I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

Thanks, our flight isn't until June so I'll give it a few days. We're flying Wichita (ICT) to MCO but connecting at MSP. Not exactly the most efficient route but the times were originally pretty good and I had Delta miles that I didn't really have plans for. I don't think I've flown Delta in probably 15-20 years so I'm feeling a little out of my element. I'm very sad that SW eliminate their ICT to STL flights 😢
yes . you can cancel a points reservation and get your points back

You can cancel and get points back. Changing it'll depend, that is a significant time change.

Today is schedule change Saturday. Delta does most/all of their changes today. I would wait until at least tomorrow if not monday to deal with it if the flight is still a ways out. This way you'll be able to see all options.

They may be consolidating two flights vs moving flight times but without knowing the airports it's hard to say.

I would check what your options are and if there's a connection in a different airport that would work with better times. But I don't know how many hubs they fly to from ICT.

They may let you change it online but you may have to call to get a better outcome.

Barclays refunds the annual fee so long as it posted within 60 days of when you cancel. And yes, my AF had posted
Just closed my JetBlue card when the 99 fee posted. They used the same language and read me a disclosure.
My Barclays was supposed to be closed last month, but the rep didn't close it. Second rep did and it's been a week. I know it could be longer but I'm checking because I don't want to be over 60 days.

As for the United card, the biz is a higher SUB but I was afraid the recent DP have not been good. I may try for a biz anyway as I have no SUB to work on right now.
Good to know ill keep checking I just closed mine 2 days ago.

I need to close mine as well, but I will not hit the 1 year mark until Dec 5. Do we know when they are going to switch them to Citi?

I'm in the same boat hoping the tracker will show up since I didn't get a pop-up! I had 2 CIPs open and closed one in Sept. The CiP I still have was opened March 2025. Applied for a new CIC this week and approved instantly (after unfreezing credit and calling). It was the 90K bonus when I applied and I really need those points, so fingers crossed for all of us waiting to see the tracker.
I'm prob gonna call in next week if it doesn't show, altho I have never recalled seeing it before on (many) apps here...... so I also prob shouldn't worry bc the landing page was clear, and no pop ups....

Jetblue woes.... my DS is has been struggling to book her family, couldn't do it online, had to call etc and hassle her way thru, finally figure out why... bc she wants to buy a seat for baby under 2, it glitches and won't allow her to do that online....strange. Anyway she missed a great sale while trying to figure it out.... I'm a JB noob, but assuming they have cyclical sales etc like SWA always did? (points booking) Also wondering how difficult it is to 'change' a flight on JB (not basic) if perchance the fare drops.... I can't see how to do this via website

Planning for when my AF hits. Is there anything I can downgrade my Alaska BOA card to with no AF? I have the $95 AF one from before the merger with Hawaiian. I'd like to stay in BOA's good graces to get another Alaska card later.

Any thoughts on if this will cause issues. I have two flights booked lax to sea after my Japan flight. One is my dream everything works and the other gives more than enough time. One is dl and one as.

I realized I could also book as on aa and give me a 3rd option between the two flights I have booked. It has both an aa and as pnr. Will this cause one to get cancelled or be ok since they aren't both booked with as?

Just trying to take as much potential stress and travel time out of that day. I haven't put the pnr on as to pick a seat yet but hopefully I can do that without logging in and then the only link is my precheck #. My first and last are common enough it's hard to Google me so I'm nor worried about just the name.

I’m waiting for an 8:50pm flight home right now on jet Blue. It’s been delayed and is now saying 11:45pm departure. I’m worried it’s going to get cancelled altogether. I booked with points, but am pretty sure (hoping) I paid taxes with CSR. What do I need to know about reimbursements if it gets cancelled?

Ugh that stinks…I’m pretty sure the points go back into your account and I’d think if the flight is cancelled they would refund to the cc you used, but on personal experience

The latest text says it’s now departing at 12:23am! And net blue is allowing us to cancel or rebook.
This is a flight home for us. So can’t cancel. I’m thinking my only option is to wait it out? At this hour there are no flights to rebook for tonight. Any advice? Is there some kind of compensation at any point?

We were delayed with Jetblue before. They gave us some meal vouchers and travel credits (maybe $50 each, but memory is fuzzy).

For the CSR insurance, you would need to be delayed at least 6 hours or requiring overnight stay for a covered reason (equipment failure, inclement weather, strike and hijacking/skyjacking). Guide to benefits here.

Hope you get home soon!

The CSR trip delay benefits kick in for a delay of 6 hours or more.

I suddenly find myself in need of cruise advice for spring break. We are looking at 2 rooms on RC Symphony of the Seas. RC site has a black friday deal that seems decent. I also know I can transfer the booking to Costco to take advantage of those addiitonal benefits. Are there other sites I should check for a better deal? Any advice for RC in general or this ship?

You can try Cruise Compete and see if a TA gives a lower price.

If you have an Amex Platinum, the Cruise Privileges program will give you additional perks. You'll need a TA that works with the program (you do not need to go through Amex Travel). The deposit needs to be paid with the plat, but the balance can be any Amex.

I've closed a couple Barclays recently and they showed as closed right away. If you don't see it yet, seems likely it wasn't done right.
Thanks, it shows as closed now when I checked, but I checked immediately after the call and it didn't show as closed then. It still shows the 99 fee, though I assume that will drop off eventually?

o_O what offer could this be??? o_O
Experts.... trying to solve a mystery - sat with a friend yesterday bc she wanted help planning a Disney trip.... of COURSE this was after she booked an overpriced Airbnb that's too far away, paid cash for flights, and THEN opened a SWA cc AFTER she booked flights for "more points". (those of us in the game are now sighing deeply) Anyway, I can't figure out what offer she got that cc thru- it's a basic SWA , I think was 1-2 months back, and I see a line on statement that she got 10k bonus points as a new cardmember....
(I told her to call Chase this afternoon to ask what the exact bonus sign up was) I've never heard of such a thing
