speed packing finals live on Tuesday.

Just a quick one that is brought over from another thread..

Another thing to add to your packing (sorry...)

Make sure you bring cold meds with you. We all got what we affectionately call the "Cabo Crud" which was a cold that went around about the time we hit Cabo...

The store on board ONLY had Dayquil.... NO Nyquil... so I would suggest you throw something in if you think you will need it. I know CVS and Walmart both sell the boxes of Dayquil and Nyquil together... I had some and shared it with my fellow Disers who were hurting. ALSO... bring cough drops... I suggest Ricola... the cherry is very good - just in case you get a cough... better to have it than not.

Anyway... have a great time!!!

Thank you Michelle. Kevin and I always seem to catch something while on vacation. Have to remember to pack my Tylenol Cold. Already have Kev's Riccola.

Oh La Tanya, we were so looking forward to meeting another Brooklynite. So very sorry you will be missing out. I know how long you had been planning. But family does come first. So sorry for your loss.

If there is anyone who doesn't have trip insurance, please get it.

My step mother and her daughter called yesterday morning to tell us my father died. I asked when they were planning to have the funeral and they said Friday. I got a call later saying the family has decided to have the funeral on SUNDAY instead.

So I had to cancel. I'll get a refund. DCL refunded half yesterday and I have to turn in calm forms to the insurance company for the balance.

Since I didn't book airfare with DCL, I may be out of that expense.

Is there anyone here who hasn't purchased DL park passes yet? I have two of the three day Southern California passes. If someone needs them, they are yours (no charge). They expire on the 30. If I don't give them way, they will be wasted.

If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll overnight them before we head to South Carolina on Tuesday.

If no one here needs them, I'll try to give them away on DL board when I return.

Sorry to be a downer in the mist of all the excitement.

Does anyone know if Ducky Williams is staying on the entire cruise with us???

Since he travels with friends/family I am going to say yes. I have never heard the he hasn't before.

Well seriously- I'm doing good to wear something different (ie: not my regular type capris and black flipflop crocs)- so wearing pantyhose is just going overboard for me. LOL
Just deal with the white legs people...... just deal. LOL
(oh let me make sure I packed razors atleast........ LOL)

Ah, never assume (he said with hindsight).....my pic was shot with such a beastie last year. It does 'try' to fiddle with the color balance, and the flash helps, but.....well......

With all the DIS'ers buying the Olympus U/W cameras, maybe we need a practice session once on board lol.

Cheryl, he stayed on for the majority of the cruise - I think he got on before the PC and got off at CA I think. However, he was on for an extended length. If he was on the first week, he was VEWY, VEWY QUIET!

I love it! I will watch for him!

Cool - I think now we may look into getting some chips. There's a 98 cents store around here that used to sell some inexpensive chips. I'll have DH look into it. He's off getting his fix of poker.

Let's wish him luck so he stays out all night. I play better by myself. Wait - around here - I have to watch what I say - I like me time alone!

Just so you know - they do sell razors onboard. And with Monday being formal - just wear a long dress! (That's what I'm doing! )


Just kidding - got my legs lasered years ago - best thing I did for myself in a long while. Now I can go a couple of weeks before touching up.

As for having white legs - I just need a few hours in the sun under shade and with a sun factor of only 25 to get color!

Not to ask but did you like getting your legs lazered. I would love to do that and if we didn't have to shave anymore. Do you still have too even though you got them lazered?
