ALSO do we have to put a country code for cards mailed in our ports?

Sorry..I ment I can't use US postage on the postcards from the ship.

Those really were the days! It was a truly amazing time and the beginning of one heck of ride. It is so hard to believe that what was once over 18 months away is now almost here!

ETA - sitting here thinking about this made me think of this old Beatles song - I think it sums up this time rather well:

Laurie -- I can't believe we are about to see each other again! Wasn't it two years ago? I can remember you coming to me in the terminal and saying "Are you Bellelinus?"

Oh No! Have spent the last 4 days in the hospital with DH. Drs. say he had a TIA (mini stroke). No lasting difficulties that we know of, but still running lots of tests. Hope they okay us for the cruise. Everything is bought and DD10 is already packed. I have lots that won't get done. Might be the worst dressed but as long as we're on the cruise...

Oh I hear ya....we had to have the plummer out recently to clear 2 lines...cha ching! Then our gas stove top broke, caught on fire (small one luckily), so DH turned off the gas and took it out, but I don't have time to shop for a new one...mainly because it will turn into more then just a replacement stove top because I've been wanting a new oven & stove top for years. So I've been using my electric skillet alot and we have been BBQ'ing more then normal! It will have to wait til we get back and I can put some thought into it all.

I must say...if it had been our TV...DH would have been at the store that night buying a new one!

I didn't notice! Thanks for pointing it out, Andrew -- perhaps we can taunt each other a few more posts and make my 5000th a typical one . . . this time last year we were in Marseilles, right?

Yes we were getting near to the end of our wonderful trip, I had a private tour, without Sallie and Jimmy for once, and we had a loverly lady guide take is into the country and Avingon and then to Cassis, and we had a great boat trip and french meal there.

She gave us Walkie talkies, no other private tour did that, so if we wanted to go quickly she would come back, and if we wanted to stay longer we could.

You could do the odd banter to get me up to 20,000 thats only 300 off.

ok...why can't we use US postage from the ship? I don't remember that one, but I better figure it out now.

I had asked awhile back and was told from Panama ..you have to buy the postage (I was told it was offered on the ship) and from Castaway Cay - yuo have to use the postage for that Country.

So..we only bought a couple since it is from WDW for a couple of days.

You know, we leave early Saturday morning, so we will have to banter quite a bit this week to get you up 300 posts! Even though I basically have everything ready at this point, I do feel there are still alot of loose ends to tie up before Saturday. We will be at the beach (Hyatt Huntingdon Beach) until Tuesday, and then are likely to run into you at some point at the DLH or the parks . . .

It doesn't matter what you do or don't wear or the things that don't get done - the most important thing is your DH's health. I hope the doctor clears him for the trip.
