We also booked on Day one. Back then, everyone said that they couldn't believe we booked a vacation so far in advance. A lot has happened since then including selling a house, changing jobs and moving to a new state, but we kept that reservation and are down to 12 days before we leave.

That was one crazy morning,,,,,,,,,,,, busy signal, busy signal, busy signal, finally got through, put on hold, still on hold,,,,, all the while cabins are being grabbed up. But it was worth it!!!! (besides my DW was the one doing it)
