What can I say ... ???

For everyone that took the time and effort to produce these fantastic sheets -- A HUGE THANK YOU!!!

I am printing them off now and I cannot express how impressed I am AND how lucky I am to have found such a great group of people.

I look forward to meeting you on the ship and raising a glass to thank you in person!

Michele

I totally agree with Michele. You all did such a great job and I thank you so very much. I really appreciate everything and you all are such great people and can't wait to meet you all. See you soon.:thumbsup2

  :woohoo: :grouphug: :cheer2: :love1: :disrocks: :hyper2: :jumping1:

Your friend,

Happy Birthday Zack!!!

The "no stress approach" was what I was trying to use by taking a break when it wasn't working...;) I even heard my DS (he's 3) say to my DD the other day..."we should leave...mama's gonna sew again" Thanks for the idea...we will employ something along those lines I'm sure.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I get the same way when I sew. I can't relate to people who do it for enjoyment/relaxation. To me it is so frustrating.

I just wanted to say to all who worked on the journal, the Pocket Pirate and the navigator!!! You are all amazing. The work you put into this was beautiful. I printed off two copies, one to take with me and one to save for my scrapbook. Thanks again!

I think this weeks has been the slowest week for me, ever, I just hope the cruise actually goes at this speed, I still have a few more days at work, but each day feels like its 48 hours long.

I know what you mean. I cannot believe that it is only Thursday. It feels as if four Thursdays should have come and gone already this week!

I'm with you on the hope that our cruise goes just as "leisurely". :thumbsup2

Hey Dan, have you tried the new menu at French Market? I've heard that people actually like it, even though they were resistant to change. I'll be testing it next Thursday!!!

Haven't tried it yet - will be doing so in 8 days. However, as long as it's Cajon/Creole, I'm sure I'll find something on the menu that I like. :rolleyes1

Ok - it's now becoming real...

Just notified the credit card companies that I'll be traveling....

Finally realized it was 5:30, almost time for dinner, and since this was the first "sea" day, it was formal night. I needed my dress, but it was still packed in the trunk of the car.

I know what you mean.

I HATE it when I dream that my dress is in the trunk of my car!!! :rotfl:

No I cannot believe it either, I will be happy when its Friday night as my weekends always go fast! Then it will be the start of vaction week.

Thanks for the dining suggestions. I totally plan my visits to theme parks around the food!

Yeah, I view sewing as a combat sport.
DH does most of it for us. It's better that way.

Forgot about the skewers at Bengal Barbecue.
Bacon wrapped asparagus

This may be our dinner while waiting for Fantasmic

Ohh, good call on dinner!
Hmm, maybe I've found a way to get DS8 to eat asparagus.
Naaah, he'll just see it as a waste of perfectly good bacon!

Cafe Orleans
French Market

Ok, what can I say... I like Cajun/Creole food.

Me too!

I haven't tested all the links, so pm or e-mail if they don't work

M, are all the pages there?

:thumbsup2
I haven't tried the links, but all the file names seem to be there.

Salad choices

Now that's my kind of salad! All that lettuce and stuff is only there to give me an excuse to eat cheese, croutons, and dressing. :)

Latest cruise nightmare:

The first sea day ended up being a port day because we never left. And we weren't even on the ship. We had cabins out in the woods.

Spent the day shopping for all the stuff I forgot, but I don't know how I knew I forgot it because I hadn't unpacked!

Came back to the area where all the cabins were and there was a picnic table full of various cakes.

There was some comotion going on, went to check it out and Todd's family had just arrived, a day late. And Melissa was 7 months pregnant??? ((SORRY Todd and Melissa I have no idea where that came from. ))

My parents were on the trip (although they cancelled a long time ago) and all my dad did was sit around complaining about everything.

Finally realized it was 5:30, almost time for dinner, and since this was the first "sea" day, it was formal night. I needed my dress, but it was still packed in the trunk of the car.

As I was walking to the car I realized I missed the Kids Meet that I was supposed to be in charge of that morning.

Can't wait for next week....these dreams are killing me!

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Noooooooooooooooooo

YE OLDE PRINT SHOPPE

Arrrg to all ye pirates and landlubbers.

The Mini Pirates Cruise Journal be almost ready fer printin’. Our mighty Masters of the Web have it now. Stand by for an announcement.

All ye who be printin’ at home listen up! Each page is in separate seabags…arrr…file.

If’n you be printing worksheet style…just put one piece of paper in your printer – print page 1 – turn it over and print page 2 for that day. Repeat ‘til ya have all the pages or ya run outta ink…which ever comes first. This thing be 41 pages!

If’n you be wantin’ a book…print the first seabag (er file) on two pages. Stick the last page for that day back inta yer printer and print the first page of day 2 on the blank side…repeat ‘til ya have all the pages or ya run outta ink…which ever comes first. Still 41 pages! The book was designed so each day is a DPS (doubloon …arrr…double page spread ta us printers) so it should look mighty perty this way. Ya can look at both pages for the same day if’n you get it bound or stick in a 3 ring binder.

I’m just a lowly printer…and much like the other print goods, a cast of …well…tens did much of the work. Here be the crew ya have ta thank fer this:

Erin (crzy4dals)
Deanna (buckifan)
Kandi (poohsmum)
Nicole (poohmomof5)
Sarah (sarangel)
Tina (downrivermama)
Mike & Linda (cruisinMike & DW)
Penny (psm729)
Celestine (??:))
Chrissie (mkygrl)

And a few pirates who swooped in at the last minute ta save this ol’ printer:

Desiree (A Litle Pixie Dust)
Erin (crzy4dals)
Pamela (pdarrah)

And not ta ferget our mighty Masters of the Web, Tom & Ed.

Fair winds and following seas.
That is all.

To all that were involved in this great production. Thank you so much for the time, talent, and care you put into making these journals. It is much appreciated.:worship: :worship:

Johnna

Wendy,

The best thing to do is get as much rest as possible. I know it's hard to do right before a TOAL. Eat right and rest.:)

Thanks, Peter. I stopped at the grocery store afterwards and picked up a lot of fresh fruit - great grab and eat. So, just taking it easy for today.

Would the real Disney's Grand California Address Please Stand Up?

So, I plan to ship out a box tomorrow to Disney's Grand California - 1600 S. Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 9280?

The web site says 92803
USPS Zip code finder says 92802
The first hotel operater I spoke to said 92804
The second one said 92802.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm leaning towards using 92802 since it has two votes, but that's an odd way to choose.... :confused3

OK DL experts -

Where is the best counter service food in DL??
Lunch and dinner.

Discuss . . .

Golden Horseshoe in DL - absolute must this time around - missed it at the beginning of June.

We also like Hungry Bear - grab a table by the water and watch the canoes/rafts/paddlewheeler.

DCA - the broccoli soup in the breadbowl at Boudin Bakery is good

White Water Snacks - in Grand Californian is reasonably priced and a little out the way - so not as busy + airconditioned. Just go thru the entrance to the hotel by Grizzly River Run and turn left at the concourse.

Of course - don't forgot a dole whip for dessert
