Well, In Colorado it's 1:30 AM and I can't sleep. Not feeling good but I am ok. I hope everyone is all well. I hope that Monday went fast for you cause it did for me. Getting some FE's and SM stuff my day went good. Then had to go to the doctor's today. Just have to do follow-up stuff when we all come back Yah..Then fixing the the post cards alittle more.

I just can't sleep.. but I should go to sleep cause I need it. Yikers...

Yah I am the same way can't sleep and when everyone else is asleep it's kinda my time. It's nice and quiet. I have alot on my mind too. So many things to get done. With post cards, FE, SM stuff and oh my packing and getting DD shoes (dressy kind) I guess I am stressing about that and money ect..LOL.
Then kinda health issues with me but I am ok and all.

I just want everything to go smoothly and I am sure that you do as well. Plus we are like that commercial when they get the to go to Disneyland and you can hear the horses coming and everyone is laying in bed so excited. Remember? That maybe us...LOL

I am assuming since the West bound rec'd one that we will. Just in case..I want to be sure. Laura stated that the one she rec'd was 16x20. So I am getting a larger one. I figure I can save the navigators and such in it if I don't get a litho.

Bigger than a pringles tube, but I think I have one that long in my "gift cupboard". Something else to squeeze in!

I just received and email from my TA who said that just today there has been a change in the rule about rebooking a cruise while onboard then changing the dates. He will send me something later after he gets additional information. I'll let you know what he says.

but I read further and it's all about not able to change it after the paid in full date-and that doesn't affect me so I'm okay with that.

WOW!!!! The Navigator is exceptional and the Room Directory will be invaluable.

DL Commando style!!

Well we're not going SUPER commando style- just going commando style when we're there. KWIM? cause we don't know how to actually be IN the park and not going commando style. LOL But we don't plan on going every day... we're going to the parks every other day- the other days spent at the hotel. It's just that realizing they are open till midnight... well we're nightowl kind of people (except DH who won't be arriving till Friday night anyway) so I'm sure we'll be there till midnight. We might not be there at opening though. LOL

Having traveled quite a bit, I can grasp it. Airports have become chaotic, exhausting, high stress facilities. Airlines are completely unforgiving in terms of push-back time. Connections are often way too tight. Stress + Rush + Exhaustion is a formula guaranteed to lead to mistakes.

Having chaperoned a number of youth group trips, I truly believe that our not leaving anyone behind was as much a matter of luck as skill. There was this one time... well, it's funny in hindsight... suffice to say that we didn't know for sure if we had everyone until we landed....

Chaperoning groups of children who did not come from your body- I can grasp that maybe happening.... maybe. but there's not a way in the world I'd forget my own child. Luggage or a purse or laptop- maybe.... child that came from my body- no way.

If the child was older I would be a little more forgiving...and there were only 5 children..... Even though my children are spaced apart in age when our older 2 were young I kept my sister's children total kids - 7, 3, 2, 1 and then a little later when they were....9, 5, 4, 3 & newborn. So, I know what is is like to go many places with young children.
A 3yr old would have been *assigned* to someone -- in our house DH keeps up with all young children in busy, public places.

I agree- except i'm the one assigned the youngest.. dh hands on the oldest (until they got too old to need to hold their hands) but our eyes are always on them. Like I said- we may forget a suitcase or something..... easily. But not a kid! LOL

OK so did anyone else count their magnets or am I just nuts? Do they have a +/- 5% rule? We're short 6 magnets on our order... Should I argue this with them?

Wow I thought you'd close out the thread this weekend while I was gone. I'm terribly disappointed! We visited my parents and various other family members for the weekend for my niece's 2nd birthday. My niece likes to explain stuff to my DD (19mo). DD was having fun playing in the mud.

If you look closely, you'll see dirt in her teeth...Ugh! She won't eat food but she'll eat dirt.

I also found some sand toys that will fit in the suitcase for $1 on clearance at Walmart!

Oh man I so did not count mine. I wonder if I have all of them! There should be how many that were ordered!

SHE IS TOO PRECIOUS! eating dirt and all!

And here I thought I was done with magnets?

I got a lot more done today- although no I am NOT completely packed but that's impossible right now since we're still wearing or using some stuff that will have to be packed. LOL
Busy taking Ruby back and forth to marching band "camp" (3 a day practices- basicaly practicing from 8am to after 9pm with small breaks just enough time to get her and go home for her to eat then take her right back) and trying to get other things done.
Things keep getting added though! Seems ALL THREE KIDS decided their feet needed to grow exponentially RIGHT NOW. I mean seriously- all the sudden outgrowing almost all their shoes and even to the point of almost outgrowing their mickey crocs I'd bought them a year ago.... with room to grow thank goodness! So we had to go running around buying new shoes (not just for the cruise- for school too!) and buying school clothes and other junk like hat. such fun (not........)

Hey I can't get piratezone- atleast the pages with the navigators- to load at all now! It keeps saying an error page. ahhhhhhhhh I'll try again later today. I looked at the but hadn't saved or printed them yet!
neverind- it's working now. figures soon as I post about it not working then it does. I especialy love the pocket pirate- it all totally rocks!

Oh I read somewhere (pirate navigator perhaps? I can't remember for sure though) about the rugby practice and then something about if you're chosen for the team you'll get a jersey.. then later mention of players or "athletic supporters".
Does this mean DH has to "try out" for the team or something?
Just need to know so I can warn him..... that he may or may not make the team. He knows nothing about rugby but he thought he was playing.. he (we) didn't know he was having try outs for the teams! LOL

What time is everyone getting to the terminal? I think you can start checking in at 10:00, but what time can you actually get on the ship?

All I know is there is NO confusion with Cape May being South Jersey.

Everyone in North Jersey says everything below Rt. 78 is South Jersey
Everyone in South Jersey says everything above Rt. 195 is North Jersey

...When I start at the pirate zone, bring up the thread, click on the download link, it moves over to the hosting site but that's when I get the error message....

Instead of clicking the download link, you need to right-click the link and select "Save Target As". Then select where you want to save the file. After it is downloaded to your PC, you can double-click the file to open it in Adobe Reader.

CRUISE QUESTION

What time is everyone getting to the terminal? I think you can start checking in at 10:00, but what time can you actually get on the ship?

We will actually be leaving DL around 10, I believe they start boarding around Noon.

Just checking in to say good morning, heading off to work. Only 4 more days of work before our TOAL, today, Th, F and next Tuesday. Only 9 more days till we leave for DL (now we are in single digits and the countdown really begins).

Actually started pulling clothes out and today they are going on the Dining Room table.... Let's see which one of my gems makes a comment first...

Jo, thanks for letting me know about the Dolphin Swim opening up. I was able to get a 9:45 slot in Cabo for me and the girls, now I am really excited. I have wanted to do this forever....Canceled the HB riding (which we did on our last cruise in Mazatlan), but I think we are really going to enjoy this.

lots of work to do today, so I'll stop by later..I have NEVER done a demo.. but I need to do one on Thursday.. so I am going try and figure this out.. everyone has a week of training to do this but I am stuck.. kinda feel like I just can't win on this one...but I'll try..

GOOD NEWS is that it is only 9 more work days until I leave for vacation!!!!


i have to go to the eye dr again tonight.. the story - got new glasses and I have been in 4 times for an adjustment.. Something is still not right, so when i went in on Sat for the last time, they made an appt for the eye dr to again to check the perscription to see if that is the issue... I can't wear them and I am very tired of going back to the eye place for an adjustment. I am at the point of returning them. so this is the last time i am gonna play with the eye place...

Hey, I was wondering where the heck you were just yesterday and then I saw your DH post that you've been busy with school.

Believe it or not, I'm not doing the martini tasting with the group but the wine. We'll have to get together on our own for some "adult" time and enjoy a nice one (or two ) together.

Then we'll just have to "MAKE TIME" eh?
