Have you tried Gatorade???:confused3 Grandchildren's doctor said if you can't get pedialite down.....give them Gatorade!!! :thumbsup2 Much better flavors than the pedialite.;)

I always wondered if we could just use gatoraide, or what the difference is. She typically doesn't like that either though. I was just trying to get her to drink something other than water since I've heard that too much water is really bad for little kids. But water is what she wanted... Kept dragging me over to the fridge for it.

Ok, I am confused everyone. Doesn't the cost of shipping big, heavy boxes cost about the same as the $25 fee for the extra bag?
I would like to do this if it is more affordable, but I can see it racking up a cost for me as much as doing an extra bag, and I don't think it would be that heavy either. :headache:

We'll be shipping mostly things that won't be coming back with us,like FE stuff, sample size soaps, toothpastes, etc.

Well set it up for a one time payment through your bank just for this time while you'll be gone.

I have an elph. It's the 800, but same thing. I also had another one before this one. I have never had any trouble with recharging the battery and prefer these because they're smaller and I don't have to fuss with bringing tons of extra batteries. I've only ever had the batteries run low if I have it set to use the flash all the time (so I turn off the screen when this starts to happen). I haven't ever had an extra battery. This one can take up to a couple of hours to charge.

Thank you. I am guessing since this is the second camera you have had in that line that you have been pretty happy with it. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I do like the fact that with this camera you can actually turn off the screen because it has a viewfinder. So many don't have that anymore and in bright sun, it is sometimes hard to see the screen.

I have a pre-cruise/CA hotel question. I know that it has been discussed before, but when sending a package to one of the DL hotels, what do you include on the outside? Name, Ressie #, dates of arrival/stay... anything else? Since we will be there starting the 14th when would be the best date to send it off? Who would you use? PO, UPS, Fedex?

Also, I would like to thank all my fellow pirates for all their hard work in organizing, planning and everything else you have done/are doing to make this a truly magical vacation.

We're staying at HoJos. Just got off the phone with them and all they require is guest name,confirmation/ressie number is nice to have. We'll be sending ours off tomorrow,we arrive late on the 15th.

When our DD's were younger, the DR said if we went with GATORADE dilute it to half strength.

Yes I love it. The first one that I had was starting to just be way too slow, so after DD was born, we decided to upgrade. We briefly looked at other cameras, but went back to this one. It's nice and small and takes some really good pictures.

Random Interjection:

In a continuing effort to not get ready, I just ordered some new carry-on luggage with wheels. Every trip I go on, I stuff my laptop and whatever in a backpack and wait for my shoulder to fall off as I drag it through airport after airplane after hotel. It's usually even worse on the boat, as you always have to cart your carry-on stuff to lunch the first day, and breakfast the last day, when they take your regular luggage.

Yay spinner wheels! Scoliosis no more!

Spinner wheels are fantastic!!! They saved us so much trouble in Italy last summer. You can wheel it right next to you, in front of you, etc... I'm not bringing that set on this trip because we won't have to move it much and I don't want it to get too beaten up!

I know what you mean about the bills...dh is already worried -- we won't get home untilt he night of the 4th...... In the past when we were gone this long we would have our bills mailed to us (picked up out of our mailbox and then mailed) so, that we could pay them whereever we are...... I don't think we can get mail on the ship! LOL!

I'll be making mine out ahead of time and handing them over to my Mom to mail. I usually put a post-it note with the mailing date on them, that way I don't have them hitting the bank too early.

I just jumped on the kids thread by accident (don't worry I didn't post any smart add comments)

This is what I saw:

"the hippi is mad shmexy, LOL"

and all I could think was OMG, I've been gone too long, I don't even know what language they're speaking :rotfl2: Turns out I'm just old (thank god)

Here are our trip shirts.
