8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC #2

My dh and ds are interested in doing the outdoor adventure in PV, which is a DCL excursion. This was appealing to them because it also includes rappelling down or beside a waterfall, and the description says it is the "highest and longest zip line in all of Mexico".

My question......does anyone know what company this is with? Do you think DCL would tell me this info if I called? I would like to do some research on it before we book it. TIA!

Paula, ya see this? You have an opinion on Los Veranos versus the one you were citing? It looked like you's offerred a BUNGIE JUMP and super swing across a canyon at 120 KPH ... but someone else said it offerred no shade so might be HOT? I do like the potential $50 per trio price... or might it be cheaper if we booked a group?

Ah, but I have been here a very long time, and also have my commitments to UK Dis as well, just compare my post count to Crash or Verandah man and you will see they have a far higher average post rate than me.

So Andrew, it seems that you DO in fact have a far higher AVERAGE POSTING RATE then I ... (10.05 versus my 7.47 per day) ... and even slightly more then Andy who is averaging 9.76 per day.

BTW... Anyone else notice Andy has NOT posted once to the new thread yet?!

LG this reminded me of something......We have been playing Guitar Hero III and my DD was determined to get through "Slow Ride" before she would move on to another song. We must have heard that song 50 times, all ending with her getting boo'd off of the stage (on the game, that is). Well, she FINALLY made it through the song, and got the 'YOU ROCK!' message. She was so excited, too. Now she is onto "Hit me with your best shot". That game is so fun & addictive!

The kids and I bought Guitar Hero for DW for Christmas. It is a heck of a lot of fun and efinitely addicting.

Pretty cool Julie It doesn't look like Cabo Wabo is too far of a walk.

I thought it was farther than that! Doesn't look far at all. And I agree with others that instead of staggering back a cab might be in order.

That's good - I need some motivation. This is the last week of our very busy time of year. I have to make tons of programming changes for our clients for the new year. I am SOOOO ready to go back to my part time hours. Going from part time to 60 hours a week is always a shock on the system. I have been doing it for 17 years here but still takes a toll.

Anyone ever flew Air Tran before? I made reservations for our June WDW trip last Friday. Got the confirmation on Friday too and they still have not charged my credit card. I would prefer to pay it and get it over with. That is the great part of this time of year- more money to pay for play.

Flew them last summer. They are no frills, but we didn't need much. They seemed just like Southwest, except you do get seat assignments. I don't remember a delay in charging me though??

Looks like there is a break in the storms - so I'm packing up and going to drive to L.A. tomorrow.
Have to run out & do some errands - like pu dog food!!

I can't do zip lines - I can't even go on some rides in DL. Don't know if DH or DD want to try it.

Todd - Paul saw Sammy Hagar not too long ago - driving his Ferrari in Corte Madera (here in Marin County) That was Sammy driving the F - not Paul - although doesn't he wish!!

Universal Hollywood VIP Tour Info

I dont know about you guys but I have this sinking feeling that DL is going to be way crowded on Saturday August 16th , So we looked at other options to fill our day , well we found one and I thought I would share with you what we found ....Its the Universal Studios VIP experience ...I am a huge Movie goer and I know some of Pirates was shoot at Universal so I am looking forward to actually getting close to some of the sets ....Take a look at this Link ...We signed up for the 10am tour on Saturday Aug 16th ..I know there is still room for more if your interested ....They dont charge your card till 2 days prior so we reserved it ....Should be a great day

There is supposed to be a good place near the Melia (ME) on Medano Beach in Cabo. It is right in front of a beach shack called caboticket.

Also at the SandBar, on Medano Beach in Cabo you can get a service called "Get Hammered While You Get Nailed" Kind of a beer/margarita/pedicure/foot massage type deal. It is also supposed to be pretty good. My wife and her friend plan on trying this in a few weeks when we are down there for our annual timeshare visit.

I have been thinking about Andy as well -- maybe he has made a conscious decision not to post here as we get closer to the cruise -- I know I would have a hard time hearing so much about a cruise I had planned but would no longer be taking. I don't know that this is the case, but I think we should just let him show up if he feels like it!
