sure if it was going to happen or not... and my BIL called to confirm and United airlines (our familys' preferred airline for frequent flyer milage) has the LOWEST priced fares from Boston to San Diego on that weekend... it's only $368 so it looks like a done deal now for thm to come out. Plus the hotels seem reasonable with easy availability that weekend.

So, sadly I must say I'm sorry to not make such a close and convenient opportunity to "hang" with so many nice neighbors in advance of our sailing. DRAT! However, we might be able to pause on our way home on SUNDAY to meet anyone who might be game for a casual dinner or snack as we pass Disneyland while going north for home. Alas, this is a long shot since it's not an official meet opportunity... and I'm sure everyone will have better things to do than to divert ta meet my family for a snack outside of DL just after sunset Sunday.

So, I'll take a raincheck on the frozen bananna ... or I'll be perfectly happy to get a Mickey Bar when we're embarked... as ya knooo.... the PRICE of a Mickey bar will be "right" on the ship ....

Did anyone get the Passporter email today?
Jennifer has some great instructions to do a blog and post pictures- all from the IPhone. I followed the instructions and actually very easily managed to email myself a picture taken from my phone. I might actually use another feature besides the phone on my IPhone yet.
Don't have any songs on the IPod part, don't bother using the internet unless I am in a wi-fi spot and I have no idea what else the heck my phone can do. Just remembered I do use the camera part.
The PC support guys at work have the same phone and when I ask them a question they just roll their eyes. Apparantly I am not worthy in their eyes to have one.
I tried to ask them how I try to get the horn blasts from DCL as my ringtone. That resulted in a very long set on instructions which left me right after they said "wake up the phone". :confused3 Beyond that...blah, blah, blah........

Coral, I just got the horn as my ring tone. If you didn't get it yet, check out post #12 by Disney Dudette on this thread. The ringtone was free, the only cost was about $0.50 charged by my phone company for the data download.

Monica, you'd said that you think Friday will be really crowded....will spring break have started by then or has Disneyland simply gotten to be like Las Vegas, busy all the time??

I was hoping, like Todd, that Friday and Monday wouldn't be too terribly bad.

Canadian Spring Break starts on the 15th. There are a lot of people that head for DL at that time from here. Might not be too bad with Easter making it a bit longer break. Unfortunately, we won't be part of mass heading down at Spring Break this time. :sad2:

I miss you Crash!!!

Would ya believe me if I said I miss you too! Plus everyone and everything that goes on here too! I've been too "off balance" with things ta loiter as much as I used to before DEecember. And I know I'm only about 90% caught up (if that).

At any rate, I seem to be gradually recovering free time to wander here - and my spirits are somewhat normal again. I saw our friend again yesterday - the one who had the surgery as she was picking up her son at pre-school... she was smiling and radiant in spite of her illness. We spoke of meeting up at the Ronald Regan Library for their Easter Celebration. They host dozens of crafts and games for the kids, plus there are freebies (like Magic Mountain Passes the last 2 years running), and live entertainment and so on. A good clean crowd if ya know what I mean... So we're gonna do a picnic and attend as usual the past 2 years with them. Really, though... it's sad yet uplifting in the same moment.

At any rate, so much for my somber rut.

SO... I'm dining on left overs from the last few days. I got me a crab cake and a half, beef emplanadas, a semi-gourmet steak (NY I think) and freshly made rice to go with it all. Plus we're watchin' an old Herbie (the VW bug) movie while we dine. Oh... the kids get freshly made fixins' ... I get the old stuff. Ooo... I think I need somethin' ta drink now... excuse me amoment while I go fetch something from the fridge....
