Lisa, we were only on a 3 day and there just wasn't enough time! Hopefully we'll be able to fit one or two on the TOAL.

Kev and I have been on 2 so far(3 and 7 day) and haven't been to any of the shows.

Plane from Palm Beach to Chicago diverted to Miami, with a severe mechanical problem i.e nose gear or door is not working correctly & they are burning off fuel before landing in appx. 10 minutes.

American Airlines flight 862

Hope they are ok, We had a BA flight come into Heathrow, and the fuel wasn't correct so it crash landed early, just before the runway, all were safe.

Their nose gear broke off.

I hybernate when it snows! You can probably tell since I'm gabbing away here today. But damn I forgot to get rum! But why is the rum gone???

Hope they are ok, We had a BA flight come into Heathrow, and the fuel wasn't correct so it crash landed early, just before the runway, all were safe.

I'll keep you updated, but they are saying that it's a level 1 situation meaning it's not that severe, and they think they should still be able to land on the landing gear. They did a fly by & the tower says it looks like the gear is down but not sure if it's locked. They are being cautious by closing the airport & bringing out all the emergeny equipment.

Need some help here.....

My Mom and her boyfriend are in Florida for a few weeks. He has never been to WDW and has refused to go (probably due to guilt of never having taken his kids??), but my Mom is either dragging him there or got him to agree to go for one day.

She is thinking either Animal Kingdom (he's a hunter and has been on safari, etc.) or EPCOT. She wants me to scout out/suggest a few attractions for them to see/do.

Limitations: just keep walking to minimum (e.g. options for return trip by boat, tram, etc.)

Your thoughts?

SWince he's done the real thing, might want to stay away from AK to avoid less than complimentary comparisons. But, EPCOT requires a lot of walking. Frankly, the best thing to do is to describe both parks and ask him which he'd enjoy more.

M, Kylie has a good handle on the 3 turns, mohawks, waltz jumps and one foot spins....but she REALLY wants to shoot the duck! Just doesn't have the core strength yet. She gets loves watching the "big girls" do it, and it's so cute to see her try.

The taller you get, the tougher shoot the duck is! I swear by the time a skater is about 8, an axel is easier than shoot the duck.

I second Diane's thoughts on Epcot. IMO the most adult of the parks. Unique food, good beverages, enough non-thrill rides to go on.

It can happen but I suppose its like those helicopters chasing one bad driver down the freeways, they happen all the time but its live TV. I think all airports have plans for this our one recently was well controlled by the pilot.

They have to do ''balanced'' reporting on that, not to upset relatives watching who will be concerned. But they want you to watch!

The pilot kept the nose up to the very last second. Amazingly smooth!
