I received the Repo docs today.

Went online and checked with UPS. My 5-day cruise docs were sent out yesterday in a 2-day mail, so I should be getting them tomorrow. I will be a very happy camper then!

I am such a nerd. I bought new walkie-talkies for the cruise. I tried to test them out with the girls and thought I got duds because I could hardly hear anything. So when DH just tells me he needs to go check on some work being done to the perimeter fence of our neighborhood, I made him take the walkie-talkies to test them. He just rolled his eyes so he is not happy with playing twin nerd now.
I got Motorolas w/ 18 mile range(yeah, right).
Since Megan can check herself out of the kids club I just feel better to be able to keep in touch w/ her.

We are bringing walkie-talkies too... They're also Motorolas.

DD asked if I could do a Hannah Montana door magnet..I said "Sure" That was before I realized that it wasn't that easy to find pictures that were just simple. And I am not really great at creating anything. Anyways..here is the finished product..she is happy and that's all that matters!

Wristband Update!​

Just wanted to let everyone know that I finally got notification that the wristbands have been shipped! I have not been a happy camper, since I got a call on Monday from the company and found out they were just going to produce the wristbands! I was told it would be 3 weeks (which is long past). Seems that they were out of the red/black and it just came in!

Anyways, hoping that I get them tonight or tomorrow. I will spring into action and mail them out! If I get them tomorrow, I will send them out on Saturday (our PO is open till noon). This is for those of you who have requested that would like them before you leave for sunny CA!
I have everything all set, just need the wristbands to send them off.

DW & I Plus 2 kids are ready to go. Arrive in LA on the 15th From VA. Never been, so should be an interesting day before the cruise!

I can't believe I set this up over a year ago the day it became available and now it's almost time!

We also booked on Day one. Back then, everyone said that they couldn't believe we booked a vacation so far in advance. A lot has happened since then including selling a house, changing jobs and moving to a new state, but we kept that reservation and are down to 12 days before we leave.

for our Colorado folks....how is the weather in Fort Morgan?
I have no idea where that is, but DS18 pulled in there early this morning on their drum corp tour to Indiana. They have a 10 hour rehearsal there today and I know you guys were saying how abnormally hot it is right now...so just a curious mom wondering!

They leave tonight and next stop tomorrow is Des Moines, IA!

Ft Morgan is about 75 miles northeast of Denver. Not the prettiest place...looks more like Kansas than Colorado and usually windy! Not even sure if you can see the mountains from there. The good news is that the smell of money should be strong there (lots of feed lots!). And, it will be hotter the further away from the mountains you get. Unfortunately, he probably won't have the best impression of Colorado. Flat, smelly and hot!! I guess the Ft. Morgan Chamber won't let me join!

Caffeine..gotta love it! I really really tried to like coffee. Just couldn't do it as I usually like my caffeine fix cold. My elixer of choice used to be Diet Dr. Pepper. However, it seems that the diet pop just made me crave too many carbs and I couldn't keep the weight off.

So now I drink tea...will usually drink it at room temp, but prefer it iced. Found a great caffeine kick with "Fast Lane" tea from Celestial Seasons.

Take a deep breath and remember while the docs are fun to get, there isn't really anything in there that is crucial.
Make sure your TA knows you are taking your business (and your friends) elsewhere...after your docs come
