... I was actually subtly suggesting the domino effect was still a possibility since the only two who MIGHT have the same sort of illness at the same time are Alicia and Kalea. And I'm getting achy and feeling simply wierd (physically and a bit mentally... but some might say Im always in a wierd mental state...).

OK... excuse me - but my little one is actually asking me to GO and make her a cheese melt - and leave her to watch The Brave Little Toaster by herself a few minutes. Gotta go whip up a cheese sand fer her now...

Shes' sort of "hot" now as I wait fer the Juvie Advil to kick in - and I'll make myself a nice ham and cheese sand too.

I enjoy the pictures people post, Crash's photos always give me a good laugh and I enjoy people sharing the good and want support for the bad in their daily lives. This is a community of friends. Not everyone may know about David's family not going -- I didn't until he started posting today on the 5 day cruise meet . . . anyone like me who was out last night and didn't catch up missed the news.

I don't even know the entire story, but just that for family reasons they have canceled this repo and booked on the Sept. 1st 5 night Magic cruise right afterwards.

HEADS UP for people possibly arriving at the Port late on August 17th.

My TA just informed me. Home Land Security just issued new rules. All passengers for cruises must be checked in and cleared 90 minutes prior to the ship sailing.

I absolutely love GS Thin Mints (with milk ), but getting them is hard -- there truly aren't that many girl scouts in Manhattan. Once I was in New Jersey for the day and found some girls selling them, and I bought 10 boxes and froze them!

My secretary is taking orders now (well, technically her daughter). Got 2 thin mints and 2 peanut butter somethings. Then the girl across the street was taking orders and wife ordered a fww thin mints and others. Then at Cub Scouts DS10's den leader's daughter was taking orders....

And I have this fantasy of losing weight....

Oooo.... that wuz a GOOOOD Black forest Ham n' cheese sandwich... and my little one just polished off her entire sandwich. Thta's the MOST shes' eaten in 2.5 days for ONE sitting! I wonder if she's feeling better in spite of her temp? I can still feel her excessive warmth through my shirt as she leans against my tummy here.​

I don't know what the offer was, David -- but if my children were grown, I know I would never want them to deny themselves something they had planned and hoped to do, in order to accommodate me . . . On the other hand, this sounds like it's already a done deal . . .

Well, that's what I would like to know -- if they can figure out it, what are the factors that contribute to the boards being slow -- not rumors, but what really does contribute -- and what can we do to improve it? Then we could enjoy ourselves and just make a few changes to help things out.

Well... for chuckles we now are 14 hours and 8 minutes into the life of this thread... we've had 1793 visits and 219 postings (excluding this one). That works out to 219 postings in 848 minutes - or about 1 new posting every 3 minutes and 52.33 seconds. This projects out to a tame 371.9 postings per day .... and with roughly 205 days til embarkation from the origin of this thread ... this implies we'd have about 76,239.5 postings. Which means we'd be on thread #9 if the moderators capped our threads at 10,000. AND this is without counting the mad fluff that flies whenever we're near pirateing mile marking postings! Can you imagine the fluff when we approach the LAST posting (10,000th) for each THREAD? I wonder if the moderators EVER considered the antics they'd be ENCOURAGING with some of their implied changes, eh?
