I think I am in the minority..I think coffee is YUCKY!

Chrissie

I'm with you, too Chrissie. I love going to Starbucks, but I drink their Black Ice Tea. A Venti is 1/2 the cost of a frappachino and only takes a minute to fill up my plastic cup. Our neighborhood starbucks baristas know me when my SUV pulls up to the outdoor mike . . LO

I also like the smell of coffee (comes from years of waitressing in my youth):wizard::wizard::wizard:

Golly it's getting dark and I have to go back into the cold house. It's so nice sitting out here on my back porch. Can't wait to be sitting out on Deck 10, too :)

A few packing questions:
Looking at the weather post, I am gathering it would be a good idea to bring along a light jacket for everyone?? It looks like the mornings can be chilly... even in summer.....even in California and Mexico?

Everyone is different on how they handle the cold, but it always gets chilly at DL at night. Our first night and first day at sea we will be looking at 60's-low 70's. Of course Cheryl would look at this as a shopping opportunity. :lmao:

We are having a big night tonight. I have the tablet PC on my lap, the girls are eating soup they heated themselves, Bill is eating a bowl of cereal and we are watching "Wendy Wu, Homecoming Queen". Anyone jealous? :rotfl2:

Does anyone know what shows will be on which nights yet? We made Palo reservations for Puerto Vallarta night and I'm just wondering what we might miss. Our time will likely overlap both show times.

I mean, it couldn't have looked more like Tom and me if we actually posed for that pic in our speedos.

And after seeing all those speedo pics, I'm reminded of the saying, "Just because you can wear something, it doesn't mean that you should."

Quit making me laugh so hard.:lmao: :lmao:

Does the word commando mean anything :scared1:

Now that is a scary image!!!

OK am I the only one who wonders what Mike saw when he Googled "two guys in Speedos" ???? :scared1:

I laughed so hard that Claire (7) ran over to see what was so funny!!!:rotfl:
I know I was shocked at what I saw when I gooled *Happy Birthday Cheryl* :scared1:

Oh, yea.... Dh, 17dd & 10ds are in the office on their computers.... I'm in the family room w/Claire watching Nanny 911 and playing on the laptop! I see we both lead the LIFE!:rotfl2:

DH will not drink tea or coffee, but will drink Pepsi. His favorite was Raspberry Coke which he got hooked on in New Zealand and apparently it's ONLY available in New Zealand! And only for a few months too...

I know a lot of people that order Raspberry & Coke in bars and restaurants - they all have Raspberry syrup to add to it. I didn't realise it was an NZ thing.

I have seen Vanilla Coke here and also Diet Coke with Lime (or Lemon - I'm not sure which).

Just recently we have started having Mountain Dew in the shops again too - I hadn't seen that around for years.

On our Med cruise we had door magnets that listed various places on the ship in each row, and a column for each person in the cabin, and a box at the intersection. Then we had some small magnets to mark the location for each person. Everyone was expected to keep it reasonably up to date. Might not have been as effective as walkie-talkies, but it did serve its purpose.

I like that idea, thanks! Although I can just hear it now "I put the magnet on the arcade someone must have moved it" ;)

wow! i can't believe how fast this thread is moving!!!
the kids and i just got done doing some tie dye mickey shirts. if you don't see them on the ship, that means they didn't turn out!! LOL!!!

:lmao:

Well the last thread took 10 days to get to 251 pages, so let's see of this one can move a bit quicker pirate:

And......Row! Row! Row!

Andy

Actually...nothing says that the thread can't be locked BEFORE the 250 page limit. :) Just say the word....

So my foot and ankle is stiff and swollen. I think it is because I may have had the boot to tight on my leg. Hopefully the swelling and stiffness will go away soon. I had two days of training for work that I attended.

I hope you all had a great day.
