I'm going to work on my FE's today while doing child care! Hopefully I can get them done!

I am exhausted..I have been working WAY too many hours...I got accused from a customer for not giving $$ back (she never gave me any-anyway!-security cameras prove that)...I have no tv so have been missing Big Brother...and

And why didn't someone tell me what a pain these ipod shuffles are? geesh. I thought I was putting songs on the thing all night long (practically) and turns out nope- gotta download itunes and junk and put it on that way. what a pain in the patootie. Ohwell- atleast it's done now so my ST can get off my back about it. LOL
I wonder- do these things only charge on PC's or will it still charge up the battery by plugging it into the laptop while on the trip? curious minds wanna know!

Checked with DD, she said that she wasn't sure about the shuffle. Her Nano can be charged on her iBook. She suggested you check on the apple.com help pages. If it can't, we'll have the separate charger with us (we each have an iPod and don't go anywhere without the charger) and you can charge it in our room.

If you think the shuffle is a pain, you should see my new iPod touch. It's going to take me a week to figure it out.

YE OLDE PRINT SHOPPE​

Arrrg to all ye pirates and landlubbers.

The Mini Pirates Cruise Journal be almost ready fer printin’. Our mighty Masters of the Web have it now. Stand by for an announcement.

All ye who be printin’ at home listen up! Each page is in separate seabags…arrr…file.

If’n you be printing worksheet style…just put one piece of paper in your printer – print page 1 – turn it over and print page 2 for that day. Repeat ‘til ya have all the pages or ya run outta ink…which ever comes first. This thing be 41 pages!

If’n you be wantin’ a book…print the first seabag (er file) on two pages. Stick the last page for that day back inta yer printer and print the first page of day 2 on the blank side…repeat ‘til ya have all the pages or ya run outta ink…which ever comes first. Still 41 pages! The book was designed so each day is a DPS (doubloon …arrr…double page spread ta us printers) so it should look mighty perty this way. Ya can look at both pages for the same day if’n you get it bound or stick in a 3 ring binder.

I’m just a lowly printer…and much like the other print goods, a cast of …well…tens did much of the work. Here be the crew ya have ta thank fer this:

Its so loud and you should have seen me and DS14 run to the car after registering him for high school. We got in the care laughing as we looked at each with dripping water and being soaked. LOL.

That was my thought exactly. I guess I know a lot "hippi's" and some who wish they were children of the 80's. And for the record--you're far from old!!



Finally, after seeing everyone else around the Denver area get rain, we finally got some rain!!! The kids were running around in the rain so excited because we haven't had a good rain in months! Before yesterday, we had only rec'd about 3 inches year-to-date and I think we doubled that yesterday. We saw manhole covers lifted up from so much runoff, kids boogie boarding down the street, etc. It was so awesome to have the rain.

Dawn-- Denver doesn't get too many tornados, but the Eastern plains do so we'll see a lot of warnings on local TV but 99 times out of a 100 they will be about 100 miles east of Denver such as yesterday.

Glad that the boys had fun yesterday. It's fine here just a little worry wart most of the time, lol. I was talking to June the other day and she said you all might want to come see Ryan DS in his parade on Saturday. I know now the time and it's around 10 am Saturday in downtown Castle Rock. We could meet in the morning and get breakfast or something.

Just let us know if you would like to come. I hope that you can, it's going to be a really big band and they are awesome.

Reminds me of our wedding reception. We had an open bar for the wedding party and parents. I think the bar tab came to $36.

Reminds me, I grew up with a guy who played in the NHL. When he got married, he & his fiance paid for the reception at a swanky downtown hotel (my parents went). His folks insisted on doing the traditional thing as the grooms family (at least in our area) & picked up the bar tab. FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS later...

OMG went thru something simliar recently. eldest DD had to get some shots recently (tetanus booster/etc.) and then shortly afterwards youngest DD had to have a well visit. Oh she asked did she have to get shots too- and ofcourse I said OFCOURSE NOT.......
and I was wrong.
I was the most hated mom on the planet that day.
The perfect "bribe" for my youngest is a trip to the dollar store. Fries don't cut it anymore.

My shuffle can be charged on either my desktop or my laptop. However you have to have iTunes downloaded on both and the liscenses for the songs has to be approved for both computers. Don't ask me how, I barely got through it.

I was at DL last night at 11pm and it was 78 degrees still and just beautiful! When I left for work this morning at 8 it was 76 degree's....LOL

promptly. Everyone is paid in full. Coach Skyline buses will be arriving in

Anaheim at 8:30 am and will pick up everyone at their hotels. And Yes -

there will be a stop to pick up "supplies"!! However, they don't allow food

and drinks on the bus - so no Breakfast Burritos/etc please.

Is anyone else feeling like the closer they get to this trip the more things are going wrong?

Trying to make FE for our door...been working on it off and on for a week...today finally threw in the flag. We may well have a WM bag.
But, I should mention that thanks to Lisa...our door will not be naked.

DH has been out for knee surgery for a month, still haven't gotten any of his disability pay. And, the IRS is still processing our tax...they don't really want to give us our refund apparently.

Just about ready to climb into bed and pull the covers over my head. Probably would, but it is supposed to be hot here today.

OK---vent over. Now back to your previously scheduled broadcasting.

Latest cruise nightmare:

The first sea day ended up being a port day because we never left. And we weren't even on the ship. We had cabins out in the woods.

Spent the day shopping for all the stuff I forgot, but I don't know how I knew I forgot it because I hadn't unpacked!

Came back to the area where all the cabins were and there was a picnic table full of various cakes.

There was some comotion going on, went to check it out and Todd's family had just arrived, a day late. And Melissa was 7 months pregnant??? ((SORRY Todd and Melissa I have no idea where that came from. ))

My parents were on the trip (although they cancelled a long time ago) and all my dad did was sit around complaining about everything.

Finally realized it was 5:30, almost time for dinner, and since this was the first "sea" day, it was formal night. I needed my dress, but it was still packed in the trunk of the car.

As I was walking to the car I realized I missed the Kids Meet that I was supposed to be in charge of that morning.


Can't wait for next week....these dreams are killing me!

I have seen pictures where people will even hang a small gift bag as a FE, and it actually looks pretty cute! Maybe you could even find a pirate themed gift bag. I wouldn't stress over it, though!
