That's my understanding - DCL will try to match you up with other cruisers who may be close in age or have children similar ages. I have also read of tables where they are all honeymooners.

On our first cruise Brendan and I were seated with a great family of 4 with 2 kids....seating is like a box o' chocolates..you never know what you're gonna get!

I will definately be requesting some additional hangers! The majority of our formal & semi-formal stuff will already be on hangers but there will be things that I'm just going to fold & pack and want to hang when we get on board.

I wonder if the stuff you send out for DCL to iron for you comes back hangers? If that's the case, then I wouldn't need to ask for any extra.

Yes, they do come back on hangers.

UGH! I am upset because now DD is disappointed with our plans in Cabo. I finally got through to the horse stable and they told me that there is no way that we can get there for the 10 am tour if the ship is not scheduled to be in Cabo until 9:30. DD found out that we were planning to take her since she has been doing so well with her lessons this year and now we can't go. The only stable that I have found that will let kids under 10 ride is The Gold Mine Ranch in Aruba. Has anyone found any info about this place? It looks good online but I would like to make sure that the horses are well cared for and healthy. I am going to start reading through Cruise Critic to see if I can find something there. TIA!

My DD and I went to see Mama Mia yesterday. She LOVED it and I did as well. I thought it was great! I didn't realize Tom Hanks and Rita (oh I'm drawing a blank) were the Executive Producers. Let me know how you like it!

That is funny Desiree.....considering so many people dressed at DL that look like costumes (much worse then a sock hop outfit), that they let thru those gates. Some look straight out of a horror movie!

You must have looked so good, that they were afraid you would take away from the princesses.....hehehe

Should not be a problem. I am first going to Historic Towns and Tequila Mkaing Tour with Laura. We all plan to stop at Cabo Wabo after the tour(unless we get a lot of tastings).

You have to go to Cabo Wabo! I have to go to DTD and you have to go to Cabo Wabo!

What about the Halloween party event? There are adults in costume then.

Yea..Mickey's Halloween treat here they are allowed to dress up..unfortunately, this wasn't Halloween..we had gone to a dance and then went to Disneyland..just didn't think about it or I would have left the stuff in the car.

Actually , Pirate Night morning we dye , stays that way till we leave Castaway Cay , then we Strip the color out (back to normal) then I debate on wether or not I do Pirate night for the 5 day , which of course will lead to dye in the morning and strip out the color that night ... Have to keep the facial hair cause of a Ren Faire coming up and Halloween ....either way I will be getting on the ship with Blonde Facial and leaving the ship with Blonde Facial hair ..

Yes, we're doing the morning excursion at the water park. We figured after nearly 5 1/2 days at sea (with the exception of Cartagena which will be just a town tour), the kids will be ready for a day in the water park!

..& finally..we're doing the "mangroves eco tour...i was out voted...for
the women groves..& "romancing the rum"...filmed..on location set @
the casa bonita. . pssst, i still have my menu..from the one
i took a friend..to in denver. ( they even had...a "brig"..for acting out
guests...toilting the rum a lil'too much.

Glad your feeling better.. are you doing the eco tour on castaway cay?/ I have signed up for this several times and it keeps getting canceled 'cause i am the only one that wants to do this.. if your signed up then we will be a go.. YEAH!!!
