Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Just wanted to let everyone know who might be interested in making t-****'s for Mouseketer night or whatever that Mike's has Jerzees brand t-****'s on sale 5 for $10. That's $2a shirt! Youth and Adult sizes through XL.

Tina... we were gonna make some custom T-shirts for our little group of 26. However, I'm not clear as to whatbusiness MIKE's is? Maybe this is a sign that we don't have this particular business around our parts. In any event, could ya steer me in the right direction on this? Maybe I'm not the only one thinking' this so your posting might help others too...

Yes, our table mates ended up on some DCL biking excursion with her & her family and they said she was displaying some very UnDisney-like behaviour most of the day.

My DD did say that she was very nice during the Question and Answer segment she did for the kids.

Is this public persona vs. private? Looks like someone just wanted a free vacation.

Yes on the last Repo as well as a Don Ducky Litho, we got a Panama Book from DCL, and various other gifts given out in mealtime in the evening, from plastic Roses from Belle, to Car Aerial toppers from WDW.

Oh man...I need to cruise more Maybe they won't realize that there are 12 nonCC members, and just blanket the entire ship with "love"

It's the dad that made that costume!!! I swear Peter must have spent every last moment of free time (he's an ER doc, right?) the past 2 yrs on making their costumes!!! He has done a tremendous job!!!

Well a fine tailor he is. My grandfather was a tailor so I guess shame on me automatically thinking it was a woman who made that beautiful dress. If he's an ER doc, more power to him, wow!

Last thing on my iPod was Manhattan Transfer's Route 66.

3) What's your favorite reading subject and or material? IE: Fav authors, topics or magazines?
Really don't read much, but use to like the stories when you got to choose the next part - if a go to page x, if b go to page y. Granted food, wine & cheese are always on the top on the mind (usually go to Epcot Food & Wine festival annually, but not this year).

4) Do you have any favorite snacks... any with a trade name?
I really try to stay away from them. However I do keep popcorn around. At work SunChips can be a vice. Once and a while Hershey's Symphony Bar with toffee chips.

5) What does HAPPINESS mean to you?
Those little unexpected things that happen to you or you witness happening to others and they/you see the joy on your/their faces.

6) Do you sing in the shower? If so ... tell us what you last sang IF you can recall...
Normally don't sing in the shower, usually remember things I need to do or get, but then forget by the time I get out.

7) Tell us one interesting/odd fact about you.
Will have to come back to this if I can think of something better. Right now I will go with I am an only child and only grandchild (maternal).

ETA: I despise shopping - pretty much always have, even more so now as an adult.

Off to get the vaccum and what other shopping I come across.

You haven't discovered Texas Tea and moved to Beverly to be with Desiree..

And when we were living in Kansas, everyone had to ask how Dorothy and Toto were. But the worst was when someone was amazed we actually had paved roads instead of dirt roads. I guess they didn't think there's been much progress since the wagon trails.

I think therer are a whole lot of people that need to get out more!!

So I spent about 2 hours in Urgent care. I have found out that I have a fracture in my 5th metatarsal. I currently have it splinted. I have to go to an orthopedic Dr. to find out what else needs to happen. They think it will take about 4 weeks to heal. But I just saw the urgent care doc. So I may look like this on the ship

I am going on this trip, no matter what.

Not sure how I am going to get to work, as it is my right foot. I live 35 miles from my office. I have lots of activities throughout 9 counties before the trip I am supposed to attend.

Nothing like a relaxing weekend.

They are seasonal but, in the past I know we could buy them at our local council store..... If no one else has said I will be ahppy to go and check it out. And find some that don't have Chocolate in them -- I dont think that would hold up well!

You're not the only one. I'm amazed at how many people are already packing. I'm sure I'll pull out the suitcases a few days before we leave and start some packing, but then mostly frantically pack the night before.

I've got the kid (DS13) but I still am outta the loop - he's really not into that stuff. He does watch Disney Channel once in a while but he didn't know who those two girls were either.

I would much rather of seen Joey Fatone, even though I was never a boy band follower he at least is someone I've heard of

I'm with you, I would love to have Joey Fatone on the cruise. I asked my DS if he knew who Aly and AJ were and he said no, but then he watches very little Disney channel.

My cousin and her kids were in visiting from upstate NY and we hit the World of Disney store today here in NYC. My DS was very happy to get some character lovin' in. He was so excited to see Minnie dressed as the Statue of Liberty and Donald like a fireman. And he was telling Minnie how we were going on the cruise and she kept putting her hand over her mouth acting all excited.

Just an FYI there is a Character Warehouse in Fullerton...which has lots of Shirts and Sweatshirts. They are usually from DL, and DLR...but the prices are right. It is located off of the 91 freeway at Harbor.

Character Warehouse is in Orangefair Mall. That's where Debi is thinking of going.

Debi - it's too far to walk, but there is a bus that goes right to it. Route 43. Goes straight down Harbor Bl to the mall. The Character Warehouse is on the opposite side from Harbor.

Don't worry, all those items Andrew mentioned (and there were lots more than that) were given to everyone on the cruise. Returning cruisers, CC members received a fleece blanket that said Panama Canal Cruise Castaway Club 2005 and the ports I think. I read we get a tote bag this cruise so you aren't going to miss out on much.
